Service was super nice and I love how they are open until 7PM (aka you can make it after work). I dropped my fancy iPad Pro and shattered the screen. Not good times. I called everywhere and they quoted around $560 in average for the repair... I called these guys... They charged me half of what others estimated the repairing cost. They fixed my iPad in two days. For some reason the screen looks even brighter and nicer than before... I dropped my iPad Pro on a concrete floor and truly SHATTERED the screen. A replacement with Apple (I no longer have Apple Care) would have been $499+. My Tech World quickly responded on Yelp with a quote of $279. When I brought in the iPad, they honored that quote, but noted I had also dented the frame - if fixable, that would be another $40, though if not, they wouldn't charge me. Two days later, I got a call - it was fixable, and it was fixed! Woo hoo! The screen looks GREAT, and all in (tax, etc.) it cost $350. I had a pretty bad cracked screen on my older Samsung Galaxy that caused my phone to go haywire so I called around 5 places that were highly rated around the west la area/ Inglewood area and this place was the most affordable. The owner is also super customer service oriented and was super helpful with scheduling when I can drop off my phone and pick it up since I work the same time he Is open. Took my phone home and the screen was glitchy & didn't work. I have a 30-day warranty with them so I took it back to get fixed. I took it back and they made it even worse, now the camera does not work and the screen triple types all my letters. I TOOK IT BACK AGAIN. They said it worked fine & that if there is an issue it's from before they fixed it. They told me the camera was because I have no storage - which is not true. They do NOT uphold their 30-day warranty promise & they also break your phone. Plus the guy was a dick to me. Now I have to buy a new phone. read more

Well, my wife had trouble with her iPad staying charged, and it got to the point where it wasn't charging at all. We first contacted Batteries Plus, but they didn't have a technician who was capable of these types of repairs, so they referred us here. I dropped off the tablet for my wife, and they were very straightforward with their pricing, and made good on their effort to call me and my wife, once they figured out what was wrong with it. Turned out to be the charger port (plus, the battery was old too). So they replaced both of these things, and the final cost was more than fair to us. I made the mistake of going to Melrose Mac and waiting over a MONTH for my iMac to be fixed once, so when I recently had a problem with my MacBook, I was happy to try out this great shop. I dropped my iPhone and got vertical lines on the right side of the screen, and the touch response stopped working where the lines were. So basically, a partially functional phone. First I tried to schedule an appointment with Apple--timeline was over a week out! Who can survive that long without a functioning phone? Then I tried Best Buy and was able to get an appointment with Geek Squad for that night. They said it would take overnight, which I relented to. Then the guy realized it was an iPhone 6, and told me they can't fixed it because Apple no longer supplies them parts. Argh. I needed a place that could fix my problem quickly, because I was a little concerned the problem could get worse (someone told me that happened to him). And I'm glad I found My Tech World on Yelp. The guy was very nice when I called, and said it could be fixed in 25 minutes. Showed up at lunch time, and he did as he promised. The price was good, and when he heard I found him on Yelp, he put on a screen protector for free for exchange of a review. Very simple and nice experience. And fast. One small thing is I noticed right away the OEM screen he put on makes the colors on screen look more blue, and also has less contrast/saturation. But it was my bad for not asking if it was possible to put on an Apple part. I guess cuz Best Buy told me they didn't have the original part, I didn't even think others might. So that one's on me. Grateful! My 11" MacBook Air that I bought in 2015 was fixed for a reasonable price and reasonable time frame. I've heard horror stories about the prices and amount of time it takes for Apple to repair and I just did not feel comfortable shipping my laptop due to COVID protocol. My laptop wouldn't turn on and he diagnosed it within 48 hours. It needed a new motherboard because I never cleaned my laptop. It took awhile (2 weeks) to have it shipped but this was due to postal delays outside of his control. Anytime your mac book doesn't work, and you've tried all the YouTube methods, it will inevitably require patience and time to get it working normally again. I recalled years ago asking the apple store to fix and the only option was to ship my computer away for a minimum of two weeks and at a high cost. Paskal repaired my computer under 24 hours at a great price. The issue dealt with the motherboard and battery. He was able to repair the motherboard so I didn't have to purchase a new one. Already satisfied with the service on an older cell phone, we took in my son's Nintendo DS as it wasn't charging properly. Other than sending the unit back to Nintendo, we had few options (other stores I checked declined to try). Nikolai (?) the tech resoldered the charging port and charged me only $20, with instructions to bring back the unit if there were problems with the repair. As it turned out, the DS needed a whole new charging jack. Nikolai was able to order the new part, installed it for us, gave me credit for the unsuccessful repair, and charged me only an additional $20. That's AMAZING service! I didn't get to meet this legend, Pascal, that everyone is raving about. Iphone crack repair took 20 min, and it even came with a free lecture about how my phone is slightly bent, and several eyerolls too! The repair was acceptable but the price was also a rip off.
