Last year my husband and I had the pleasure of having Alan DJ our wedding and Jaclyn photograph our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and Photographer, they worked so well together. Jaclyn is a natural! She was with my girls and I when we were getting ready until the end of the wedding. She knew exactly what to do with a room full of girls who were all over the place. Such creative ideas! She was so patient and sweet the whole time, which I really can't say about a lot of other photographers I have seen and interacted with. She took all the pictures we wanted in a timely manner which was really important for us. She captured tons of other moments that were so great to look back on. We had great pictures of our whole day! Not only did she take great pictures, she even stepped in and helped with some "wedding planner" duties. She was great at keeping me posted on the status of my pictures and was extremely accommodating with requests. Everyone loved our pictures! Alan is amazing at what he does! Finding a perfect DJ was a big deal for me, and that's exactly what he was. He played everything I wanted. I had a lot of different genres of music I wanted played and he did an amazing job at playing them all without making it seem like I just had my iPod on shuffle. One of my biggest pet peeves is when DJs play full songs while people are dancing, I wanted all the music to be mixed, one song into the next without an awkward pause. He did so great at mixing all the music! He also stepped in and MC'ed our wedding, which he was a natural at . I had so many people tell me how awesome Alan was, and they were right! Great music and great guys. Such a pleasure to deal with My Event Pros. These guys were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. Hired them to DJ the party initially and then found out that they offered extra services so we decided to add on the photo boot and uplighting. This made it so much easier for us since we only had to call them to make any changes to our timeline instead of having to make calls or send emails to multiple vendors. There Photo Booth was completely worth it because my family would not stop going to it all night. The lighting brought the room to life and the DJ rocked the dance floor! Our party was a success thanks to these guys and we hope we get to use them again in the future or hopefully our family and friends will use them for a future party we attend. The only thing I would have done differently is hired them to also do the coordinating. I had already hired a coordinator but I can definitely see the advantages of using them to provide that as well. Alan and Jonathan were absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I got married 09/27/2025 and are just in aw of everything they provided for us. From the start, they were extremely kind, communicative and so helpful! Everything they provide from their planning app, themselves, their equipment, their expertise, was nothing short of amazing. We unfortunately had a very bad experience with our wedding coordinator, two days before our wedding resulting in needing to find a new one and along with chaos, as you can imagine. After one phone call with Alan, I felt like everything was gonna be okay. His assertiveness, knowledge, and confidence in his work eased our minds so much. They say that one of the best signs of a great party is seeing everyone dancing. In that case, our Halloween party this past weekend was a huge hit. I owe most of it to Alan, who was an amazing DJ. My husband and I have hosted a Halloween party for the past 10 years. Unfortunately the DJ we were using previously moved, but Alan came highly recommended by our bartender. From the very beginning, Alan catered the playlist and set to fit our needs. He was friendly and accommodating. He also had an online system that allowed my friends and I to request songs in advance. It not only helped get a feel for our music needs, but had people looking forward to dancing. It didn't take long before the first group started dancing. And the rest of the night was filled with people enjoying themselves and getting lost in the music. Alan has a unique ability to mix genres in a seamless way. Our playlist definitely leaned to a certain genre, but he read the audience and played some other songs that had people reminiscing and getting them moving. We couldn't have asked for a better company to take care of our wedding day! We hired Alan and his team to provide coordination, DJ/MC and Uplighting for our wedding reception. Using them to do both our DJ service and our day of coordinating made communication a lot easier and convenient. They made sure the timeline for the day was flawless and they didn't miss a beat. We didn't realize how hectic the a wedding day can be for a bride and groom but we were getting pulled every which way to take pictures and greet family and our coordinator Jessica and MC B.J. made sure to keep us on schedule. We hired My Event Pros for our wedding ceremony and reception and they did an AMAZING job! They were extremely easy to work with and very accessible anytime we had any questions. We initially set up a meeting with Alan and he was super knowledgable and helped us with the entire planning process. We took advantage of their online system and it made the planning that much easier. We hired them to coordinate our wedding on top of providing the DJ and MC work for the ceremony and reception On the day of the wedding, they were punctual and on point. They pulled the entire event off flawlessly without any direction. We were truly free to enjoy the night without having to worry about them once. Alan and his team gigged our outdoor wedding held in upper Rancho Cucamonga in October, 2012. This