In the past few years I've purchased 3 RV s from Pete's RVs in Conn and Ma. Class A Jayco and 2…read moreBrinkleys. In each case I've had no problems with sales reps or service. Sure you will always have some issues with RVs but they were always there to solve some of my problems. I just recently purchased a 5th wheel Brinkley (3110) 2026. James was easy to talk to and informative. I finally negotiated a price and they agreed. I ask to do an inspection a week before the PDI and they agreed. I found a couple of faults and they fixed them on the PDI. But there was one major problem, they order the wrong size hitch for the bed of my truck. I stress to them weeks ago we would be leaving after the PDI. Well everything was booked and paid for a 3 day trip to NewPort RI. They felt bad about the situation so they offered to tow my unit at my home so I could load it up and Dave returned at 8:30 the next morning to tow it to Newport and returned at 10am on the 3rd day in Newport and went back to Foxboro and I met him there for the install of my hitch. My wife and I were so pleased they went above and beyond what we expected. Many thanks to Dave from service, JJ sales manager, James from sales, and Sherry who does the PDI. if she couldn't answer your question she would find someone that would. She was great. There were a few others that were involved but I missed there names. Also, a special thanks to the gentleman who fixed my water hose. Thanks to all of you in making it such a great 3 days in Newport. My experience with this company is awful so far. If somebody wants to reach out to me I'll be more…read morethan happy to tell you all about it. Cdpellegrino@gmail.com And I can't even leave a proper review because yelp keeps erasing my entire paragraph. Before I even got the R. V. There was an a live Mouse in our toilet with human poop on it because they didn't maintaince the rv properly. They were going to sell us the rv with mice in it. They didn't clean anything. The propane water heater is FILTHY. Huge black streak up my camoer from soot. The black tank won't empty and my AC leaks in the rain. They sold us insurance and when we called to asked about how to use the insurance they gave me multiple numbers that weren't the right numbers. I've been trying to get the proper info for over a month. No one will call us back. I'm paying for an RV that i can't even use fully.

    Hi-Way Campers

This is my first time ever writing a review, and I hate that it has to be a negative one…read more Unfortunately, our experience with Hi-Way Campers, Inc. has been nothing short of horrendous. When we bought our camper three years ago, the service at purchase was great. However, everything went downhill once our trailer required extensive service. For the past eight months, we haven't had our camper as it has either been at Hi-Way or at Lance in CA. During this time, we've encountered the worst customer service we have ever experienced. The service manager, Yvonne, has been rude, dismissive, and even told us to take our business elsewhere. Our brand-new Lance trailer needed a complete floor replacement (manufacturer defect), which led to a series of miscommunications and unreturned calls. Eventually, our camper was transported back to the Lance manufacturer in California. After seven months, we were notified that it had returned to Connecticut. When we went to pick it up, Yvonne merely handed us the keys without even walking us to the trailer. Inside, we found a cabinet door on the floor jammed under the broken bedroom door, a damaged kitchen counter, and the trailer was filthy, inside and out. Understandably agitated, we approached Yvonne, who said "Have a nice day. Find another Lance dealer". After liaising with the manufacturer again, we finally picked up our camper today, vowing never to return to Hi-Way Campers, Inc. Yvonne once again simply handed me the keys telling me to find it on the lot. When I pressed her for paperwork telling her we will not be replacing the kitchen counter at Hi-Way, she gave me the entire file (her originals?) and said, "Good." I must add that Lance has been decent to deal with in the final hours, and they have provided us with a different repair facility in order to complete the rest of the unfinished work. They will be sending the countertop to them directly. It's shocking how many reviews mention Yvonne by name--she is the face of their service department, and they should be ashamed to employ her. Avoid Hi-Way Campers, Inc at all costs, or hope that you never need servicing.

Just completely stay far away from this company, you'll be happy that you did. Like a used car…read moresalesman, after you leave the lot, you no longer exist. The simply refuse to do service work except for the rare few for appearances. Not sure what the Service Manager holds over the head of the owner but apparently she runs the business, not him.
