This restaurant used to be my favorite back when I used to go Sacramento State University. I used to love their eggrolls and their food. But the day on Monday, April 27, 2026 I was so disappointed with the service and the food. The egg rolls were so dry like they were overcooked and they're missing a lot of vegetables inside. It tasted awful and I used to love them. the yellow curry, we told the waitress that we wanted nothing spicy and it was very spicy. The food was not great. The service was not good. I hope they improve and they go back to serving amazing food. The waitress that was helping us she was not nice.

Was in the area visiting a friend and walked down for lunch. Such a great little restaurant with lovely patio seating. It was a little chilly so we ate inside, but would love to come back for patio dining. We both selected one of their bento lunch specials. It was perfect. Little salad, some veggies, an egg roll and some green curry . Sooooo good!

It took me a long time to visit this spot. I've lived here for like 5 years and this is my first time here. It's most likely because it's an Omni restaurant with a vegan menu, rather than a vegan restaurant. I've been to the Veg Cafe that's upstairs from it, because that place is all vegan, and I've been to Babe's a couple doors down, which is all vegan and gluten-free. The prices here are a little high in my opinion, especially since the portions aren't super big. I went with 2 other people and we ordered the following vegan items. - salad rolls - Pad Mamuang Himapan - impossible garlic noodles I liked it all. I also got a vegan Thai iced tea since they aren't usually vegan. The bathrooms were nice and clean. They had a place to set your purse while you pee. There's indoor seating and patio seating so I sat on the patio because October in Sac is basically the perfect month for outdoor dining. The service was good. If you're vegan, make sure you ask for the vegan menu when you sit down.

My top recommendation here is Pad Thai, absolutely delicious! Honestly, it's the best around.:) I also love Tung Tong appetizer, served hot off the pan and super tasty. Another great choice is Kow Pad Sapparod, which is bursting with a variety of flavors!

5/5 stars just for the fact that they have such a great and extensive vegan menu and healthy options and the food is not smothered in oil, something very rare in America. Amazing service, very considerate and friendly towards all my vegetarian requests. Great prices and amazing tasting food! Restaurant has beautiful interior decor with many plants :)

My favorite pad Thai ive ever had and the tung tong is my new favorite appetizer! I've had several pad Thais but none compare to this one. I highly recommend. The tung tong appetizer it's absolutely delicious.

Not going to lie the food was good but the price was a lot! I'll blame it on the location but I was a bit bummed at the price verse portion, the service was okay and could have been better considering we were the only people in the restaurant. Can't say I will return but if you're in the area and want some Thai this place definitely has good food if it's in your budget and you are okay with smaller portions

The restaurant is really nice inside. They have plenty of seating. The also have a nice outdoor area, which would be really nice for those warm sunny days. The food was ok, I didn' think it was very good. Perhaps other items in their menu are tastier. Yet, we did have an overall food experience with staff. We had the green curry, yellow curry, and fried spring rolls. Both curries were not spicy. They come with rice. The service was good. The staff was quick to take our order and we received our food quickly.

Thai Basil never fails to amaze me. Their food is so good and the service is even better. The ambiance is always chill. Never that loud or crowded. People come in at waves so it's definitely a spot to check out if you're in the mood for Thai. I ate every last bit of my Pad-See-Ew. Amazing. Oh and this place has vegan options!

First tried this place on a walking tour of the city where our host informed us that the chef owner is Thai and her food is very authentic and she has been a port of the food scene in Sacramento for a while. The food was very good, highlights were the garlic fried rice and surprisingly the asparagus that came with the meat dish, I don't know how they got that flavor and grill taste, absolutely Devine! The servers were very nice but it took quite a while for us to get our order taken and the we were about halfway down with our dinner before we got our drinks. So I deducted 1 star for this two issues, I wouldn't say it was super busy as there were a few open tables but there were only two gals running waitressing so it wasn't too bad. The restaurant smelled so wonderful when you walk in and there are plants everywhere!! Someone there is a green thumb and they had the cutest propagated orchid in the bathroom. Definitely a great place for Thai food, would 10/10 recommend.

Great spot for Thai food in Downtown Sac! Visited with my family & loved the vegetarian options! Entirely vegan menu available which offers great variety. Ordered panang curry, pad Thai, Thai spicy fried rice, and holy tofu. Would not recommend holy tofu as it is very dry, but rest of the dishes were flavorful and perfectly spiced. Absolutely delicious. Only downside is that the portions are rather small given the prices of the dishes. Service was fantastic - restaurant seems to be short staffed, but employees were working hard to reduce wait times overall. Food came quickly! Ambiance is nice inside. Would suggest sitting outside on a nice day. Recommend this spot!

Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves where we pleased. This place is so quaint and clean. Our server Erick was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and suggestions. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer and our entree were the Salad Bai Yok Chicken & Kow Pad just egg and beef. The food was served heat hot and the taste was so flavorful & fresh with both orders. We will be back

Food was delicious and everything was flavored well - love the sauce pairings. Originally I thought the root was more like veggie tempura but is actually more of a fritter with a sauce. Very crispy. The Hai Yai Fried Chicken has a nice crispy outer skin, cuts really well - meat melts away from the bones, and the fat portion taste really good. The main con I want to call out here is based off how it cuts I thought the chicken meat inside would be very juicy - but is actually kind of dry. So docking points for the inside chicken meat portion. Really love the pandan sago coconut ice cream tho. Ice cream has actual coconut meat in it and the salted coconut sauce on the outside nicely balance the sweetness of the ice cream. Will come again if in town.

The restaurant filled up very fast and there was also to go orders and people were arriving waiting for seats or signing to take the food to go. I'm so happy to see this business is thriving. There, Tom, Yum and Tom Kay soups are absolutely perfectly flavored have a ton of chicken. If you order chicken, you can also order tofu or shrimp. The mushrooms are freshly thick cut and you'll find large pieces of cake for leaf and ginger and the soup so you know it's really freshly made. They can adjust the spice heat as to your preference and it really comes a little spicey hot, and you can ask for Thai hot but you might not be able to taste anything for a few days afterwards cause that is really hot . Everything else sat somewhere in the middle Parking? Lot We had: Chicken Satay (4/5): Flavor wise, this was locked in. One of the better peanut sauces I've had. Nutty, slightly sweet, with enough depth to keep it interesting. The problem was execution. It came out lukewarm, which dulled the whole experience and made it feel less fresh than it should have. Also could've used more sauce. Still good, just not quite dialed Green Curry (2.5/5): This one just didn't show up. The flavors felt muted and never really came together. The vegetable mix was fine, but it needed more eggplant to give it some body and identity. The chicken was forgettable. Nothing offensive, just flat. Easy pass Mango Curry (4.5/5): This is where things turned around. Bright, layered, and actually interesting. Real mango brought a natural sweetness that worked instead of overwhelming, and the sauce had depth. It felt composed. The vegetables could've been more evenly distributed and the chicken was just okay, but overall this was the standout and absolutely worth ordering again
