I noticed that their bacon is crispy and not that microwavable crap you get at other sandwich shops so that's a plus. This is my 2nd choice if I don't have time from work to make the trip to Delia's. My husband and I love this place. They have amazing subs. My favorite is the 12 inch meatball. I love the marinara sauce they put on it & it's covered with melted provolone cheese My husband gets the cheesesteak. The subs are a great price it's only $3.99 for a 6 inch & $6.49 for a 12 inch. They also have subs for $1.99 for lighter eaters (less meat). However, when we go there we always get the bigger sandwich. My husband eats the whole sandwich and I save half of it for later. We eat here often and would highly recommend it to anyone that is craving a tasty sub! read more

I get the $1.69 sub when I'm here. Because really that is plenty of food. It is a very basic sub but the bread is great, and it has lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Delicious little sandwiches for dirt cheap! Yummy! The single layer six inch mini sub is perfect for a decent sized appetite that doesn't require being stuffed to the gills. Love that Italian dressing. Regular sized sandwiches both hot and cold, are way cheaper than subway and taste better, kind of homemade. Love this place! Considering I am always on a budget this is the perfect place to splurge and not go broke. The service however is not the best. There is a short stocky girl that works the register and she is just the rudest person. She is the reason I don't like going that often anymore. There is another girl who works the register who is waaaay nicer than the other girl. She needs to be there all the time. The last thing you need is bad customer service at your favorite place. I am not sure if the owners read these reviews or if something has been done about this girl already but I always recommend this place to friends and family, but I also prepare them for the "rude girl" that works there. I LOVE MY HERO SUBs. it's simple but the taste is perfect. This is a fantastic family-owned sub shop with the best subs I have ever had. Everytime I am in the area I try to stop here. The prices are great and they have student discounts. A footlong w/ chips and drink will run around $7. I recommend the turkey but anything is great. The break and the Italian dressing they use is the best! read more

Yeah the subs are really good, but they are SO STINGY with their condiments. I asked (and paid for) extra tomatoes. When i opened up my sub (and I am NOT exaggerating), there was a CORNER of a tomato!! ON BOTH SUBS! & that was considered "extra"?! I'd hate to see how much you get if you didn't ask or pay for extra. MAKE sure to look at your sub when you ask for condiments to make sure you are not getting ripped off :) read more

Service is fast and normally pretty friendly. Can't beat the $2 jr subs. I remember back when they were $1.25. Tried a regular sub for the first time and it was basically the same as a jr sub with 2 more pieces is meat and more lettuce. Not really worth it for double the price. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because they gave me some old ham in my sandwich. You can tell when ham is fresh, and the ham in my sandwich had a grayish tint to it. Also it always smells absolutely horrible in there and the dinning room floors have black build up around the tables, which is easily removed with some degreaser and scrubbing which tells me they don't worry to much about deep cleaning the place. read more

Great deli sandwiches for $1.69. Most would think "$1.69..must not be good," BUT they're sandwiches are super delicious and the meat and cheese are freshly cut. Only downfall and reason why they lost a star is because they charge when customers pay with a credit card. Boo! However, I would still recommend eating here to anyone! read more

I have been a loyal MyHero customer for almost a decade. I fell in love with their junior subs in high school. I think what makes these cheap sandwiches so satisfying is the delicious bread. It is so good. Yeah, the meat isn't very high quality, but the sandwich as a whole is still quite tasty. Customer service isn't stellar, but who cares? You are there to eat a cheap sandwich, not make a new friend. read more

I don't get all of the great reviews for this place at all. We came here on a weekday and ordered two 6" veggie subs. The description sounded promising with avocado, tomato etc. so we were really excited but when they came out we both looked at each other and knew these sandwiches were a rip off. First off, 95% of the sandwich was bread with a very thin layer of ingredients. The bread is dry and thick with little flavor and they had the nerve to charge 25 cents for a cup of ice. To top off the horrible taste and value of the sandwiches, we kept finding pieces of bacon in our subs (which is disgusting since we are vegetarians). I really don't understand why anyone thinks this place is a good value because compared to Subway it's a rip off. For a few more bucks you can eat at Subway and get a decent sized sandwich that is actually fair with toppings (and they have good bread). This place is also dirty looking and the employees are not at all friendly or welcoming. Overall, one of the worst eateries I have ever been to. read more
