She's a master at cutting all styles and I always leave her feeling happy with a fantastic cut! I've been to a lot of hair stylists over the years, from Miami to NYC and have worn my hair very long and very short and Rita is absolutely the best stylist I've ever had cutting my hair! Actually she use to work closer to down town jax, and when she moved out to Ponte Vedra all of her clients followed her! I wear my hair super short now, and it's so crazy that even with it so super short, there is so much shape and a modern edge to it. I see a lot of women in her chair with long luxurious locks and beautifully cut shapes and styles, and she's an amazing artist! I can tell the other stylist are also very talented and send their clients out the door feeling great too. I highly recommend this establishment!

While I have many complaints, the main one is that I did not like my haircut, and even after I tried to ask the stylist to fix it, I was rushed out looking terrible. My haircut was 14 minutes with no wash/shampoo, no blow dry and no products. I was told that the cut would be dry because of my hair type. My hairstylist was Rita who said that my hair type is best cut with dry hair. I have never had that in the past, but I trusted her experience. However, I was very disappointed that she cut my hair so quickly and then didn't ask me if I liked it, I felt like she was pushing me out the door. I have long hair and asked for many layers, lots of layers that are visible and she did not give me that. I had her add more in and asked her to fix a few things 5/6 times, which she did, but with the attitude that I was bothering her. Her cuts are $75 dollars and that's an unfair price for the experience I got. My next complaint is partly due to the coronavirus but it still left a negative taste in my mouth. I called on Friday for an appointment and was told the salon was finally able to use the blow dryers, but to schedule early in the day because they sometimes ran out of sanitized brushes near the end of the day. I came in for my Saturday appointment and Rita told me that was not the case, no blowdrys. I told her that the receptionist told me differently, and her only response was "oh she knows". Therefore my hair looked extremely sad due to the lack of wash/blow dry and products. Overall, I felt very unwelcomed at this salon. On the day of my appointment, while I was already on my way to the salon, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that my appointment was being canceled last minute. Instead of offering a solution or urgency in rebooking, I was told it would be another two weeks before I could be scheduled for the same service. The only compromise offered was to split the services -- haircut one week, color the next -- which was not ideal, nor what I had booked or planned for. It was implied that the cancellation was due to my stylist calling out, and while no direct explanation was given, it happened to be the day after what I believe was their birthday -- which raises questions about the level of professionalism and planning. If something unavoidable came up, I would have appreciated an honest explanation and a sincere effort to accommodate me promptly--especially since I had already made arrangements and was en route. At the time I was working 70 hours a week and I specifically took time out of my workday to go do this seeing as I had no free time. To make matters worse, I later received an automated confirmation for an appointment I never scheduled or approved, which only added to the confusion. The stylists here are also the owners, Patrick and Kevin, which makes the lack of communication and client care even more frustrating. As business owners, I expected better accountability, professionalism, and respect for clients' time. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning.

Believe me.. i've been on this roller coaster of a journey for years! After seeing Sophia on IG and quietly stalking her posts for a while, I finally gained up enough courage to book an appointment. Like I said, my blonde journey has been a roller coaster and I have some serious trust issues, but I was finally ready to take another leap of faith, and I'm so glad I did! Sophia did such an amazing job on my hair! She really listened to what I wanted, heard all of my concerns, and we jumped into a day long color correction. She fought against banding, inconsistent and patchy weaving from old highlights, and worked through areas that were over processed while taking extra care to prevent as much breakage as possible. After an exhaust day, my hair was it's blondest blonde and still healthy! She's a miracle worker! The very next day, Sophia text me to check in and see how I was feeling and to make sure I was satisfied with my results. I have NEVER had a stylist check in on me like that before. She truly cares about her clients and takes pride in her work.
