This place is great for so many reasons. Every teacher or coach I've come across here has been wonderful. Friendly, positive, supportive, and encouraging. After attending a friend's birthday party here, I decided to host one for my son's first birthday. It was great. They only charge for kids, they helped with set up and clean up, they have competitive pricing, and the kids had a blast. Just recently, I've been interested in classes for my daughter. I was just about to sign up for ballet elsewhere, but we met Teacher Jasmine (the dance teacher) during a trial gymnastics class and she totally won me over. And as a bonus, their classes come with an extra "practice and play" session per week for open play on Wednesday nights. However, I'm currently feeling pretty cheated. I just happened to overhear that if you sign up for classes on the day of your trial class, THEY WAIVE THE REGISTRATION FEE!! $75 is a big deal. That's almost an extra 4 weeks of classes I could've signed up for if someone would've told me during my trial. Update: They totally credited me the registration fee. Also, every time I leave this place, I'm in a better mood than when I walked in. Every time. read more

I can not say enough good things about this My Gym. The facility is extremely clean. There is plenty of seating in the waiting space for family to sit and watch. My kids love to show off for each other. The staff is absolutely the sweetest!!! All of them! Annie is one of the owners and she actually gave me her cell phone. The instructors seriously make me tear up with the love, care, patience, and fun they have with alllll the children. My daughter is a little mischievous and let me tell you they treat her with the most respect and care. She has absolutely blossomed since she has been here. Saw the excellent yelp reviews for this location and decided to have my daughter's 6th birthday party here. Spoke with Destiny who went over all the details of how everything would proceed and also who would be running it the day of. She was super helpful especially with all our questions since that was our first time there. When we checked out the place it was very clean and had LOTS of stuff for the kids to play, jump and swing on. So the day of her brithday we were running a bit late and Tommy and Lucy were insanely helpful with setting up and at the same time getting our party started. The energy level and just how they kept everything rolling so smooth was seriously amazing. All the kids loved them and they kept everything going so that there was no space for anyone to get bored. Since it was her birthday they made sure to keep her the star of day which we really appreciated. They had a series of games then food then cake. They have a separate room for food and cake, and the rest of the gym is in the other room. Childern run barefoot and adults wear socks. Their parking is pretty good since they share the parking lot with other places and another restaurant. We would definitely be coming back here for their classes and future birthdays! read more

My Gym is GREATTTT!! I found out about this place from a deal I purchased off groupon, thank you groupon. I purchased my deal and had some questions, I called my gym and they called me back and explained everything in detail how everything works. I took my son for his 1st class and he loved it and so did I. We've only had a few sessions but so far everything has been great, the instructors here are AMAZINGGGGG! Heather and Derek are the biggest sweethearts in the whole world, they know all the kids name, they are sooo playful and just sooo loving of each and every child. There were soooo many kids running around and screaming and they were just loving every bit of it and having fun along with them. Even after a few hours with my child I go a lil koo koo but with them it was complete opposite, you can tell that they genuinely enjoy their job and they love the children. This place has some awesome learning/gym things, my son loved the swing and the trampoline, for his bday we are actually going to get him his own trampoline because of My gym. I'm really looking forward to coming back and letting my son run around and be a kid and learn the new skill sets they teach here. Thank you Mygym for a great experience and a great enviroment for my child. They also offer a kinder music class which we will probably start next year as well. My only con-parking here can suck, it's hard to find because they are competing with all the other businesses in the area. read more

I started coming to MyGym when my child turned 4 months and I'm so glad I checked it out. Destiny is so amazing with my daughter and she started crawling at six months due to some of the practice skills that Destiny worked on with her. I can't believe my luck in having MyGym close to my home and finding a place where the teachers love on my kid. The equipment is clean and they switch it up every week. They give you practice skills to help with stretching and exercise. Destiny really knows her stuff! I had tons of questions as a first time mother but was afraid I wouldn't fit in during "Mommy&me" classes as I have a lot of social anxiety but all of the parents in these classes and especially the teachers were super friendly. I've received some great advice and pointers on things like sleep training, teething, baby movement, traveling with baby, etc. Now my little girl gets excited as soon as we walk up to the MyGym doors and will make a B line towards Destiny during circle/tummy time. As a parent, nothing makes me happier than to see my child excited, learning, focused, and just being loved. Just this week, Destiny told my child "I Missed you," and my child looked at her and babbled as if to say I missed you too! No amount of $ would be too high for the great learning experiences my kid (and me) have had but I find MyGym to be affordable and flexible. Thank you so much My Gym! read more

