So grateful to have a place like My Gym in SCV to take my little one to. I love that My Gym offers a safe fun environment for your child to play & be free all while learning new skills. I recently went here with my 7 month old & had the best experience! My baby had the time of his life crawling everywhere & trying new things. I loved not having to feel on edge about his safety as everything is well padded & kid proof here. I also loved the social aspect of the class he attended, it was nice getting to watch him interact with all the babies around him. My Gym truly does offer the perfect environment for playing & learning. I ended up signing up for the 1 week unlimited class trial for $29 which was well worth it in my opinion. I definitely look forward to coming here more often as I feel you really do get your moneys worth from their monthly membership. Definitely try this place out if you're looking for a fun way to get you & your kid out the house you won't regret it!

MyGym is the highlight of my toddler's week! He looks forward to starting the day and heading over. The coaches are all amazing (Ms. Serena, Ms. Karina, Ms. Cruz, everyone) in working with the kiddos, great at redirecting them and creating an overall, joyful environment. Thanks MyGym!

Been coming here for a little over a year and this is definitely my kid's favorite place. We did take a break for a little bit because there seemed to be a dynamic change with the new staff (we almost end cancelled out membership) but we just returned today and the atmosphere we originally feel in love with has returned. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my twins feel so special and learn while having so much fun! We love this place! My only complaint is I wish they would bring back the pre-ballet and tae kwon do classes but from my understanding, there just wasn't enough kids signing up.

I can not say enough about this place. My daughter and nephew started together and they enjoy every week. Ms. Serena and Ms. Isabella are angels. My daughter is shy and it takes time for her to warm up to people, both these ladies take the time to play with her in order for her to warm up. When it comes to the swings portion of the class my daughter looks and waits for Ms. Serena to play with her.

If I could describe the Valencia EOS, in three words, it would be "REPAIR IN PROGRESS". In fact, leave your weight belt at home and bring your tool belt instead. I've trained at EOS gyms throughout Arizona and they are always well maintained. When EOS purchased the Valencia Golds Gym I was initially excited. The Gold's Gym needed some serious upgrades and I thought EOS would get after it. Unfortunately, after all the Golds Gym signs were taken down, the maintenance crew jumped ship. The original weight machines from when the gym opened 14 years ago are falling apart. The only thing that's guaranteed to work is the merchant account debiting your bank account every month. The other day I walked by four treadmills before I found one that worked. There is one cable crossover machine that has been broken for nearly 6 months. It sits in the middle of the gym with an aging "Repair in Progress" sign. The sign should read "Rest in Peace". It's become the new gym mascot. I think we should give it a name and decorate it for the holidays, because management won't do anything about it. HMU if you guys want to start a GoFundMe account to get it fixed. Nicer gyms repair broken equipment immediately, but EOS lets them sit and rot. Meanwhile, the gym hosts never ending membership drives and it's undoubtedly working, because the gym is packed. EOS mailers pour out of my mailbox. I can't imagine how much they're spending on marketing, but sadly, there is nothing left in the budget for maintenance and upgrades. The only notable improvements I've seen are modern business signs on the exterior and pretty So Cal paintings on the walls. If you are an older or advanced trainer avoid this gym at all costs, unless of course you're going to one of the classes, I hear those are OK With the unrelenting crowds due to low membership fees, gym etiquette is marginal. With that said, imagine what wonders await you in the men's locker room. You'll have to skillfully navigate through hoards of skinny/fat dudes taking shirtless selfies. I've photo bombed several of them just walking by minding my own business. Sometimes you're treated to a guy blasting rap music out of his iPhone for everyone's listening pleasure. The adjacent bathrooms are always foul smelling. One morning, I had to walk through sewage water to wash my hands because of the never-ending drainage issues. You may want to throw your galoshes in the gym bag just in case. The sink / soap dispensers work infrequently and now one of the hand dryers has the ubiquitous "Repair in Progress" sign. Don't buy it, it's false advertising. There will be no repair, nor any progress; it's been broken for weeks. You'll have to lineup to dry your hands from here on out. After several years of membership at this location, I have decided to join another gym. A few of my friends have already left, and I will follow them. All things considered, EOS Valencia isn't that bad of a gym, it's worse.

However, I've now had two uncomfortable interactions with a front desk employee named Deborah that left me feeling frustrated, unwelcome, and honestly unsafe. The first interaction happened while I was on the treadmill. Deborah approached me and told me that "someone complained" because I didn't have headphones on while watching something on my phone. I completely understand the common courtesy of using headphones in the gym, which is why I purposely chose a treadmill with empty machines on both sides of me, kept the volume extremely low, and even had captions on. The gym music, conversations, treadmills, and equipment were all significantly louder than my phone. When I explained this, Deborah herself responded, "Oh I know, I can't even hear it and I'm standing right here." That immediately confused me, because if she couldn't hear it standing next to me, I didn't understand why it was being treated like a complaint issue. When I asked who complained, she said she didn't know. The only people near me were a few women talking loudly together, so the situation felt strange and unnecessary. What bothered me most was not the reminder itself, I understand policies and courtesy rules exist. What bothered me was the approach. It felt like she blamed an "anonymous member complaint" instead of simply asking me directly to put headphones on. I later told Deborah that I didn't appreciate being told a story that didn't make sense when she could have just communicated honestly and respectfully. The second interaction happened when my app wasn't working and I asked to check in using my phone number. As I was walking away, Deborah stopped me and repeatedly pushed me to take a photo for the account. I told her multiple times that I was not comfortable doing that, but she continued pushing and giving reasons that were not accurate. I explained that I've been coming here for months without issue and that my home gym already has my photo on file. She incorrectly insisted this location was my home gym, even after my app showed otherwise. Again, the issue is not that she wants to do her job thoroughly. The issue is the way she communicates and disregards boundaries after being told "no." Not everything needs to become confrontational or overexplained. There's a difference between being helpful and making members feel uncomfortable. These interactions have created a negative feeling every time I come in and see her working. I hope management addresses the importance of respectful communication and listening to member concerns and boundaries. If management would like to contact me directly, Deborah knows exactly who I am.

