I can't recommend Nancy at Know Your Dog Training highly enough…read more After doing extensive research to find the right trainer, I'm so glad I found Nancy. From the beginning it was clear that she has a deep understanding of dogs and brings a calm, confident, and professional approach to everything she does. My dog Kane completed a training program with her, and I was extremely impressed with the experience and the results. Nancy takes the time to truly understand each dog and provides the kind of structure, guidance, and consistency that helps dogs thrive. Since then, Nancy has also become my trusted go-to whenever I travel. Knowing Kane is in her care gives me tremendous peace of mind. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. What really sets Nancy apart is the level of attention and personalization she provides. This isn't a typical boarding situation -- she genuinely gets to know the dogs she works with and creates a thoughtful, structured environment for them. Nancy is trustworthy, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. I'm very grateful I found her and would recommend Know Your Dog Training without hesitation to anyone looking for a skilled trainer or a safe, reliable place for their dog while they're away.

Leah is highly trained and carries several certifications, including Fear Free -- One of the most valued certifications in our industry, which requires 10+ hours of training and examination. Her steadfast dedication to the pets in her care is simply unmatched. She's flexible, kind, responsive, and reasonably priced. But best of all - She's GOOD! If you have pets who suffer from separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, or you'd even just like to casually work more on basic obedience, you can't beat Born To Be Dog Training. Absolute A+ pet care company, fully endorsed by Jon Loves Dogs LLC!

When we started training with her, our dog was jumping and nipping, guarding chew toys and other objects, and barking and lunging at other dogs when we walked. We were on the verge of giving up. She assessed him and our home and gave us tips on how to help him manage his impulses and how to better communicate with him so that he could understand what we wanted. He has an almost-perfect recall now. He walks calmly on the leash. He responds to the command, "sit" when he starts to jump. He is a more relaxed and cooperative member of our household now. What an amazing transformation! We work with Leah primarily via video which has been surprisingly effective. I highly recommend Born to Be Dog Training.

Their response? "Oh, you'll need to take her to a vet, fire department, or somewhere to have her scanned, get documentation, take photos, have the person keep copies and send everything to us." Excuse me? You typed the wrong name. Why am I suddenly conducting a full CSI: Microchip Investigation? Apparently changing a shelter dog's name is groundbreaking technology that has never been attempted before in the history of pet ownership. At this point, I half expect them to request fingerprints, DNA samples, a blood oath, and three witnesses before they'll admit that Sadie is no longer named Sierra.

They cancelled the service however I was informed it takes up to 48 days. Just so we're clear FORTY EIGHT DAYS to get the money put back on the card! The product is so early 2000's compared to what's out there now. You can get a tag that gives the exact location. The only thing Home Again does is send out an email to people with the service that your dog is lost. If your dog happens to be scanned at a vet they have the information. I would locate my dog and go get them IF they ever got out which has never happened in 25+ years.