We love My Gym! My son has been Going to the Tiny Tykes classes for about 3 months now and always has the best time. the teachers are amazing and make an effort in getting to know each kid. My 2-year old twins had fun here, but I had to cancel as it was getting too hard to manage and assist 2 two-year olds by myself. Be warned, when you cancel, they'll charge you 1 additional month. They say it's noted in the paperwork when you sign up but I can't find it in my emails. Plan for your cancellation 2 months in advance. UPDATE: Received a call from the owner who reviewed our paperwork and acknowledged that there was a small error when we signed up and saw that we weren't told of the cancellation policy. My daughter loves My Gym! She is always so happy to hear we're going to class, and if we miss a week because of illness or a holiday, she is beyond excited to go there! We have been attending classes here since she was 7 months and could barely sit upright unassisted. Now, she is almost 2 years old and jumping, running, climbing, balancing, and swinging all over the place! All of the teachers-Destiny, Bree, Tia, Tommy, and Lucy- are so great. They have so much enthusiasm and they are very sweet with the children. I also really appreciate that they switch things up from week to week. While there is a similar structure to every class - warm up circle time activities, skill stations, adventure activities, swing time, separation time, and a puppet show- they also do a great job of making it fun and different each time. My daughter's favorite adventure - and a popular one with most of the kiddos- is the zip line! Unfortunately, we may only be able to continue attending classes for another 6 months or so because of our schedules. We have taken our daughter to MyGym Northridge since she was 9 months old and she is currently 2. Here's what we like about the place. 1. The staff is sooo GREAT. This might be the best thing about the gym. Heather has done a great job hiring people who are great with kids. Maurie was really great when we first started at My Gym. It seems to me like she payed extra attention to our daughter who was quite shy when she first started. Omar has also been really great at breaking her out of her shell. Omar is probably our daughter's favorite. Nyla and Destiny have also been really great. All the staff is very friendly and they learn your child's name and likes/dislikes very quickly. 2. They do a great job of changing the way the place looks every week. They are always moving the ball pit, trampoline, ladders, etc. every week so the place always looks different and my daughter doesn't get bored with it. 3. We've taken our daughter since she was less than a year old and MyGym has helped reinforce some of the things we've tried to teach her, such as her body parts, cleaning up, etc. 4. The special events such as wearing your Halloween Costume to class or Cookies with Anna from Frozen were really fun. We've yet to take advantage of Parents Night Out, where they take care of your LO so you can go out on a Friday or Saturday night but that is available. The only downside is the lack of parking. The center is very popular and parking for the evening classes is difficult because of that. read more

We have been taking our daughter here since she could barely walk. She always looks forward to her visits gets her fill of physical activity and interaction. The place is clean and is full of climbing, swinging, and bouncing equipment that is constantly re-arranged in creative way. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and know exactly how to keep kids engaged and immersed while teaching them important skills. My daughter has a good time here. The classes are structured pretty well and engaging, verses just a free for all. The times we've been there it seems clean and I haven't noticed any sick kids/parents, which is a huge plus; since many times at these places, despite signs/etc, there still manages to be kids whose parents think it's perfectly acceptable to bring a coughing/hacking/runny nose/congested kid to play places with other kids. lol. It's a pretty small place, but for my daughter's age, she doesn't seem to mind and they utilize the space well. The most recent time I went, it smelled like such funky, nasty, dirty gym socks and feet, that it would make a middle school boys locker room after a 3 hour gym class, smell like heaven. The smell was offensive enough for me to consider knocking a star off. After 20 minutes you just become accustomed to it, but I can't help but wonder what type of nasty sh*t is dwelling in the fibers of that flooring. YUCKKKKKK. read more

My first time here and WOW!!!! First of all the employees greeted as with big smiles and helped set up everything!!! Then for 2.5 hours they played with 10-12 kids kept them busy and happy!!! They sang, played games and best part was them doing the Happy Birthday song!!! Lucy and Tommy were just amazing!!! I cant describe how great they were with the kids and the guests!!! My Gym Northridge is without a doubt one of the most wonderful experiences we could have had growing a healthy fitness lifestyle together at such an early age. My child started around 2 years old. We were members pre-COVID and had the honor of working with some of the best teachers and coaches around. They were caring, attentive, thoughtful, fun, energetic, professional, and made a great impression on us. Therefore, this was the first class we went back to during March 2021 pandemic (who could have guessed here we are still still going thru it!). We were so grateful for the continued quality in service, care, and classes. They managed to stay in business during a pandemic, but also really show they put members first. We continued to go until our schedules got too busy with work and school. They put their community first. The staff is so thoughtful and caring with everything they do. This place is amazing! Makes you wish you were their age. Unfortunately, my 17 month old boy didn't last 10 mins since he's not used to a structured class. He screamed and cried during circle time because all he wanted to do was get off my lap and run and play -_- it was super embarrassing having to leave but I didn't want to disturb the rest of the class. The instructors were very patient and understanding so please don't let my experience hinder you. My kid is just crazy lol. The place is very safe and clean and doesn't have that weird smell a lot of play areas have. Definitely want to try again (this was our first class and it was free) and maybe bring his dad this time around haha read more
