First of all, I have ordered the food from this place to be delivered to my place a couple of times but never realize the exact location until yesterday. It was a pretty cold night and the restaurant was packed. What I liked about My Lan Vietnamese Kitchen was the brightness and the open concept they adopt, not to mention all the employees were very helpful and friendly. Almost all tables were occupied by people of different cultures, assuring me that the food served here is very likable and enjoyed by many people. The menu was varied and the price is very reasonable. When I ordered the combination pho, apparently it comes with a rib, a bone with full of meat, which was only available when you dine-in. It was my first time at My Lan and it seemed very authentic. I got the tofu spring rolls and the tofu banh mi. I do wish the spring rolls used non-shredded lettuce and had some other vegetables like carrots in them. I did enjoy the peanut sauce a lot though. The banh mi was massive and the mayo sauce used with the pickled carrots was excellent. There was a good amount of tofu in it. The tofu itself would have been better if it was finished off with some kind of sauce. I also wish they had a vegetarian broth option for pho since their pho seemed very popular. I'm Viet, and I truly love supporting restaurants that promote authentic Vietnamese food here in DFW. That's why this experience was disappointing. Also, don't expect this location to be like the Haltom City location. A relative of mine was told she needed to come into the store to order because the worker couldn't understand her Vietnamese pronunciation of the menu items -- even though the dishes are written in Vietnamese at a Vietnamese restaurant. For example, "Cơm Thịt Nướng" is a very common and widely understood dish. Whether someone is from North or South Vietnam, it's a standard menu item. It was surprising to hear that a Vietnamese customer couldn't place a phone order due to pronunciation. Additionally, when my relative asked questions about other Vietnamese dishes on the menu, those questions were dismissed rather than clarified. I later called to confirm what happened, and the response was still dismissive. Instead of clarifying politely, the worker insisted that the issue was her pronunciation, even though the menu items are standard Vietnamese dishes. That interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary. This was especially disappointing to experience at a Vietnamese restaurant, where customers should feel understood and welcomed when ordering traditional dishes. When I visited in person, I learned from the Vietnamese staff that the restaurant had recently been sold to a new non-Vietnamese owner. I fully respect and appreciate anyone who wants to support and promote Vietnamese culture and cuisine. However, customers who are familiar with the food should feel respected -- not corrected or brushed off. Ambiance was clean/nice, and the food has always been good. This is actually the only pho spot I know in the DFW area that offers zoodles instead of rice noodles, and I love that they cater to different dietary needs. I got the combination pho ($14) and egg roll($9). Egg rolls were crispy but did not have much flavor. The fish sauce was also not to flavorful compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. The pho was also quite meh, it did have a beef flavor but there was no savory umami taste. The meats itself were quite tender. The inside is very modern and upscale. Staff were friendly. She suggested the strawberry banana smoothie, but I'm not a huge fan of that combo so I went with strawberry mango and added regular boba. Came in a cute cup and it was refreshing. My first Vietnamese restaurant experience was my land in Halton city, a few years later came My Lan Bistro and Alliance, and now My LAN in Colleyville. When I say they have the best Vietnamese food in the area I mean, and we have been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the Tarrant county area. Our favorite appetizer is the egg rolls for entrees Pho soup, it's big it's meaty with lots of broth and noodles., pork noodle bowl is another favorite. It has plenty of meat Noodles lettuce on the bottom, sprinkled with pickled carrot and cucumbers. They also have delicious fried rice with various meats and Korean barbecue is one of the best I've ever eaten. There's really nothing on the menu that's subpar. I ended up getting a pork banh mi and a kid's steak vermicelli dish. (i really hate how they discriminate adults from getting a kid's dish... sometimes i'm not that hungry and want a smaller portion. lol) Anyways, both the banh mi and the vermicelli were good. Out of the two, the banh mi was way better in my opinion. I know i got the kid's vermicelli dish, but it was just noodles and pieces of steak. it was simple, but definitely hit the spot with the fish sauce. i can't comment about the service, since i took the food to go. I've been to the original off of Belknap most of my life. But it's a bit of a drive now that I live in Bedford. I was excited to see that they opened a cafe in Colleyville and had to check it out. I've been twice now. The pho is good, I've had the seafood and beef combination. The meat is always delicious, but I can never finish my meal! And I don't enjoy reheated pho. So I tend to end up leaving a lot behind. What keeps me coming back most are the eggrolls. I can't find them like this anywhere! I love that they're served with all the veggies so you can wrap them up and dip them in the delicious fish sauce. So delicious! A typical meal for 2, plus egg rolls, and a 20% tip runs about $50. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always great. My only complaint is that the chairs are soooo uncomfortable. They're very narrow and put pressure on your hips. While the aesthetics is beautiful, they are not great for sitting for more than 15 mins! read more

