I went to this eatery and the food was ok not exceptional and a little on the pricey side. My turn off was the waiter who was complaining to the customers about personal problems and it made everyone seem on edge. Not a good dining experience. Probably wouldn't come back. read more

The best restaurant in Pahrump!! I also wouldn't be surprised if this was the best Thai place in Nevada. This is the only place I'm sure everything is fresh and made to order in town. We had Nam Sod salad, Panang Shrimp Curry, Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, and Pork Spicy Mint Pad Kra Prao. The waiter suggested that we stick with medium since this was our first time here. This let us really get a good feel for the flavors. There were also several hot sauces available if we really wanted something better. My favorite Thai dish of all time is Panang Curry and their version absolutely was excellent. It was a bit sweet, so I'd recommend going with a spice level higher than medium, perhaps a 6 or 7. The base flavors were all there though and absolutely correct. The other dishes were all fabulous as well, and we were stuffed when we finished! I will definitely try this place again. My only complaint was that from sitting down to getting our first dish was an hour. Not sure if they were short-staffed or if it was just a lot of take out orders. But this does seem to be one of only a few places in town where the food is truly made when ordered, so I won't complain any more about the time. I actually went here last year when a friend of mine refereed me to this establishment. The restaurant it self is located outside the main town we're all the shops and casinos are located. Also the restaurant it self is very small and next to a gas station. I'm only giving this place 4 stars because of the slow service, which is because its a family run restaurant literally " the mom and dad cooks while the son serve!" I was so excited to try this place after reading all the great reviews about the food and friendly (although sometimes lengthy) service. No matter, I am willing to wait for something good and was forewarned from reviews. Seems like there are alot of reviewers here who have never had REALLY good thai food. If you want REALLY good thai food and service, ask me. I'll tell you were to find it. This place fails on more than 1 level. So I drove there to call in my takeout order, after my 1st call from home went to voicemail. He answers and I start my order. Angel wings. He responds "Angel wings" and so on after each item I ordered. Combination appetizers and combination pad thai. I ask how long and he starts hassling me, asking me why I ask? I want to determine whether I want to wait there or leave and come back, I tell him. He starts going into how its better to go home and come back because the food is better if you don't rush to cook it. I told him theres no rush, im not in a hurry and have all the time in the world. I prefer my food cooked with love, so take your time. So with that I ask, how long? 25mins he says. Great I'll see you in 30. I decided to wait, get some gas etc. An hour later and after watching him take food to 2 cars that came after me, i got out of my car and he motioned for me to go back. He comes out with my food $36 and change, I give him $40, keep the change. Get home, open the food, no angel wings. Order of regular wings. I call him back. He asks if I want the angel wings and yes. Yes I did. How long? 15mins. Do you want me to bring back the wings? Yes, bring the wings back. Really? Really??? You want me to bring them back? What are you going to do with them? Throw them away, he says. That reply did something to me. I could really care less about the wings. I didn't order them in the 1st place. (They're really good tho btw). And I had 4 in the combo so..... Imo, its just plain and simple, bad business. And tbh, a little insulting that he would rather have me bring them back so he could throw them away. I brought the wings back with me and gave him a chance to redeem himself and do the right thing. He insisted that I give him back the wings. Call it what you want, but it pissed me off and I drove off without giving back the wings. As for the rest of the food. It was ok at best. That's it. That's my review. I don't recommend this place. Well, My Thai did it again. No where was it noted that they would be closed Feb, 7th thru the 20th. When we arrived yesterday evening for a Valentine's dinner there were already 3 vehicles parked sitting there waiting. We pulled in to a vehicle with two gentlemen sitting in it. My husband said roll the down the window, it looks like they want to ask us something. Rolled down the window and the driver asked if we knew why they were not open. I said I would go checked the door. When I tried the door it was locked and no one inside. There were some dim lights on inside. I found a note taped to the door that they were closed from the dates I mentioned previously. I had been trying to call them all day, and their voice mail box was full again and no calls could get through. I do not understand why the owners cannot update their website or post a notice on Facebook that they will not be open. Also fix their phone and leave a recorded message that they are closed. Their food is great, but their lack of notifying the community when they suddenly change their days open and or hours is totally unacceptable! This is not the first time this has happened. read more

