You're probably not supposed to but I often park in complex across street but street parking is easier. There's a $1 fee for credit so bring cash if that's a concern. My only negative is that the takeout containers are just open cardboard sort of bowls with no lid, and for a place with no seating where people are meant to take their food with them, this makes the food difficult and messy to transport. Regular takeout containers would be much more helpful. I will also say that $19 is a lot for a takeout burger (with tax and tip) however good that burger was. Definitely a splurge for me.

Served with a surprisingly crisp (for a food truck on a rather hot day) field green salad dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Unlike the greasy roach coaches of my youth, service was impeccable and well deserving of their appearance on Food Network. I found them at the Tuesday Food Truck Gathering in La Mesa and spotted them in across the street from South Park Abbey not too long ago. Everything but the pastor is made in the truck and its super popular among locals. They were nice enough to cover the tacos in foil to keep them warm when we went to find the bathroom real quick (paying only) The tripas taco is the best I've had. Slight crisp with some gumminess, it's quite clean and not heavy, perfect with onion and cilantro. Their red sauce is quite spicy btw, so don't pour it over your taco. The pastor didn't feel heavy but was oily and the meat was tender too with adequate flavor, not salty or too seasoned. They were both seasoned but not heavy on the stomach. And best of all, corn tortillas!! The mulita was on the oily side, had a little bit of a crust but definitely will make you food coma. No cheese stretch. Overall, great taco place :) not too heavy.
