My partner and I have been biking a bit the past year and we were going out of town so, I thought why don't we get our bikes tuned up. I stopped by this new bike shop since it was conveniently close to The Palm Coffee Bar where we had coffee that morning. I asked how much for two tune-ups and a new set of grips for my partners bike. Hrach quoted us the price and I was sold. We came back hours later with the bikes. He said he would have them ready in 24 hours but we were going away camping for 5 days so, he held on to them for us. Picking up the bikes was so easy. He showed us what he worked on/tuned up. Made recommendations for future work and life of the bikes. The bikes looked great. Today we finally got around to a taking a nice ride. We rode 16 miles up and down the chandler bike path, to the LA river path and back home. The bikes both felt great. I really believe Hrach cares about what he's doing. He even took the time to size me up on the proper bike knowing that I was only there for research. There was no pressure from Hrach ( the owner I believe) at all. I'm not one to post about certain things most of my reviews are negative hahaha but this one is different. This is one of the best community bike shops I've been to. The owner was super nice and was able to explain what was wrong with my bike and fix the issue. He answered my million questions and was just a wealth of knowledge. I think he's trying to build a community based on family not so much the super high end bikes (but can order them if necessary) I think he's trying to give families their first bikes and just be helpful to anyone starting off. Excellent new bike shop in Burbank--I've tried them all. Most places have an air of exclusivity, as if you've stepped into a motorcycle club, but for bikes. There's often a sense of annoyance, forgetting the excitement and sense of belonging that comes with discovering the world of cycling. My Bike, however, makes you feel welcome, and their service prices are far more affordable than the competition. The owner even offers coffee or espresso while you wait and has gone the extra mile by offering to drop off my bike since I live in the area. This shop carries many of the same products as larger retailers, including TREK and Bontrager, similar to what Go Green Bicycles once stocked. Great location of Magnolia next to plenty of Coffee Shops and shopping while you wait. read more

Wow!! Have you ever been in a bike shop in The Valley? Whether shopping for a bike or getting my bicycle bike serviced, I have been to a number of shops where the person behind the counter did not even bother to look up, others where the place was good but but was so mobbed that it took forever to get some help...oofah! The good news is that Mybike is the opposite!! The owner, Hrach greeted me warmly and made me --- a ride your bike after work guy and not a serious cyclist type --- feel instantly welcomed and at home in his shop. You can tell he loves bikes and cycling and has a passion for it.... Bringing in my 25 -30 year old Trek for a looong overdue tuneup, I explained a couple of small issues, including a knocking sound... Hrach actually asked if he could take it for a quick test ride to troubleshoot... He came back a couple of minutes later with a big smile and said no problem, it was just the kick stand --- now he could have sold me on a bigger problem saying I would need to replace this or that and I would not have known better. Instead , he would replace my old brake cables, clean the bike up, and have it ready by tomorrow... Tomorrow...? Tomorrow, he said with another smile. Tomorrow came and I received a text notice my bike was ready... Whaaat? In all of my years, I have never had my bike tuned up in 24 hours!!! Usually it has taken a week or ten days... Overnight...?!!! Wow! When I arrived the next day, my bike was in amazing shape! Yesterday it was fairly dusty and a bit of a neglected embarrassment...but not today!!! Hrach obviously took great care and put the time in cleaning it up and tuning it up. He also fixed my noisy kick stand and loose tail light and yes, despite the extras and detailing work, he only charged me the exact price he quoted me the day before. A man of his word!! And yes, he also offered me coffee and when we spoke on the phone, also offered to drop my bike off --- where do you get this kind of service these days...? At Mybike, that's where!! It is rare that I can say that after two visits to a business, the owner made me feel like family, but that is the case here!!! Thanks for the great work on my bike, amazing service, and for making a guy who rides his bike after work (aka a "non-cyclist") feel at home!!! Mybike is a real winner!!! read more

They called me that my bike was ready for pick (paid online). When i got to the store, they were giving me a different bike saying it was the bike i ordered. Eventually they said they accidentally gave my bike to another customer and i should take the one they were giving me because it was more expensive. I didn't agree so they said they will get my bike but after a lot of back and forth, they didn't give me my bike. They did give me a refund but the bike i ordered was the only one left in the west coast. Bottom line they sold my bike to someone else and lied that the other customer ordered a more expensive one. Why would that customer not want his bike that he paid more for? Terrible experience with this store. read more

This place is great! My son went in about 10 minutes before closing because his bike tire needed air. We didn't buy the bike there and aren't regular customers, but he went in with money, ready to pay, and the gentleman helped him out for free. Not only did he fill the tire, but he also noticed something was stuck in the valve and fixed it for him on the spot. Go Green Bicycles was down the street until it closed in the last couple years, so that was a bummer. Although the prices and service were mixed bags at times, the convenience couldn't be beat. Recently, I needed a tuneup for my Trek mountain bike. Not having searched for a shop recently, I was excited to see there was a new shop in the area with glowing reviews, and that it was a Trek dealer no less! I called to ask about hours and learned they're open until 7 on Sundays, which is super convenient. Hrach gave me pricing over the phone and I told him I'd bring it by. I brought it in that evening; he got me checked in quickly and efficiently and also gave me helpful information on potentially going tubeless in the future. I got the text the next day that the bike was ready. Once there, he had me do a quick test ride and it felt like when I first bought it. When I brought it home, my wife noticed it was cleaner than when I took it there, which was a nice touch. Will definitely be coming again for future needs. read more
