I have been bringing my son to this office since we moved to Arizona in 2021. My son is autistic so we tend to run into issues. Not here! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and take their time with him. If he's ever feeling uncomfortable, they stop and wait for him to relax. He has issues with x-rays, and it doesn't seem to bother them. They take as much time as he needs to get them done. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a great dentist who they can trust their kids with. read more

I can't express my gratitude enough for Dr. Raber and My Kid's Dentist. My 7 year old daughter had four abscess teeth in a matter of a few weeks due to having covid. Dr. Raber completely went out of his way to make sure Kiki was fully taken care of. The entire staff is beyond welcoming and compassionate. The atmosphere is fun for both kids and parents alike. There's no doubt in my mind that Dr. Raber is absolutely the best dentist around! He not only took care of the issues, but his ability to keep my daughter calm was amazing. Disappointed. While the staff is nice seems good intentioned- the price was fair but work that was administered was overly invasive and scary for anyone who was watching. Yes I know I should of done more due diligence. Bottom line is they don't inform you of everything- this is a warning for parents who weren't told this prior to the work being done like we were- they use restraints- if your child wakes up during treatment and they don't allow you in the room your child is screaming wondering who has them tied down and frantically trying to get away and then barging into the room to save your child cause you weren't allow to be by their side in the first place. So in the end- the result is crappy work, trauma, and an awful experience for both dentist and parent. These points stated and the turn and burn industry we felt from our experience is something to question in this practice. read more

Dr. Brown and his staff are amazing! We have a pleasant experience every time we go. When my quiet, shy 6 year old asks to go to the dentist, that says something!!! This office is extremely unprofessional when it comes to the way they handle insurance and payments. My wife has had three horrible experiences with their office staff. In two separate instances we were called by the office telling us that they accepted our insurance only to find out that wasn't true when my wife got there. In one case, she canceled her appointment at another dentist because she was excited about the new Chino Valley location. Needless to say, they didn't accept our insurance and we had to reschedule again with our normal dentist. Vowing we'd never go back, our toddler has a cavity and we were referred to this office again for pediatric care. We were assured that because it was a referral that our insurance would cover the cost. The office told my wife on the phone that it would be a $55 office visit and that would include the cleaning (which we could get for free at the normal dentist). My wife shows up on time today, waited for 50 mins and was seen for less than 5 and was told what we already knew (that our son had a cavity). The lady at the desk proceeded to tell my wife that we needed to pay $820 for the cavity treatment and that we owed half today! When my wife said that she wasn't going to schedule anything because that didn't seem right the staff became openly degrading and disrespectful. Referral or otherwise we won't be back to this dentist unless their front end practices change. It's truly a shame that such a well recommended dentist has poor service working for him. read more

First appt: show up with 3 kids ready to go. Was told that they no longer take our insurance so after waiting for 30 mins we leave. 6 months later we get a phone call from My Kids Dentist telling us they now accept our insurance. We make appts, cancel appts with other dentist, and excitedly bring 4 kids now to see the dentist here. After walking in and waiting we were once again told, "Sorry there was a mistake. We actually don't take this insurance." There was a misunderstanding by their front office staff was what we were told. So fast forward to today when our normal dentist refers us to My Kids for our 2 year old bc of a tiny cavity. I actually dreaded this appt bc of our past experience arriving and then being told "nevermind...." We pay $55 for a cleaning AND exam. We arrive at 8 for our appt. Wait until 8:45 to be seen. Sit on the chair for a total of 2 mins while the tooth in question is examined. The dentist says he wants to have it filled and the appt is over. They then walk me out and give me all the totals--which is high bc our insurance doesn't cover this dentist and then when I ask when he will get a cleaning (bc I paid $55 for exam AND cleaning) they said that the $55 doesn't actually include a cleaning. So that's that. $55 to spend more time in a waiting room than anything else. Needless to say we will not be back which is so incredibly sad bc Dr. Raber and Dr. Brown are amazing dentists. It's just tragic they have poorly trained front desk workers who obviously can't get their stories straight on what insurance is accepted or what exams actually cover. Bummer. read more

Dr Brown is the Best! I love My Kids Dentist! My 7 year-old just had two molars pulled by Dr Brown for overcrowding, I have to say it was a much better experience than expected. In fact, shortly after when I told both of my boys ages 6 and 7, that they had a dentist appointment for a cleaning they were excited. I was surprised that my 7 year old was happy to go back after just having teeth pulled, he said I like the dentist mom. My 6 year-old told me he likes going to the dentist because Dr Brown is funny. In fact, the entire staff is Amazing and they always take the extra time to talk to my boys about superhero's and other fun stuff. Can't say enough good things, and highly recommend this office. read more

Not sure where to start ! I can't express how much I love and appreciate Dr. Brown. We have been going to see him since 2015. He is such a kind, caring person and always goes the extra mile. One day I was looking at my daughter's teeth and noticed her lip was tied, I called his office in a panic and they got me in that day. He made me feel so much better about it, and let me know what he would do if it was his child. Dr. Brown and his staff has always made us feel very comfortable. My daughter loves going, and always asks when we are going back. I would recommended him to everyone if your looking for a good kids dentist. He's the 1 !! Great place!! I have a kid with sensory issues. Lights, sounds, brushing all freak him out and the staff was incredible. There was no crying during our visit and my little one talked about it all day long. Highly recommend. read more

He was so natural with our 3 year old and our 1 year old, I could see he genuinely likes kids. His entire office is designed with kids in mind, from the "tree fort" in the waiting room, to the open room concept in the cleaning area so that no one is "alone" and scared, to the no cavity club incentive program as you walk out. ...Now, if I could talk him into seeing my husband and me! read more

Horrible. Awful. They made my son hate the dentist. He was afraid to get his first cleaning ever and so they held him down and did it anyway. He screamed the entire time and cried like he was being tortured. These people are not kid friendly. Then they would not work with me on a treatment plan. The doctor had different ideas than me and would not even consider my requests. If your kid has a phobia of the dentist this place will make it worse. And if your kid does not have a phobia this place will give him one. Thank goodness I found KidZaam. KidZaam made him forget his fears and now (two years after the horrible terrifying experience at My Kids' Dentist) he asks me to take him to his dentist because he loves KidZaam. read more
