OK, so I'm a little bummed. When I come to town to visit family I generally come over here cause it's close to my mom's house. It's easy to park out front. And generally, I can walk in and have services without an appointment - usually a 10 or 15 minute wait. When it was my turn, I was seated at the pedicure tub bath. The same person did my manicure and pedicure. I do not do gel anymore. I just did a regular manicure and pedicure and not even a fancy one just the standard ones. The service was OK. One of the issues I have is that I felt the tech kept ridiculing my short nails and just made a weird comment about how short they are and a face when she was filing them and looking at me, which was very disappointing. I don't have long nails I don't wear long nails I don't like them. I only come into treat myself with maybe a little color and clean up my cuticles, etc. The one thing that does bother me about this location is that they separately do the services instead of doing them at the same time. So I'm there even longer than I want to be. Most places I do go to have technicians that do the pedicure and somebody does the manicure at the same time off to the side. Imagine imagine how many more services you could provide if you sped this up a little bit. Prices seem reasonable. I didn't necessary find this visit, especially clean. I observed the technician wiping the clippers and another tool with a cotton pad soaked in alcohol. I don't know if the actual tools were sanitized in between visits. It doesn't sit right with me. The next time I do come back I probably will go somewhere else and try it a different nail salon. The non-gel for me lasts quite a while. In fact I've had it last almost as long as an actual gel manicure/pedicure, but she kept making comments about oh it's not going to last or whatever. As a first-time walk-in customer, my experience overall was positive. There was practically no wait time to be seen. Being unfamiliar with the process, I found the service brochure a bit over-complicated, but it was still easy to pick basic services and a nail shade. The nail technician was friendly and thorough, and the whole process took about an hour. When I arrived, my nails looked terrible, but when I left, I couldn't have been more pleased. They do a good job. However, watch your charges, I have been overcharged for twice now. Example, for a manicure with a buff, I was charged $10 dollars for the buff in addition to the charge for a manicure. My daughter was only charged $5 dollars for the buff so I asked the guy at the front desk what the charge was supposed to be and he said $5. It happened on another day with being overcharged as well. Thin, very very thin and you can see fill lines... when expressing my concern my hand was squeezed, I was told it was the the last techs fault she couldn't file... I then explained I would need to know the type of oil she was using on my hands they were starting to itch, as it was possibly something I could be allergic to, she expressed it did not matter as she poured coconut oil on my hands... I expressed I am very allergic to coconut, she then sprayed my hands with alcohol and told me to go wash them! Explained I was done... as I paid I expressed my concerns and was verbally assaulted by a very young woman, she appeared to be in her very early teens and employed as a technician... unless you're looking to be accosted and disappointed in services do not risk it! read more

The first time I came here to have a dip manicure a year or so ago, I was pleasantly surprised. I went with my boyfriends mom because this is where she and our neighbors go. Bryan did my nails then and he did such an amazing job, I got so many compliments. We've been back since for pedicures, last time we got the coconut one and it was AMAZING. They really took their time and it felt wonderful. I just went back this afternoon to get another dip manicure and made sure to ask for Bryan. He came up with a really fun idea for fall and it turned out so nice! I love how cute they are and he does such a good job on the shape! I've had fabulous pedicures here but I didn't know if they did eyebrow waxing. I called and a gentleman told me yes they did eyebrow waxing did I want an appointment? I said yes is there anyway I could get one for today he said 330 is good, I said great! When I got there I did not have to wait long and then I was taken to a private room with a firm couch style bed covered in towels it was very comfortable. Then Jennifer came in and after I showed her the picture on my phone of what I like, she said let's see what I can do and she started to do my waxing. It is so hard to find someone who does a great pedicure. Yesterday I went in to my nail spa and Kim was my specialist. She was awesome! Great massages, great nail and cuticle attention, and great painting! The spa itself was also very clean and updated with new massage chairs the best ones I've ever sat in . very nice. I have been coming here for years and the last 2 times out of 3 I have had horrible experiences. I came on a Sunday not realizing they opened at 10 and it was 9 AM. So when I walked in, they said they did not open till 10. I said OK I can come back and they said no you can stay. Then the person who said that was really rude to me, then I had made an appointment on a given day at a given time I show up and they said oh can you come back in an hour? So what's the point of making an appointment? I feel like salons are not very good about keeping appointments or having a good time management about appointments. Very disappointing. read more