We had the spring roll wrap (rice paper) in it's own bag just there with the contents of the spring rolls, minus shrimp in another bag! We now have to roll our own spring rolls?? We enjoy My Lan and their service, but this is not how we expect our order. We might as well buy our own rice paper and make our own if this is how My Lan intends to package their spring rolls. We were seated quickly, and the waitress recommended their Vietnamese fried egg rolls. They did not disappoint! You can tell they're handmade-crispy outside and delicious inside, with fresh veggies and herbs that really enhance the flavor. We also ordered the regular pho combo and a cold vermicelli dish. I met here for lunch with 3 other friends. Two of us arrived together. The place is a bit hidden. When we walked in, it smelled delicious. The place isn't overly large and there were about 5-7 other people dinning there. We were not greeted. We thought it was an order at counter place but since 1/2 Our part was missing we sat down. We were quickly greeted and let her know that we were waiting for 2 other people. She took my drink order and quickly left without waiting for friend's order. Our 2 friends showed up separately. It was about a 10 min wait before our party was there. We were asked 3x if we were ready to order prior to our group being there. When the 4th person arrived, she immediately asked us if we were ready. We said no and that we needed a minute. Servers came 3x within about 8 minutes and asked if we were ready. We were chatting and looking at menu. The restaurant was not full. Waitress was clearly annoyed and appeared to be talking about us. She said when your menus are closed I will come back. We ordered shrimp spring rolls. They were only fair. They lacked flavor. They needed salt maybe. I order steak pho with rare meat. It was pretty good. Came with mint, sprouts, jalapeño. She brought 2 trays of veggies for my friend's meal that they were sharing. We were all picking at sprouts, cucumbers and then she came to the table and just removed one and said nothing. My mom has been taking me to my lan ever since I was a kid. The original location is in Haltom city, the others are in alliance and colleyville. I was out in the area so I wanted to stop by for late lunch Thursday around 3:40pm with a friend. We were like the only customers there. The front door is heavy. There is ample natural lighting that brightens up the place against the white accents. It was our first meal of the day and I just finished working out and walking so I was ready to EAT. We started off with crispy egg rolls. I like to wrap it with some fresh lettuce and dip it in the umami fish sauce. I'm hungry just thinking about it again . I wanted to eat something like bun thit nuong but wanted pho and also the lat na. I compromised and decided to get bánh mì thịt nướng which is the grilled pork sandwich and split with my friend. The owner said they were trying something different with the bread at the time and I thought it was good. But tbh I like Big Bowl's bánh mì in terms of flavor. The bánh mì didn't satisfy my craving for thit nướng as I would've liked. The baby pho with meat balls was good enough for me and hit the spot. Then by that time I was too full to even eat my lat na. I did take a small bite and thought it was okay. Most was soggy because they brought all of the food almost together at the same time. I ended up bringing it home for my boyfriend :P he likes this stuff and thought it tasted fine. Guess I'm more picky. This place is incredible! Amazing food for an amazing price and amazing amount. For almost $11 for a bowl of pho, even after finishing some of it, it still overflowed in the to-go container. We don't usually frequent restaurants more than once but last night was our second time going. Hard to find gems like this in places outside of Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, etc. The service is great every time and the entire staff is very sweet. The restaurant is super clean and the interior is pretty nice. Disappointment. They made our order wrong even with the order being correct. We called back and they argued with us about the order. They are saying that we can take out the bean sprouts. And they just offered an apology without correcting the order. No comp. They argued that they make mistakes so. They said they added beansprouts because they didn't know it was an allergy. So if you go here they do not care about food allergies. I have never known a business to be so unsat about a customers food preference.
