If you want a DJ that plays none of the songs you requested, that drinks the alcohol at your wedding, and has an awful photo booth with horrible quality photos hire Alan and his team. Most unprofessional staff and team I have ever met!! They played my father daughter song twice before I even danced to it. They played none of the songs we requested, and were very rude when we asked to change a song. The only person hat was great was the MC, but everybody else was so so unprofessional. In my honest opinion they ruined our wedding, music was a big deal to us and they played nothing we wanted, and were very rude. Alan and the crew at My Event Pros were awesome! My husband and I got married on June 14 and we hired the team for our DJ, MC, bartenders, photo booth and lighting and they did an excellent job. We had our reception at a community center and they completely transformed it. All of our guests had a fantastic time! The only reason I would take off a half star tar is because of our music. There is a spot on their website where you can request music for your event and I spent hours picking songs. I also had our guests RSVP with a song they would like to hear (which each song had to be entered one by one) and hardly any of those songs were played. The music they played was great anyway. I just wish they didn't have the option of choosing your own music in the first place... Would've saved myself a lot of time. All in all, though our reception was amazing and Alan and his team worked hard to make sure everyone had an awesome time. They were prompt, hard working and fun. Terrible service!! For one, I was the one who had to reach out the week of my wedding to finalize everything and make sure they had everything they needed. Not once did they reach out to me!! Second , None of the songs I had requested were played. Third, my first dance was ruined!!!!! The song I requested was not the song that was played. My husband and I recently used My Event Pros for our wedding and words can't express how happy we were with their services. Alan and his crew were absolutely amazing. We booked them for DJ/MC, uplighting, and Photo Booth. Alan kept in touch with us up until the day of the wedding to insure that they had all of our special songs selected, our timeline, and to help us with any questions we may have. The day of went perfect. They made sure everything went according to the timeline we sent in, and it did 100%. I had special ceremony music that I wanted and they made sure to get it for me. After dinner, they had the best music playing on the dance floor that kept people so pumped they ended up dancing all night. WOW! We hired Alan & the team to provide a photobooth for our daughter's graduation party. The guests loved them. NOTE: this was the 2nd time that we had a photo booth and many guests commented on the professionalism and creativity. The photo booth was beautiful. It was the traditional seated booth with draping; not the open air (pipe and drape) booth that we've had previously. Jackie was there attending to the props, making suggestions, helping to pull on wigs and keeping the props in orderly fashion (instead of just bein dumped on a table for the guests to wade through). We hired My Event Pros to take care of the entertainment at my wedding last month, and we could not have been happier with the choice! Alan first met up with us a few months prior to the event for a consultation so we could speak in person about our expectations and their services, which was very comforting. We stayed in contact during the time between the consultation and the event and Alan directed us to their internet request feature which allowed us and guests to request music to be played at the event which was an awesome incentive! The weeks leading up to the event were very stressful so it was great that the DJ aspect of the event was so organized and stress free. Alan showed up with plenty of time to get set up proir to the event and get a feel for the layout of the reception hall. We had supplied a list of requests and told Alan to fill in the remaining time with songs of his choice, and we were very pleased with his selections. One of the things that stood out to us from these guys are their customer service for sure but also their diligence in getting the details right. We really felt like everything was handled really well and smooth, one of the things that stood out was their sound quality, I'm a big music guy, and I know solid sound quality when I hear it, and when the sound is solid the party keeps going and that's what I loved about these guys. One of the other aspects we liked was well, I'm a little embarrassed to say but our venue was well.. so so.. haha.. but man these guys made that venue look totally different with their lights, so definitely recommend the lighting as a plus, they also worked really well with the guitar player we hired, the guitar player at the end of the night complimented these guys on their professionalism.