This is a great way to treat your legs and pretty your toes when you can't reach them any more. A massage once a month is heavenly, and the hot towels make things even better. David alerted me to possible infection in an ingrown nail and did not wish to put color on until a doctor had checked it out. I took his advice. I went over to this place, perhaps my sixth time. At first I liked them, but after the third time or so I noticed that I was always being rushed. I was given colors right before they were ready to do my nails so I didn't have more than a minute or so to look at them. This happened twice, so today I got there a half hour early and asked if I could see the colors. Brian just told me to go sit down. I still waited until I could see when he would have a chance and he ignored me all together. Last time I was there, he actually pushed me out of his way. I am feeling incredibly let down by this place. I've been here multiple times over the duration of 4 years, but my last 2 visits have been less than enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, the staff is friendly, but the quality of work has decreased immensely. After asking the nail tech to redo my nails 2 times, they still turned out like this. I understand that a French manicure is more time consuming than a traditional one, but that's why the price is $10 more expensive... When you pay $55 plus a 20% tip for a mani/pedi you just expect your toenails to be clipped and filed as requested along with the basic treatment. I was a "walk in" and new in town so I didn't know what to expect. Vivian was polite and it was nice to have a nail tech who spoke fluent English (so many of them don't). Spa was clean, comfortable and I was so glad the huge TV on the wall was turned off. Nothing like having to watch some stupid TV show when your trying to relax, right? Very cool the TV was off. I have to say - the manicure I received was the best I've ever had. Ever get those paint jobs where they seem to paint only the middle of the nail? NOT here! My nails look perfect and still do over a week later. They actually look so good my step mom thought they were fake! The pedicure was very relaxing. I usually don't like the massage because they tend to be so rough it hurts my shins but not here. The hot rocks... they ROCKED! and the massage was light to the touch...Perfect. I usually have my feet wrapped in paraffin wax, but I didn't remember seeing it on the "menu". I was disappointed in the guy that did my nails ! I had a full set put on, was told that if I was going to keep the tips a little bit longer that it would be five dollars more than the $35 I was told for a full set, I said yeah I guess so which didn't end up very long anyway. The only thing the guy talked about was how much each thing was gonna cost more and when I asked before he painted my nails if I was gonna be able to scrub my hands his answer was no I couldn't do that which I've never in over 10 years been told I couldn't do that that's just weird. WARNING: My Nail Spa in Sun City West doesn't put their customers first and doesn't put a priority on sanitation. Find another nail shop to trust with quality work and your health. Today, I asked for a re-polish of my fingernails and toenails. The technician, Sally, had performed my manicure and pedicure only 8-days ago and the polish was already chipping off. The shop was not happy with my request and said I would have to pay for the work again. My previous manicure and pedicure before this lasted for almost 2-months so only 8-days was unacceptable. I did notice that Sally took a shortcut by skipping the final rinse and sprayed alcohol on my pedicure then did the same to my nails instead of having me wash my hands in order to remove oils and lotions. She also wore the same gloves on me that she used to help a lady with her pedicure, even assisting her with putting on her shoes with the same gloves. I asked for the Manager and explained why I asked for a complimentary re-polish she said "I can't do anything for you because I don't know how to solve the problem." She said that the owner's permission would be needed. My request was very simple, one a manager should be able to take care of immediately. She said that they only have a 3-day policy for a re-polish. The manager and technicians spoke in their native language throughout it all and looked at me with daggers in their eyes. This shop appears to make up their own rules favoring them and doesn't display any signage about a 3-day policy to correct poor workmanship. When I had my manicure and pedicure the Manager and Sally were so nice to me, I felt appreciated for bringing my business to them. I tipped well and fully expected to become a return customer - not now they have revealed their true colors. The all mighty dollar over quality, fairness and sanitation. As I walked outside the shop a customer who had listened to the entire event said "I feel bad for you and I'm never coming back here again either."
