When I opened the takeout container, i could not find any green onion nor any veggies in it.. chicken pieces were hardly noticeable. The entire Pad Thai dish was 90% noodles...definitely not a nutritionally balanced dish. ... Every dish here is exceptional--easily my favorite Thai spot. All ingredients, especially the vegetables, were so fresh. Been coming here a few years now unfortunately this recent visit was very unpleasant our server who was a shorter Hispanic lady with a terrible attitude happened to help our party of six. She forgot our order came back and asked what we ordered after a party of ten got sat and ordered so we had to wait for them to get their dishes then to get ours. She didn't place our order right the second time and we got some of our dishes after we got served our desserts. I asked my cousin if I should still get the food and the server interrupted rudely and said I'll cancel it and walked away. Curries and Pad Thai all come in at $18 or so, and the signature dishes like the Crying Tiger bump up $24. Not crazy by my standards, and the serving sizes are huge, but YMMV. Came on a Saturday night for the first time and it was pretty busy. We were seated right away but it took a while for us to get our order taken. The soup was delish, my Pad See Ew was good too, but i do have to say every dish with protein had a very odd texture to the meats. The soup, and the noodle dishes both have overly tenderized meats that felt rubbery so it wasn't the most enjoyable part of the dish. I would definitely come here again and try the shrimp or tofu and see if that makes a difference because the flavors of the dishes are amazing, but it was a tad disappointing for the first visit. The staff was super nice, the restaurant was very clean, but we did also have a hard time getting the attention of the staff for refills, kinda felt like they were understaffed. Stopped by on our way home from a day trip to Tahoe and tried this place out. It's a cute little restaurant inside and the servers are very attentive. Mostly always get the drunken noodle with pork and always add extra pork and noodles last night had to have been the best experience I've ever had with Thai food and the funny thing as I've been coming here for some time. We also ordered a dish I cannot pronounce, but it was a lightly battered fish and veggie stir fry type. The flavors were awesome, but the fish was soggy. First time here and very satisfied with my take out order of pad Thai, red curry and steamed vegetables. Food took about 15 minutes from order to pick up and this was around 7 on a Friday night. The portions are huge and priced well. Added shrimp to the pad Thai which tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. My Thai was amazing this time around because of Michelle's superb service. She is so funny and friendly. She was the perfect server. The food however was as to be expected, 3/5 I'm not sure why we still come back since the food always leaves us hungrier than when we came in. Not only did one meal never appear but the two women who dealt with it were exceptionally rude.