was held at a private residence and they really made the best use of the space we had. They arrived ON TIME and setup with little or no interference with the hosts or wedding party. During the wedding, All I had to do is nod their way and the desired music for each part of the ceremony queued up without a hitch. My Event Pros has an extensive list of songs and music to pick from on their web site, and if they didn't have what we wanted... they found it and added it to the list; very accommodating. They fit the bill and covered musical tastes from ages 15 to 85. The Music continued through dinner and the first dance and beyond. Alan and his team are a pleasure to work with. They maintained good communication from first contact during our Wedding planning to breakdown and packing up when it came time to go home. The My Event Pros team was incredible! Our DJ for our wedding was our biggest priority and when we met with them we knew they were the ones! They are very knowledgable about how to work a wedding but what we loved was how comfortable they made us feel. A wedding is overwhelming and these guys really helped me calm my nerves. I decided to book their Day of Coordination along with their DJing services and it was worth every penny! You don't realize the value of a coordinator until you're wedding day arrives. Their coordinator took care of all the details before, during and after and was by our side to make sure we were on track and comfortable. In July 2012, I hired Alan to DJ a 21st birthday party for approximately 125 guest. Alan and his team exceeded my expectations. I'll be short and to the point. Alan is extremely professional, trust worthy and very easy to work with. He will work within your budget, is punctual and will dress for the occasion. Alan is very accessible via email, phone or text. If I had a question or concern, he would respond in a timely manner. As for the music, he can play music for any age group and crowd. (He played smooth jazz during dinner, for dancing 40's, 50's, Current music, Top 40's country, hiphop, etc...) My party's age range was 8 to 83....and let's just say, "Everyone was dancing for 3 hours", non-stop, including our seniors. This was the first time I had ever hired a DJ.....and I am extremely happy with my choice! In our search for our wedding DJ they were the only company that were truly able to provide us with what we were looking for, peace of mind. We booked Alan and his team to do our ceremony and wedding reception after meeting them at a local bridal show. I have to say that they were INCREDIBLE!! They honestly delivered ALOT more than we could have ever imagined! Their service includes a separate MC (a HUGE plus!) and not only did the MC do an amazing job on the mic but he went above and beyond to make sure everything went on without a hitch. They were basically our coordinators for the night. They lined up our bridal party, let the house know when to pour champagne and even helped us do the tasks our actual coordinator was supposed to take care of. My only regret is not hiring them to officially be our coordinators. These guys know their stuff and I'm so glad I trusted my wedding day with them. After hiring Alan and his crew for our wedding we feel like we added a few new members to our family! We couldn't have made a better choice in hiring a DJ company for our day that we planned for so long. What can I say? Alan is fantastic. I had 9 DJ's to choose from but from the moment we spoke there was a wonderful connection. He was responsive to my calls and emails and was relaxed about mailing my payment and contract in. After selecting my playlist from 1000's of songs, I snet him an edditional list which he was so open to playing. He arrived on time, professionally dressed, set p noiselessly and did not disturbe guests who were eating and chatting. From the get go, he played hit after hit and the dance floor was full till the party ended. Booked My Event Pros for my wedding and I honestly can't recommend them enough! Alan and his team were extremely communicative leading up to the even and even made recommendations on our schedule to help the event flow more smoothly. They set up quickly and the uplighting absolutely transformed the room and brought it to life. When it came time for the wedding and reception, they communicated with us through every step and helped us move through entrances, dinner, and speeches very efficiently. As for the music and party, they kept the dance floor full the entire night. The Emcee kept the party going and the music was incredible. It goes without saying that 2020 has been a very difficult year for everyone however the big day that I had always dreamed of happened to fall in the middle of this pandemic. Alan & Jessica over at My Event Pros however really helped us keep it together as all of original plans fell apart. We hired them for our original wedding reception in April but with all the shut downs they were able to work with us to reschedule to a different date and venue once everything opened back up. Not only were they completely understanding but they were extremely flexible given the circumstances. I hired Jessica's services for month of/day of coordination and planning for my wedding and I highly recommend her! While she handled a lot of the communication to vendors before the wedding, the real work came on the day of when tons of things needed to be accounted for, set up, and adjusted on the fly. With so much going on, Jessica was on top of it all and made sure to keep the stress off of my shoulders. She made sure to keep things on schedule and was always there to help me with something if I asked her. My bustle failed throughout the night and she helped fix it a number of times.
