    Chicken chipotle wrap

Great prices, fast service, great taste. I frequent this place when I'm in the office. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fast and not a chain.

I'm a huge supporter of My sister's house. They are an amazing cause, and as a side note, I would encourage everyone to consider looking into what they do, and if you're philanthropic, this is a worthy cause. If you've been a victim, are a victim, or know a victim of domestic abuse, please reach out to them. When I discovers My Sister's Cafe, I super excited to try their food, especially knowing that it supports their overall cause. Located on the ground floor of an office building, parking is next to impossible. We walked over. I ordered the bahn mi In anticipation of yumminess. Sadly, it wasn't mediocre at best. The actual bread was dry/slightly stale, and the inside of the bread was bare. The ingredients were basic and underwhelming. I found the meat to be over cooked and blah. A great cause, not so great food.

Baun My Sister's Banh Mi Sandwich taste like Indian food and salty sauce was horrible

Ordered BaunMi with chicken. It taste like India with some horrible salt sauce saturated the bun.. not good taste in my opinion. After eating it i smelled like I had been eating gram Marsala.. by the spoon full.

I ordered a grilled chicken chipotle sandwich and it was delicious! Great serving size for the price. Staff was also super informative about the menu. Very easy to order at the outside window where Apple Pay is accepted. Plenty of seating outside as well.

    Thai peanut wrap with tofu

Good basic Asian fusion food at a nice small cafe. I'm glad I had the chance to try this and support My Sister's House. The location is best to walk to in downtown at Capitol Mall next to DOCO. Friendly staff and clean. During this time of COVID-19, pocket hand sanitizers for customers were at the counter, as well as a hand pump next to the register of course. Cute that handmade cards were also for sale. I had a Thai peanut wrap on spinach tortilla with tofu. The wrap was quite large and served cut in half. I liked the generous amount of vegetables--romaine, red cabbage, carrots, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro with some peanuts. The peanut sauce was rather plain, but at least it wasn't too salty or heavy and was clean eating. I might come back to try a different dish and coffee or tea

The Mission behind the program is great... My Sister's Cafe is a program of My Sister's House. It is a private, non-profit organization located in Sacramento. They address the needs of women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in the Sacramento region mainly serving the Asian and Pacific Islanders. By supporting My Sister's Cafe you are helping provide a safe haven for these women and children. I had the Turkey lunch box. It came with salad, potato chips, chocolate chip cookie and the turkey sandwich. The meal was good and very filling. The individually boxed lunch was a full traditional meal and was given to me free but I'm looking forward to visiting the cafe at their location at the Capitol Mall in Sacramento for other meal options. Looks like they offer a nice variety of gourmet and deli sandwiches including wraps and salads. Business hours are Mon-Fri from 9:00a to 3:00p. Closed on weekends. Review #2057

This had been a big reason I hadn't stopped in before... parking can be hard downtown but I've learned it's worth a walk even if you have to park a few street over. I was told the green Thai tea ($6) here is delicious so we both eagerly ordered one to enjoy during the meal. They were served in larger carafes and it's so satisfying to stir before taking your first sip. Definitely a great portion for the price. We wanted to explore the menu so we ordered a variety of items to share, knowing we'd be taking home leftovers. We ordered the Green Curry ($17), Lao Pho ($18), Pas See Ew ($17), and pineapple fried rice ($19). It was truly a feast. All the dishes had a generous portion size and our server made sure we had extra bowls and plates to share the pho and other dishes. My personal favorites were the pad see ew and Lao pho, the noodles in the pad see ew were delicious and I always like eating this as fresh as possible so the noodles are steaming hot. The pho broth had great flavor and I loved that this Lao version had tomatoes in it. The meat in the pho was also delicious. The pineapple fried rice is a customer favorite, but didn't blow me away. I tend to like savory and spicy more than sweet and savory, so this could by why. The Green Curry was a bit too thin for my preferences, I like a thick curry. It was tasty though and I'm glad I gave it a try. I would definitely stop in again to try more of the menu, and when we stopped in the Lao sausage was sold out, so I'd definitely order it next time if they have it.

I actually took some of the pasta home to share with my partner who also thought the flavor was sooo good and wanted to come here for our anniversary. I totally forgot to write a review back then, because I would have suggested an option small cup of coconut milk or broth that people can mix to make the curry less spicy. Now for our anniversary dinner, I want to restate, service was impeccable! They went above and beyond! I really enjoyed the Cà Ri Khaoi Taylor, I love me crispy potatoes! But unfortunately the Bún Riêu not only came a bit later than expected. It was also slightly undercooked so it made for a harder mouthful when I bit into the dry/raw pasta parts. Our amazing server offered to change the dish and we took the lobster dandan noodles to go since we were on a time crunch, so I didnt really eat the noodles super fresh. It was good but it didnt have the kick and enticing flavor that the laksha curry pasta had. So I mainly wanted to come here and praise the servers, but also bring up that yes the laksa pasta back!