You can smell the passion cooking. Ordered food to go. Thom Kar Kai (Chicken,Coconu,Lime Soup), Pad Thai and some melon salad. The soup was so friggin good. Everything is fresh and made essentially before your eyes (open kitchen, near register.) Crazy, funny, 'Danny' (the son of the owners-at least that's the name I gave him) was quite entertaining with an odd/unique outlook on life. Made me smile. Wednesday evening place was packed around 6:30, ordered food to go, waited 45 mins. For three items, made entirely from scratch with a packed house....to be expected. Good Thai food in Pahrump? Yes you can! The signage on the building is faded but the vibrant flavors of the dishes shined through. The Tom Kha soup was fabulous. We also had the Pad Si Yu, pad Thai, chicken wings and pineapple fried rice. We eat Thai about twice a week in San Francisco and I would highly recommend this cute spot to anyone. *note - They do not serve beer or wine. We will come again soon. read more

The food was great. We called the order in due to Covid-19 and they had it ready super fast. The owner was very kind and friendly. The Chicken Satay came with 5 sticks and a delicious peanut sauce, my kids loved them. Who doesn't love meat on a stick? We also ordered the Green beans with chicken they had a great sauce on them with a hint of lemon. Papraking I think it was called. Lastly, can't leave without a Thai Tea so refreshing. We stayed in pahrump for our visit to Death Valley national park and this was one of the few options that came up when we were looking for Thai food. I was intrigued by sooo many very positive reviews so we decided to order from here. I got drunken noodles with chicken ($12). They had the food ready in a timely manner even though we ordered close to closing time. Since this place is located in a pretty isolated area I didn't have high expectations, but the food was actually better than expected! Also portion size is quite large so this lasted me for two meals. Furthermore prices are very reasonable. They keep their doors locked I assume for covid reasons and bring the food out to you when you go to pick it up. The guy working there insisted we wait in our car for the food rather than standing outside. This was confusing at first because he was so insistent about this even though we were comfortable just standing outside lol but I think he meant well and was trying to be nice so we wouldn't be cold outside. If you're in the area, this is a good quick pickup food option! read more

Family owned business, nice interior atmosphere despite the outside location. The food is usually very good, though sometimes prone to hit or miss and the wait time can be extensive (30 minutes minimum, 2 hrs was the longest). The waiter/owner is a character, and can come across as either funny or rude, apparently depending on his / your mood. They can make many of the dishes gluten free, which as a Celiac is great. read more

We were passing through from Death Valley to Vegas and did a google search and this place came up. Wow. Because of COVID we could go in, but after knocking at the door a gentlemen greeted us. He was full of personality. We sat in our car and waited for the order to come out. It was a bit long of a wait but we didn't call ahead like many of the locals had obviously done. There was a steady flow of traffic and repeat customers who all knew this gentleman. It became obvious quickly this was the place that the local go for great Thai. Our food was excellent and the serving size was massive. He even brought us complimentary water and actually refused our tip. Who does this? This server and restaurant are genuine and we would go there again without hesitation if we ever find ourselves in Pahrump again. food is amazing some of the best I've had outside of Thailand. it's family owned and the Parents do all the cooking while the son is the waiter. the only reason I can't give a 5/5 is the few downsides most of which aren't their fault. you will wait for your food, this isn't a quick option. dishes are made as ordered and you could wait more than an hour. during busy times they can get a little overwhelmed and while your food quality will not suffer it may not come out all together. You will have to establish a friendship with the family if you want the food to be more authentic especially spice wise but once they know you mean it you can ask them to just make whatever they have the best ingredients for that day and it's always beyond amazing. Honestly this place is worth the trip out to Pahrump on its own, just make sure you have time. read more

This was the strangest non dining experience of my life. The owner (?) ignored us until we asked if we should seat ourselves. He seemed surprised we were not picking up to go. Then we chose a seat and he took our order. He showed us his first dollar and told a long, incomprehensible story about being offered free money earlier today. Family run resturaunt. Mom does the cooking and her son Max takes care of the customers. Max does a great job of making you feel comfortable and making recommendations. He always seems to remember you and what your preferences are. Sadly, the quality of the food has suffered recently. We've been coming here for years, and it used to be a great restaurant (I've rated it 5 stars before). Now it's just another Thai restaurant. Certainly nothing to go out of your way for. We just went into this place for lunch. It took 15 minutes to take our order and we had the Tuesday lunch special. After 30 minutes we still didn't received our cup of soup, so I flagged the waiter down and asked if we get soup, I was told that this wasn't fast food, this place was cuisine and if we were in a hurry we needed to go someplace else. All I wanted was my cup of soup, not to get bitched out. We left and went to Nicco's Pizza it's not fast food either. We dont eat fast food, but we do like to get our food at some point. read more
