Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm a business owner. I had previously dedicated myself to purchasing Dodge/Ram/ Jeep products for our company and accumulated a fleet of roughly 20 D/R/J vehicles. We currently only have 9 remaining in our fleet after dealing with issue after issue. The remaining 9 all have problems we are being forced to deal with as well. Having owned a lot of vehicles over the years, I know not to set my expectations very high when working with the dealership service departments but Salinas takes it to a new, low level. They seem to have zero appreciation for the dedication to brand and are simply hell bent on squeezing every penny out of every customer without empathy or consideration for customer service. If you own a D/R/J product, take your vehicle elsewhere to be serviced. If you don't, I would encourage you to consider another brand of vehicle. A short list of issues we have faced... Every single Ram 1500 pick up truck we have purchased has required a new radiator, new engine mounts for what is commonly referred to as the "Hemi tick" and burns through batteries faster than any car I have ever owned. We also purchased a number of Jeep Cherokees for our administrative staff. Every single one of them had the exact same engine problem which caused the vehicle to shut down while driving. We have not owned a single D/R/J product that did not have serious problems. Our recent service experience with this dealership has put the nail in the coffin. Drove down from the east bay to pick up a 23' Wrangler at this dealer. Price was very reasonable and the condition of the Jeep is excellent. Humberto was our salesman and himself gets a 5 star rating along with Ray the 'Sales Manager'. My wife and I were in and out within an hour, minus commuting, whole process was quicker than expected. The service write Ryan was wonderful and the other two young ladies are always very nice and helpful as well but the one star is for the service manager I believe his name is Don he's rude and always looks angry my partner took his vehicle in for a faulty light on and vehicle needed an oxygen sensor we understood the vehicle was just out of warranty and thank you for Ryan trying his best to see what he can do but the service manager Don stated there was nothing he can do it was out of his hands but my partner took his vehicle to Watsonville and Watsonville stated the manager could've done a one time good will since we had just missed the warranty so the manager at Watsonville went ahead and gave us a one time good will it's a shame we will not be back since we really did like the service at My jeep but Don just really made this last experience horrible so you lost a good customer because of him! read more

In dealing with this Salinas service department on two separate occasions, I am writing this review because I feel they are service-driven and focused on their customers' needs. Of course, they care about the bottom line, but I feel like they are more focused on assessing and helping their customers have a great overall experience. Here is an overview of the experiences I have had at this location in Salinas: OIL CHANGE: I took our Pacifica in for an oil change and was treated professionally by both my service advisor and at checkout. I was told there would be a 90-minute wait for my oil change the week prior, and it was approximately 90 minutes. I also received my vehicle back in the same condition. (That has not always been the case with other centers! We once received our vehicle back with a used face mask and a sock when our vehicle was returned!) The advisor also answered a question I had that was car-related, but not oil change-related. She had to research what I was asking, but came back promptly and with the information I needed. She was kind and she seemed experienced and knowledgeable! AUTO REPAIR & SERVICE: I called to speak to someone in regard to the issues I was having with our vehicle. It took a couple of tries to get through, and I could tell that they were extremely busy, but the service manager (Don) answered. He asked what issues I was having with our vehicle, but when I went into more details he asked questions (to get more insight on how he could assist,) he looked at my vehicle's past history and took time to talk with me about my concerns to best assist me BEFORE I made an appointment. I called with questions and was spoken to with respect as an individual and concern for my vehicle's needs. Don was professional and I felt he genuinely wanted to help me with my vehicle's issues! On both occasions, I appreciated being treated as a valued customer, as it has not been our experience at other dealerships and service centers! I am a woman, who drives our family's Pacifica 90% of the time, and is responsible for the maintenance and decisions when it comes to service on the vehicle. I've had work done at This dealership many times before. It takes a little patients right now, things have not come back to normal from the whole Covid-19. Here is what I find funny that we have Karen's that come in and have no patients, this job is as hard as any other retail customer service job out there. My husband and I decided to go in to get a new car. We met with Armando with whom we've bought two previous cars in the past. Couldn't use my husband's credit. Used mine and our son. We were there for a very long time had to wait for approval we went home, took two days for a phone call . Got the approval for a Jeep Renegade. Signed all the paper work. Put a partial deposit down for the Jeep.was going to pay the rest on October 4th. Jonas in finance calls and tells me. After doing the paperwork spending Hours, the new bank requires me to have a drivers license in order to take the car after we planned on paying the difference. In the past I've never had to used my license to drive a car off the lot I've gotten a