They have the option to talk with you over the phone or via text, and both ways proved very helpful. He later had to go on break and let me know another person would be finishing up the transaction. He informed his coworker the details of our transaction and that we already paid. When he got back from break, he again checked on us and our order. He explained their printer got stuck and only 30 of 40 printed. He gave us a couple of options on how to proceed--- if we would like a partial refund or if we wanted to wait for them to fix the printer and reprint. We opt for the partial refund. I waited for them to come take a cheap item I needed out of the locked cages (that every item is in now), and when they did, instead of handing me the 5 dollar item, they insisted that they would take it up to the front where it would be waiting for me. After waiting in a long line, my item was not at the front.. So I just checked out without it. As I was leaving, an employee came up to me with the item I needed and acted like I was being an inconvenience. I went back and purchased the item only to find out that I missed out on a discount that I would have gotten if I'd have purchased it with my other items. I couldn't care less about the discount - ha, but it's just the principle of the situation and how the employees I dealt with could obviously care less. And this has been a re-occurring vibe at this store. Not to mention that the store's inventory has not been very great either.. ALTHOUGH, it is true that you never-ever know what people might be dealing with in their lives... --which is why I gave a 2 star rating instead of 1 star.

Open for more than a century along Route 66, it was first called the South Pasadena Pharmacy in 1915, then the Raymond Pharmacy in the 20's and 30's. This mom & pop shop finally found its permanent name in the early 40's, which brings us to the Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda Fountain, still open today in 2026. I move around a lot so I've delt with many different pharmacies. My experience with MPOC has been by FAR the ABSOLUTE worst. They frequently have phone issues and can't hear anything I am saying so I need to call back several times until they've fixed the problem. This is not ok for an on-call pharmacy it needs to be addressed. They continuously give delivery dates for meds and do not show up, so I call and a different staff member says they have no record of my delivery order, this repeats several times until I get my meds. I've seen others mention this in their reviews but I thought there was no way that would happen to me, I was wrong. Each month I DREAD having to deal with this company. I finally made the right choice and asked them to transfer me to a different pharmacy and remove me from their system. Took 2 weeks for the other pharmacy to receive my meds because again, MPOC didn't do what they were supposed to do. Save yourself heartache and anxiety do not go here. I've gone into withdrawal twice while dealing with them due to meds being multiple days late. read more

This is by far the best pharmacy I've been to, and I've been to many! My Pharmacist On Call and its staff are all exceptionally polite, welcoming and genuinely caring people. They go aabove and beyond to accommodate their patient's needs and comfort level. Its compatible low prices and same day door delivery is a huge plus!! Can't beat that. I am a new patient and looking forward to continuing. I will never go anywhere else. I regret all of the hours I wasted standing in long lines and tolerating substandard treatment at the major pharmacies. Located in Whittier California, My Pharmacist On Call Pharmacy is a step ahead of the game. They offer a variety of services, including same day delivery of prescriptions, yep that's right, no more waiting in long lines when you come to this pharmacy. Additionally, if you do enjoy stoping in for your medication, you will get the chance to meet the wonderful staff members, who truly know how to treat their patients.
