It was extremely tough and difficult to cut and chew. I ended up leaving almost the entire entrée on my plate because I simply couldn't enjoy it. My husband and I both commented that it didn't have the tenderness or delicate texture we normally associate with veal. True veal should be tender, fine-grained, and easy to cut with a fork, but this was quite the opposite. Based on this experience, I would not order another meat entrée from this restaurant. It's unfortunate because the ravioli showed that the kitchen is capable of preparing excellent food.