They're knowledgeable, keep things safe, and still push you to get the most out of the workout. Jessica is super kind, encouraging, and actually remembers people, which you don't see everywhere. She creates a really comfortable, welcoming environment and explains things in a way that makes you feel confident. Robert's classes are always waitlisted and it makes sense. He challenges you without overdoing it and keeps workouts creative, especially with the reformer. Sarah is great too, very positive energy, especially in the mornings. I just wish I could take more of her classes. Walter is also really knowledgeable and just very solid overall. Shoutout to the front desk and management team. Gail, the general manager, is amazing and has been so supportive of my fitness journey. She really makes people feel seen and comfortable. Roberto, the assistant manager, always checks in and remembers details, which makes the gym feel more personal. Dustin is also super helpful anytime I've needed anything. Mark, who I did a trial personal training session with, was really nice and encouraging and made it a great first experience. The smoothie spot inside is also really good, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's just a really solid gym with people who care. Makes it easy to keep showing up.

I am writing this review to formally express a serious concern regarding the Valencia LA Fitness…read morelocation. On Monday, I attended a kickboxing class in the studio and the room was extremely hot due to a lack of air conditioning. The thermostat showed a temperature of 90 degrees, creating unsafe and completely intolerable conditions. It was so uncomfortable that I genuinely felt like I might faint, and several other members also looked visibly affected. It was clear the environment was not safe for a high-intensity workout. Kickboxing is already a demanding physical activity, and without proper cooling or ventilation, it becomes a real health risk. This goes beyond discomfort and enters the territory of heat exhaustion and dehydration. As a fitness facility, LA Fitness has a responsibility to ensure workout spaces are safe, and this location failed to meet that standard. Because the class could not be safely completed, I am requesting that this issue be properly addressed and corrected to ensure the studio's HVAC system is fully inspected, repaired, and maintained so that safe temperatures are consistently upheld during all classes. I am also requesting written confirmation that the issue has been resolved and that appropriate corrective action has been taken. I expect a written response confirming the steps taken to fix this issue, along with documentation of the corrective action, no later than 7 business days from the date of this message. If I do not receive a timely response within that timeframe, I will escalate this matter further. At the time of the class, there was no immediate acknowledgment or resolution offered. Members should not be expected to risk their health or lose value due to preventable facility issues. I strongly urge management to take this seriously, ensure proper temperature control for all future classes, and provide written confirmation that corrective action has been completed. Safety should always come first, especially in group fitness environments. I hope this issue is resolved promptly and appropriately so that no one else has to experience unsafe conditions like this again.

It's organized and clean although sometimes it's a little dusty. That's the worst thing I can say. But this is Santa Clarita and everyone knows it's dry and windy so it's going to be a little dusty from the door constantly being opened. My experience with staff has always been positive. My encounters with Joel (the manager for a few years now) and Riley, has always been positive. They are friendly and polite and they do a great job of keeping the gym in order. Being that this gym has a more upscale feel and is available to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with limited staffing, members are expected to police themselves and follow the rules. It's not only ownership that expects this, but it's other members as well. That's why we pay more for membership here. If I wanted a messy gym where nobody cares, I'd go to LA fitness. Members are held accountable of they commit rules violations and some people don't like that. This isn't LA fitness or EOS where if you break a rule, nobody says anything (which is also one of the reasons I really like this place). If you don't want a problem with staff, follow the rules. Don't open the door for anyone who can't get in on their own, don't bring in guests (or your children) during unstaffed hours and return the equipment you use. It's common sense and courtesy. There are signs up with rule reminders around the gym and at the front door and everybody gets explained the security rules upon signing up. If you break the rules, you're probably going to get contacted by staff. Most members appreciate the attention to safety and enforcement of picking up when you're done. Others appear to get upset because they didn't like being told they violated a rule and come to yelp to complain. Don't judge this place based off a few negative reviews left by people who are upset they were contacted for rules violations or didn't know how to read the contract they signed. It's a great community, it's safe and has everything you need to get a great workout!

The truth is, keeping up at 51 has been a challenge. Up until about three months ago, I was fighting what I call the 'dad bod life'--adding a few pounds here and there, year after year. It's been almost three months since I joined a mind, body, and soul program, and I've started to feel a real sense of community, or a culture if you will, created by the founder, Jason. Just last week, I found myself with walking pneumonia, and I was laid out for a couple of days--I mean, laid out. After looking into B12 shots, liquid IVs, and cryo chambers, I sent Jason a message and asked, 'Does the infrared sauna really work? I'm feeling pretty drained and need a quick solution.' Since my family and I are members (my wife, my 12-year-old son, and me--don't ask me to repeat my age again, lol), he said, 'I'll put you down for an appointment and give you a quick intro.' The rest is history. After two sessions, and just two days later, I was feeling a lot more like myself. Now, this was after already consulting with western medicine--seeing a doctor and taking medication. The infrared sauna helped me regain my strength in just two days. I found myself looking at my wife, saying, 'Can you believe this?' The point is, the infrared sauna doesn't just help flush out impurities--it also brings back your energy. But more importantly, I'm so grateful to Jason for allowing our family to be part of this community! If you're reading this, I highly recommend you get off the couch and message Jason ASAP!"
