I found this place through Yelp, of course desperately trying to find a place to do a last minute bikini wax and they were the only ones that were open until 7:00PM on a Friday night. Hala did my wax for me and she did a really good job! I've been to quite a few places and she did it really quick and cleaned it up well and for a decent price $35.00! For a full wax people are looking to charge anywhere between $50-$70. So it's a steal and a close to home makes it more of a plus. Ever since, I have been coming here for my eyebrow threadings, $8.00. She cleans it up really well and I like how she does it a little at a time and have you look at it to see if you like it or if she should go thinner and what not. First off, I've probably only left one review on yelp all the years I've used it.. But I just ha to for Perfect Brows. Praise the lord for this salon! I'm new to California and I was dreading finding a salon to have my eyebrows done. So, I went somewhere to get them threaded and it was literally a nightmare. The woman messed up my brows so much! Seriously, one arch WAY higher than the other, also a thicker than the other brow. They didn't even look like my natural brows anymore! I was furious. Obviously never going back. Fast forward three months, I literally had to wait that long for my eyebrows to grow back! :( I was very very skeptical about finding ANOTHER salon to go to. Perfect Brows had great reviews on yelp, so I decided to give it a shot. First, it's so conveniently located, right on a side street on 2nd street in Long Beach. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Malti and sat down. I told her I had botched job from a different salon and I was terrified to get them done again, but I'm going to a wedding next week and didn't want caterpillars on my face! We looked at my brows and talked about the mistakes the previous woman made. She then went ahead and did some magic on my face! Not only did she fix my brows perfectly; they're now EVEN and look like my natural brow. Which is AWESOME! We joked about how much arch I wanted to have.. from soft to angry arches! ..I chose somewhere in between soft a sassy arches. Malti is very nice and sweet, she even shared horror stories from her own experiences of having her eyebrows threaded. Overall, my experience was fantastic. I will most definitely be back! In case you're wondering, brows here are $9, plus tip. It's a little more than a lot of other places I've seen around the area, but I don't mind the extra dollars. It's DEFINITELY worth it. At the end, Malti gave me a punch card with her name on it and her work schedule, so I can always come back for her chair (She's there Sun/Mon only). I definitely recommend this salon to anyone. I'm really disappointed because I go to My Perfect Brows all of the time and always have an excellent job done by anyone working. Today there seemed to be a new lady, i'm not sure what her name was and I had asked for a simple clean up on my brows and to be careful with my eyelash extensions. Instead, she not only thinned out my eyebrows completely, but she also threaded my eyelashes off that I had gotten done not too long ago. It's very frustrating to me that what I had asked of had not been done and now I have lost my natural eyelashes as well underneath my extensions. read more

I just left this place :( I read all the yelp reviews and decided to go get my brows done since they had such great ratings and were so affordable. However, if I could get my 9$ back I would. I thought the place was a legit salon IT IS NOT ! It is a small hole in the wall threading salon with nice decor. I thought the girl could give me nice natural full brows since she herself had very full brows. She looked at me and said just a clean up and a trim. My brows are now so thin that If I took anything off of them I would look like a CHOLA. This is the last time I skimp on my brows and do not go to ZVJ brow studio in Pasadena. Save your self the 10 dollars ladies if you are truly particular about your brows THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Took my mom in because we wanted to get Henna eyebrows done for her because she had very little and light colored eyebrows. They turned out way too thick! My mom was NOT happy with them and I had to look up a video of how to remove the henna because it was just too dark and also very, VERY sloppy. There are parts of her eyebrows at the ends that stained her skin that was not part of her eyebrows! They didnt even prep her skin before application so it would not stain her skin! Its disappointing because we live in Cerritos and drove to Long Beach because we read good reviews, honestly not worth it. We regret going there such a waste of money and time! read more

I've gone here 5 times and 2 times Hala did my brows, chin, and lip and it was awful. I have a huge red scratches on my chin and she missed half the hairs on one eyebrow. I HATE coming home from threading and having to FINISH the job myself. I'm really dissappointed by her work. But I really enjoyed the two other woman who have worked on me, they were professional and really kind. I will be calling before hand from now on and NOT going to Hala. I am a Perfect Brows fan! My friends and I came in around 10:30 AM on a Sunday. There was no one at the front desk, but we only waited for approximately 10 minutes after putting our names down on the service list. We thought that our wait was going to be much longer because the list was at least 6 names long. I was taken care of by Malti, who I highly recommend! It was my first time doing ANYTHING to my eyebrows. I had Malti thread my eyebrows and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was gentle, social, and welcoming. Malti payed attention to every detail and walked me every step of the way! Malti is only available on Sunday's and Monday's I believe. Thank you so much for the great service! We come here regularly on Sundays to see Malti. The wait is never more than 15 minutes, the threading is a bit painful but it goes by quickly & the results are great! She always remembers us & the conversation during the threading seems to make the process go by faster & it distracts you from the pain. I normally come here and get my eyebrows threaded (by malti) but today I went in and got a wax (by puja the owner) and this was the best Brazilian I've ever got. And the pricing was great. Malti never over does my brows and takes into account exactly how you'd like them to be and going in regularly had made my shape and over all brow grow in so much better and my moms also. Now for the wax. They use soft wax (wax + strip) which I like better because it's faster overall and grabs the hair better and you get a cleaner result. I then went to another threading place a few weeks late in hopes of salvaging them, it was better but still not what I wanted. Now back in Long Beach, I found out about this place after looking up eyebrow places on Yelp and based off the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I do not regret it one bit. They definitely live up to their name. I came in and was taken care of right away. As others have said, the place in clean and well organized. Rachana was the one who did my eyebrows and she did an amazing job. I came in saying I just wanted a cleaning and she noticed how they were uneven. Ive always had a good experience here, my brows r pretty thin as is so I don't have to keep up on them as often. With that being said today I came in expecting to have the same experience as usual. Unfortunately I'm very unhappy with the threading job I received. My shape is way off and uneven. My brows were left thinner and shaped round witch I hate and one brow is longer and thicker than the other. I've been here a few times. I just went to see Swati again my last time. Gonna stick with her. She's really precise and gentle. The other gals don't listen to what I ask for. One did a good job, if you want thin eyebrows. The other completely left one eyebrow bigger than the other, even after I asked her to correct it. Swati's working on fixing it slowly because my left eyebrow is pretty thin now. :/ Prices are a little more than normal for threading but it's much closer to my home than my usual place in Artesia. read more

It was my first time at this eyebrow threading shop, the lady who was stationed on the first left did my eyebrows and lip did them in such a rush. I don't know if they move to different stations everyday but she didn't just rush but also left me bleeding on my eyebrows and lip. now I have several scars!!