Kia Soul which we traded in for a 2016 Dodge Journey. Could not use the journey for a trade in because of what's still owed. Unbeknownst to us we Was informed that while we used the Kia for a trade in on the Journey My Jeep Chrysler only did a partial Payment on the Kia and tact on what was left on the journey leaving us with 20,000 and some change. Being a loyal customer for three years to be treated this way. I am disappointed and hurt. I thought there was a good relationship with them. My husband and I referred our friends to them. After being burned for the third time, I have severed all business ties with My Jeep Chrysler. They have lost a loyal and valuable customer. I went into the parts and accessories department 2/19/21. I spoke with a gentleman, I told him I own a Ram Longhorn and would like a leather cleaner and conditioner. The gentleman said he needed my vin number. I asked why he needed my vin number? He replied to locate your vehicle in the system to get the correct part you need. I asked him, do you know what I just asked for? He replied, what did you ask for? I told him again, a leather cleaner and conditioner. If you need my vin number to locate that, go ahead and get my vin number. Another gentleman behind the counter said what does she want, the first gentleman said she doesn't know what she wants. An Angel named Ryan in the service department is truly a blessing. I'm a travel Nurse and I have been trying to get in somewhere to get an oil change for almost 2 weeks with no luck. I called the dealership in Salinas and explained my situation that I am not from this area, commute pretty far, and there's a high risk of my car breaking down If I don't get an oil change due to the time restraints of the initial oil change alert. Even though there was no availability, Ryan went above and beyond and made it possible for me to get my oil change. Miguel in service has absolutely zero follow through. They are making me pay for a rental for parts they can't get. Sounds like a parts problem but they are making it my problem. On Wednesday 7/14, I brought in my 2016 Chrysler 300 for service that I knew would take a few days to repair. As soon as I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by a young woman who was behind the counter on the left hand side. This type of customer service assured me that the team is attentive. After she acknowledged me, I notified her that my Fiancé had spoken to Thomas Foster and he was made aware of what the car needed. She politely replied that Thomas would help me as soon as he was done helping another customer. As soon as he was done assisting the customer before me, he did not hesitate to acknowledge that I was there. When I began to explain to him why I was there, Thomas instantly remembered my speaking to fiancé (even saying his name), which reassured me that our needs were going to be met. I am beyond happy and amazed with the results of my vehicle. I received exceptional customer service from Thomas. He exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend others go to him for assistance. This is not a review of my car buying experience: That was fast, efficient, friendly and fun. I got the car I wanted (Chrysler Pacifica), the trim I wanted ..... in fact I got THE car I wanted at the price point I wanted. The sales person was amazing and the sales manager and finance guy were spectacular. Best car-buying experience I've had hands down. This is not about that.This review is regarding the service department. Mind you, Thomas -who has been my main point of contact- has been stellar and responding to all my queries and he has done what he can, ... and what I imagine he CAN do. Which I am sure its frustrating for him and people in the service department. A few months after the purchase, my "auto start on / off" sensor light came on. I called, made an appointment and brought the van in for a checkup. That was 1/2 day lost because they don't take you back home, like some other dealers that have a courtesy shuttle. They told me my sensor was not available but that it was on order. Great. I went and got the car. Two weeks later the sensor came in. They call me, I turn in my car (now a full day loss of work) and pick up the car late in the afternoon. It works. For one day. The sensor light comes on again. I call Thomas, tell him the problem, he asks if I can bring the car again. Sure. I bring the car in for a 3rd day (another 1/2 day loss of work). It was the auxiliary battery that powers the sensors that was bad. How was it that this was not realized during the first visit? They tell me "this is a process of elimination...". Whomever in the marketing team told the service this is a good term and phrase to use on a customer clearly flunked customer engagement class. Anyway, I bring it it in, pay nearly $400 to replace the auxiliary battery (... because of course batteries are no in the bumper-to-bumper extended warranty). I drive the car home. One day later, the sensor is back on. I call Thomas, he wants me to bring the car back again. For the 4th time now. Do they have a loaner car, I ask? They don't do that. He recommended I get a rental from enterprise and deal with the warranty company for a refund. Sure, I have a another day of work to waste in this so why not. Again, this is not against Thomas or the guys at the service dept. They are handcuffed by what they can do and can't do. But why didn't they check the auxiliary battery the first time? Why does the Honda dealership across the street have a courtesy shuttle that drives you back home and picks you up when its time to pick up your car? When you buy a car, the buying experience is great. But what really makes a dealership special? It's the kind of service, thoroughness, professionalism and comfort of service they provide you AFTER you buy the $35,000 car. I service over 1400 apartments in the Salinas Valley. Go ask