They'd even say, "your husband's are ready, too." I'm not sure I've ever had to wait for help. They are all very nice, but naturally so, like you're a long-time friend coming in, not just a customer. There is a very laid-back vibe, which I so appreciate. It is the opposite of a giant conglomerate. The pharmacists are thoughtful, kind, and knowledgable. Getting my vaccinations there is a night and day different experience from CVS, etc. And they've also got your back when the insurance company is *$%!ing with you. I recently moved from going to CVS all the time to going to Robertson Specialty Pharmacy, and what a breath of fresh air it was! Robertson feels like a high-end, customized oasis, unlike the hectic, understaffed CVS stores I've seen to where lines go on forever, prescriptions are sometimes late or out of stock, and the personnel always appears rushed and useless. The staff here is incredibly courteous, knowledgable, and really takes the time to explain things, answer concerns, and give personalized advise on everything from specialty medications to homeopathic solutions. The compounding services they offer are the best, and the whole establishment is clean, modern, and efficient. You won't have to wait forever or play phone tag like you do at CVS. They also have good prices, especially for custom orders, and they make dealing with insurance easy. If you're sick of the impersonal grind of giant chains, give Robertson a try. Dec. 7, 2022 Exceptional COVID Testing I have been here recently twice before and I should have written a five star review prior. The COVID testing here is really terrific. The incredible associate Montsy has tested me twice now. She is very professional and is great at her job. Both times I just pulled up to the front parking area and called them to let them know I wanted the COVID test. The paperwork is quick and you get your choice of two different tests. The results were ready in less than 15 minutes. I paid $50 as my free COVID quick results can only be used once every two months. I didn't pay anything the last time I was here and as a bonus they gave me free COVID at home tests. I really like this place and Montsy makes the experience even better. I came in for a rapid covid test and forgot to take my seizure medicine in the morning and had an aura when I got here and Bob, the manager was kind enough to provide me with my seizure medication and water before I had my full blown seizure. I went here for a PCR test after I had symptoms and a neg rapid test. I paid $220 and got a negative result in 2 hours. In 4 days 4 people around me got sick at the same time and tested positive. I'm wondering if this pharmacy even ran a test or what. What is the probability that all 4 of these people got infected some other way at the same time. Very low. Is it even possible to get a PCR result from a family pharmacy in 2 hours. Spent this need to be sent to a lab to isolate the genetic material. EVERYONES BANKING ON THESE TESTS. Something fishy going on with this pharmacy. I went to a new GI doctor in Westlake Village and was seen by his nurse practitioner, an Anastasia Andrew. After a strange consultation with her, she prescribed me two drugs for irritable bowel syndrome, which I don't have. One of them she said she was sending to a "special" pharmacy in Los Angeles because they were good at getting prescriptions filled that normally get rejected by insurance companies. That was my first clue that something was not right. She never told me the name of the drug, just that it was an antibiotic that passes through the system without being absorbed by the body. But why did I need an antibiotic in the first place??? A few days later I get a call from the pharmacy that the drug is ready for pickup but in the meantime I get an approval from Health Net, an insurance that I canceled some 8 years ago. Not only that, I gave the doctor's office a completely different insurance to use, so why was this pharmacy getting an approval through HealthNet? I ended up speaking to the Pharmacist, Rob or Bob or something, who said that he does all the work for the doctors by filling out the paperwork to get drugs pre-approved. I asked him where he got the information to put on the form and I could tell he was getting nervous with the questions I was asking. He said he used ICD-10 codes to get the approvals so I asked him which ICD-10 code he used and where he got it. He said he'd have to look it up, but he guessed he got it just looking at the drug....it's used for irritable bowel syndrome. I told him I didn't have Irritable bowel syndrome. He asked if I had diarrhea and constipation and I told him no. He then said that was odd, because it was a drug for IBS and he didn't know why she ordered it then. So I asked him if he made up an ICD-10 code that wasn't applicable to me just to get it approved by my insurance. That's when he started changing the subject and getting really nervous. I ended up asking him to email me a copy of the prescription that the doctor sent him and a copy of the pre-approval form he sent to my insurance. He said he would, but he's never done it. I told him if I didn't get it I'd be reporting him to the Pharmacy Board. He got all upset and told me that if I did that, the Board would come in and tear up his pharmacy with an investigation. I asked him how he knew that...has he been investigated before? He said no. When I sent him a reminder email that he still hadn't sent me the documentation I had asked for, he replied "that the prescription was an oral prescription" (I don't know why he said that, and to please stop harassing him. Harassing him????? I have a right to my medical records....how is asking for it harassing him? Why is he so paranoid? Does he have something to be afraid of the Pharmacy Board finding out? I asked him at one point if he gets kickbacks from the doctor's office for them sending their prescriptions there. He acted all offended. But think about it, what kind of doctor sends a prescription 35 miles away to a pharmacy that's not located near neither the doctor's office or me? The whole situation is very fishy and I hope the Pharmacy Board figures it all out. Oh, he also accepted a prescription from a nurse practitioner, whose name doesn't appear on the prescription as is required by law.
