Hands down favorite local Chinese spot. My house always answers quickly to take the order and has it ready in 10 minutes, so fast! The crab ragoons are my favorite, so flavorful, crispy and clearly HAND MADE. So good we always order 2 orders. My husband loves the wonton soup and it's a very large portion. Worst food ever. I had bad Chinese food but this one took the cake. The food was bland and mushy. I bit into the spring roll and was grossed out by the mushy texture. I have never had a spring roll like it before. I also ordered wonton soup. So bland it tasted like dirty water and the wonton texture again was peculiar. We have been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant since we moved to AZ. My wife found this one from an ad on the internet saying it's "The Best In Chandler". I HOPE NOT! Just stopped by to order lunch to go. Clean dinning room not so friendly initial interaction from the cashier. My daughter and I was the only customers for the duration of our wait (Approx 20mins) for our Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli (lunch menu). First time trying this establishment and I have to say I was disappointed. There are menus pretty much everywhere you can look, at the entrance, and cash register. It was pretty obvious this was my first time in and the cashier only suggested the lunch menu not caring about helping me through the large menu (not only the lunch side) I felt pretty rushed for no reason as there wasn't anyone in the restaurant for the entire 30 mins we visited for. Got home ready to try our food and almost immediately we noticed the breaded orange and sesame chicken and egg rolls were TERRIBLY DRY!!! We don't know if it frost bite chicken/egg rolls, over cooked, or bad meat!?? The worst dish I ever tried in my LIFE from an Asian restaurant is the order of their BEEF AND BROCCOLI I know they dont cook rubber beef and dry broccoli in New York! I took one bite of my daughters order and felt like I was chewing on a DEFLATED balloon!! Their fried rice as chunks of swine in it which was okay to pick out and give the dog a treat. Seriously they couldn't try harder to show how they don't care of providing good quality service just slap whatever together for $20 bucks. I had the chicken teriyaki and it was decent in flavor but didn't taste like the traditional teriyaki I was expecting - the sauce was very red compared to the usual brown color. The food was also brought out cold for my parents and had to be reheated, and had already taken a bit to make. It sounds like they serve the veggies first and then grill the chicken and they should probably wait to serve the vegetables until the chicken is done. read more

With (currently) 4 1/2 stars, I certainly hope there's no "ballot stuffing" going on here. My ordering experience at My House involved two people. The first was a very pleasant and helpful young man. He seemed genuinely interested to help by offering to answer questions about the menu and he did so with a smile. I also got the impression he's the only person there with any notion of customer service. The second person I dealt with was someone who may have been an owner or manager. When I asked the first person about the House Beef Bowl (Number 54 on the paper menu) the second person jumped in and said they weren't offering it anymore because it would take HIM seven minutes to prepare, and HE felt it was too much time, especially when they're busy. Keep in mind 1.) I was the only person in the restaurant 2.) the item is listed on the paper menu (see photo) and hadn't so much as been crossed out and 3.) after ordering alternate items I was told it would take 10 minutes which, I believe, is three minutes longer. I'm trying to be objective with this review, but I have to say, I feel sorry for the first person. The first person spoke in such a way as to defend what may be his employer and, possibly, his job when trying to explain the second person's decision about not serving what was on the menu. He did so as tactfully as anyone could expect, but I doubt he gets paid any extra for it. I hope the first person was, at least, the recipient of the entire tip I left. As for the food, the fried rice didn't seem fried and the Buffalo Chicken Wings weren't Buffalo style at all. This was previously a 5-star review, and used to be my favorite place to pick up food. I drive from Scottsdale just to treat myself. I would tell everyone about it and they all agreed that it was the best around! I don't know what happened, but this is not the same. I gave it two tries in the last 2 months, both times it was not good. There was no flavor at all. No matter what I added to it, it was bland. This place a go to the counter and order your food, sit down and they do bring it to your table if you're eating in type of place. The staff was extremely friendly, very helpful, and attentive to our needs. The sesame chicken was good, but not the greatest that I've ever had thus the reason for four not five stars, the wonton soup was phenomenal, and the edamame was very delicious, the chicken fried rice was very good, the fried wonton, although good was a little overcooked. There were 6 of us that came in right at 5pm. There is very little room on site, but we were lucky to get good seating immediately. Service was excellent. Between the six of us, we had Egg Foo Young, Shrimp Chow Fun, Pad Thai, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Low Mein, and a couple other dishes along with Hot and Sour Soup. All of it was delicious. We couldn't decide what to eat so we wanted to try them out since they're super close to our home. We ordered the walnut shrimp, beef chow mein, Mongolian beef, and pork chow mein. The sauce for the walnut shrimp was good but I felt like they shouldn't have breaded the shrimp. If they just put the sauce right on the shrimp then it would've tasted better.