the guys at service at Linder Honda how many sales and recommendations they got from me over 8 years. It is in the dozens, I imagine. When you get stellar service your word of mouth recommendation is the highest form of currency. And we give it for free. It is unacceptable to me that I am going to visit this service center for a 4th day loss of work within 5 weeks and that this is accepted as normal way of doing business in ANY dealership. This Monday will be my last visit there, period. I am taking my maintenance services elsewhere, even if I have to void my $3,700 extended 'bumper to bumper" warranty. Considering the chain of MY________ dealerships in Salinas, I'm amazed they let one of their branches have this level of service. If you can afford to lose customers, .... I purchased my vehicle from here back in 2018 (I've purchased 2 vehicles total from here so I'm a loyal customer) and called the PARTS department and the guy who answered was so rude. If I could give 0 stars I would. He didn't let me finish my sentence before I asked my question. He asked for my VIN rudely then proceeded to tell me the cost which was not what I was inquiring about, my question was which part was the specific one for my vehicle (there are 2 different types of radiators available for mine, which I obviously wanted to purchase elsewhere because the service here is horrible) he kept saying idk idk man it's what's coming up with your VIN idk. Like he really wanted to not tell me what part goes with a vehicle I purchased from them? I brought my vehicle in for a service as well as my speakers not working correctly. Thomas the service adviser was very courteous and explained the fees as well as the procedures to me. He gave me a time frame of when to expect it. There were no surprises or anything "Hidden". They offer a shuttle ride, which was great, I thought I'd have to pay for a Lyft to get to and from. Their waiting area is clean and they have a coffee bar, which is nice. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, Thomas walked me to the cashier area and explained what the technician found. And they didn't try and make a buck off me they were honest and I'm just blown away by the service department I thought I was looking at an unreasonable charge for what sounded like simple updates and they were honest and upfront about it. I need to share my experience at My Jeep Chrysler Dodge, Salinas CA 93907. I Bought my 2017 2500 Diesel Laramie Crew Cab with Extended Warranty at My Dodge, Salinas. In my opinion the service department has shown unacceptable policies as managed by Don Correll. 1. I had an AC failure in the summer SoCal desert (HOT). I added Freon and upon return to Monterey took the truck to My Dodge, Salinas to have the leak repaired or Warranty reimbursement. Was charged $175 for "It's OK" no repair, no warrantee coverage? I suppose when this reoccurs (No repair was done), I will have to ensure that it occurs in the local Monterey area or cancel my family wedding plans to take care of it. 2. My Dodge mechanic reported "striped Fuel Filter Housing". I bought the truck new; the truck has never seen another service dept. I was required to pay for repair personally. I am guessing factory assembly fault or substandard service last time. Warranty? A striped fitting does not happen driving down the highway, wear and tear etc. In what universe does this make me responsible for any repair. 3.Bought tires at this dealership; tire rotations free. Service order said free. The bill I paid said $20. How can it be? Spent at least 45 Minutes getting refunded; Duh. 4.Bought diesel Fuel at 76. I did not notice the station fuel changed to 100% Bio. I noticed my manual said no more than 20%? bio. I Asked the dealer; the response was, "don't know if it is OK. We will call you when we hear something." I am still "Waiting by the phone before I buy my next gas. I do not want my warranty voided because I did not wait by the phone long enough?" LOL, what warranty? Please note that this dealer is not a "Better Business Bureau" member (No surprise here). Please refer to "The Most Dependable Vehicles In 2020, According To J.D. Power" for Chrysler product service rating (up one from last place). Coincidence? I think not. If you think you might enjoy this treatment yourself, this is your chance; they excel at it. In my optimism, no mechanic other than My Dodge has touched my truck except for smog; this will NOT be the case going forward. Another RAM? not looking good. Best wishes and good luck. The sales department is great. I felt well respected and taken care of however the service department is another story. The service writers are understaffed and the wait is always long. Everything goes through the service manager, its like a "mother may I " system. Don, the service manager is horrible. His main goal is to deny your warranty repair. I have had to deal with him on two issues one he actively made worse in front of me and then said it was not going to be covered by warranty. I do not recommend their service department. read more

