I've tried a lot of Thai food...and this one is the worsts place I've ever tasted. The price you get for the small potions are one thing but the food was over cooked, over sauced. The sauce flavor in its self wasn't good. I don't consider P.F. Changes a Thai place but it is comparable. I got the Pad See Ew and is was just gross, chewy, and soggy. As much as the food looked very pleasing the taste and texture is absolutely not Thai. I'm from the bay area and have been looking for a good Thai restaurant out here but nothing compares to how they cook authentic Thai food like in the bay area. We ordered spicy cat fish, shrimp pad Thai and their famous crab fried rice. We asked for spicy and medium heat. None of the plates were spicy. My cat fish was greasy and had no spicy sauce on it, shrimp pad Thai was made of spaghetti noodles and their crab fried rice had a TONE of large onions and one piece of crab meat. My brother and I went for a late lunch on a Saturday, business was slow, so service was quick and friendly. Menu was large and had many delicious options to choose from, we weren't feeling too adventurous so I went with Pad Thai and my brother got the chicken which came with a side salad and sticky rice. We also ordered the crab rangoons as starters, and he had a taro smoothie while I had a Thai iced tea. The portions were very generous and the dishes came out quick and hot, but not too hot. Both drinks were sweet and refreshing. Inside the restaurant itself was quiet and peaceful, which allowed for a nice casual but relaxed vibe. Everything was delicious but I couldn't finish the plate in one sitting - thought we did cut to the dessert because it was just too tempting - so we got boxes and took it home, and it was still delicious as leftovers an hour or so later. By far one of my favorite thai places in the area. However this time was different. The owners wife was completely rude from the moment I walked in the door she judged my husband and I for no reason. We had an $80 bill and she completely disregarded the fact that they only gave me 2 shrimp in my pineapple fried rice. The food and service in normally very good but they let us down tonight. Lacking in customer service is an understatement. After reading several of the reviews here I have to say I agree with the posts concerning the rude lady working here. The man I think is her husband is very nice and always accommodating but she never smiles and always acts like you're bothering her. I've seen her be confrontational on a couple occasions. At one point they had a very nice staff but no one seems to stay working here longer than a month and I can understand why. I'm sure they would do much better if they could get rid of her. read more

By far the worst service I've experienced at a restaurant. It's hard to mess up Thai food which explains the 5 star reviews. It took them over an hour to bring out our food and by then most of the orders were cold. That was after waiting 30 minutes for them to even give us menus to order from. It might be justified if it was busy, but only a few tables were taken. On top of it, they got a couple items wrong and completely missed two orders. My son an I stopped in for lunch. It was his first time having Thai. The waitress was amazing. She answered a million questions and went through all the ingredients for our allergies. My son got the Crab Rangoon and loved it. It came out crispy and hot, and ultra creamy inside. He got the Angel Wings he also loved those. I could hear the skin crisp when he bit into them. I got the potato samosa, and wow. The outside was wrapped in a crunchy wonton, the inside was creamy and sweet. I got the yellow curry with veggies which was perfect. Son got the pumpkin red curry. He didn't love it. I took a small taste and would say it was overwhelming bell pepper flavor. To finish we got the mango sticky rice which was next level The rice came out covered in an amazing sweet coconut milk that was thick like syrup. I could eat that rice every day. I drive all the way from Manteca to eat at My Thai. I have tried a few other Thai food restaurants but this is the best. It has a great atmosphere. I always order the Pad Thai, which comes with a huge portion, I never finish it. I like that they mix in different kinds of meat, shrimp and tofu too as opposed to other Thai places that make you choose a single kind. It's sooo good here, the sauce they use is just perfect. Just be careful if you ask for it spicy, they will make it really REALLY hot! Another favorite is the fresh rolls, especially the sweet peanut sauce they give to dip them in. I've also had the Kra Praw Fried Rice, which was good but I'm more of a noodle guy. As for the stir fries, the Pad Basil is amazing. It goes well with the Pad Thai or the Fried Rice. Chicken, red and green bell pepper slices, pumpkin (kabocha?) In a savory sauce with just the right amount of spice. My husband and I had dinner here tonight. I ordered the my Thai chicken salad which I have had a couple times before. I ate my first bite the chicken was off and it was super salty and the lettuce was old and brown pieces of lettuce which was disappointing as it was not cheap. My husband told the women that was there which I think is the owner and she acted mad at us and didn't even try to offer me something else and she did take it off the bill which I appreciated but no care in the world.