He went out of his way to make sure we were good with the selection. They gave me a good trade-in value on my 2004 Nissan Armada with over 225,000 miles on it. Be Warned! I would suggest not going with Delilah from MY Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM if you need help with any vehicle sales. I was torn on whether or not to write this as my experience has been wishy washy with her and I really just wanted my car given my bad experience with Turlock. Long story short, if you enjoy constantly asking the same question and getting the same answer of I'll look into it shortly and get back with you, Delilah is your person to see. So many times (I have plenty of proof), I've had to ask the same question multiple times before getting an answer. Need something quick? Don't expect that from Delilah. She may say she will, but it always takes time with her... sometimes a week or longer. Want someone running your credit without your permission? MY Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is your place for that as well. But... don't ask Delilah for an apology on behalf of the dealer. She might get mad, tell you you're yelling at her, and immediately jump to saying not her fault, she's not apologizing for something she didn't do.... It's called customer service 101. Oh... she also told me that she wasn't going to sell me the car in her rant. Want to not get a fast one pulled on you the last second of the deal? Delilah is the one for that too. I got a text the night my Redeye arrived saying my payment was going to be $50/month cheaper. Mind you from day one we discussed never putting money down on my lease outside of start-ups. When I was given the breakdown for the lease, it included a $1325 security deposit. I verified the night before this would be waved, bringing my total due at signing down to $1775. Well, when she said this $50/month cheaper payment, her and her finance manager left my due at signing at $3,100 (which didn't include the waved security deposit!). After questioning this with the lady signing the paperwork, she brought Delilah in. Initially Delilah tried to spew out a bunch of numbers to get me confused, but I've done so many lease deals that I remained calm and explained that the $3,100 she quoted INCLUDED the security deposit, but that was waved based on my credit (795.14 (Advanced Payment / first months payment) + 32.04 (Total Cap Reduction) + 947.82 (Upfront Charges) +1325 (Security Deposit) = $3100). Take away that deposit and we get back to my $1775 due at signing that I agreed on.... Not me putting down $1325 cash to make up for no security deposit. I told Delilah I wanted this screwup in writing once the dealer refused to do anything for me (not even meet me halfway for their screw up). Delilah waited until my wife and I were outside to say she'd write up an email stating their screw-up for me to give to FCA. She even said in the past 8 days that she was still working on this e-mail. I was just told that she can't write this email and that "Yes. We did nothing wrong intentionally it was a miscommunication and clerical error. I am not authorized to make a statement on behalf of my dealership or on behalf of the manufacture." That in itself is the proof I needed . Oh... the ONLY thing I asked Delilah to do was clean the inside of the car. Nope. 3 hours the next day detailing the inside from how dirty it was. Plus, they never removed the pink splitter during their PDI check-in. One last comment. I've sent a total of 14 people her way or raved about her to show my appreciation (early-on) in hopes of building a good relationship with a local dealer. I'm not 100% certain, but of these 14, at least 8 ppl messaged me saying they went elsewhere b/c Delilah never got back with them. They were all TRX, Hellcat Durango's, Redeye's, and Hellcats. I wonder if her owner would be happy to know they lost out on those sales? Want to know how happy Delilah was that I sent these people her way? Not a single thank you (again, have proof)! read more

My husband and I drove 90 miles to see a truck at MY Jeep Chrylser Dodge Ram. The truck was cool, but too basic for our tastes. We circled the lot, drove a few things, but didn't see anything that met our needs. Needless to say, our salesman, Bruce, went above and beyond to help us find a truck we loved. Rather than let us leave empty handed (or try to sell us some BS), Bruce took us to the back lot to see vehicles that weren't ready for sale. There we found a beautiful 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71. It was dusty and parked behind four other cars, but we could see the gem that it was. We hadn't planned to spend anywhere near the price of the truck, so we bargained hard! But it really felt like Bruce was on our side. Usually dealerships bring out the closer to pretend they "can't go any lower," or the worst tactic of all - "no haggle pricing." Throughout the "sales process," Bruce was respectful and patient. Because he came very close to the price we wanted, we took the truck as-is (without a cleaning/detail, but still under full manufacturer's warranty). After we left, we realized we didn't have the the manual or the second key (runs about $200). We called Bruce and he mailed it right to us. We really appreciated the customer service and special back-lot preview, which is where we found our new truck. We are very happy and it's because of Bruce and his commitment to our satisfaction! Took my Jeep in for a tune up and later found out it needed some transmission work. The first time around it was in the shop for only 2 days maybe, and the next week I took it in for the transmission. (It was supposed to take only about 5 days and took 2 weeks). After picking it up the first time I noticed items that I had left in it were missing. Not thinking much of it, assuming I had forgotten where I put them, I looked for them elsewhere but never found them. I've since remembered a total of 5 items that I'm certain were in the car when I dropped it off, and were no longer in it when I picked it up. I understand that the business is not responsible for lost or stolen items, however, I never would have expected that they would be stolen by employees. Especially when the items were in places that employees had no business being, including the glove box and the trunk. From what I could tell most of the employees are kind hardworking people, but there's at least one thief amongst them, which unfortunately is a deal breaker for me. Save your money go to a shop where the employees won't violate your privacy and take your belongings. Lesson learned, I'll never leave any belongings in my car when I take it to the shop, but I'll also never take it to MY Jeep Chrysler Dodge. read more
