We shared the saganaki (which tasted great -- not overly salty), the octopus appetizer (juicy, well seasoned and charred but not burnt), horiatiki village salad, the Friday soup special (a fish and vegetable soup) and an avgolemono soup, and very tasty Greek potatoes with tomato sauce, plus a glass of retsina. Well Its my first time eating at this Greek restaurant. It was my friends birthday and finally got an opportunity to come here despite passing by this restaurant. So far the horta dandelion salad was delicious. Most restaurants it taste bitter but there version was delicious like spinach. Their version of dolmadres was good and tasty too. Lot of lamb and beef fillings. I finished it with lamb and artichokes. Service was very attentive. Ambiance was modern Greek restaurant. Would love to come and eat here again. We visited Mykonos for a Mothers Day lunch and it was great! Since we had a larger party, we had to make reservations and the process was super easy, just give them a call. Upon arrival we were able to be seated right away. We sat on the patio area and it was not what I expected. Immediately you seem to be transported away to the Greek islands. There's lots of greenery and for being inside a kind of tent, it wasnt stuffy or muggy inside. Service was fast and our waitress was attentive. It's a Greek restaurant so of course we had to order the saganaki. It was good and had a nice crisp to it! However, the star of the appetizers was definitely the octopus. It was so tender and had a perfect char to it. I'd come back again just for the octopus. I ordered the leg of lamb with rice and green beans. The lamb was also really tender and the rice with that tomato sauce was perfection. This little combo hits every time. My mom ordered the combo plate and while she liked it, she did say it was a tad on the saltier side. However she loved the experience and that's what matters to me. On the plus side, since it was Mothers Day we got a free dessert. It was flan (a little odd in my opinion since it's a Greek restaurant) but OMG! The flan melted in your mouth. Not sure if this is a regular dessert item but if it is ORDER. IT. Overall, so glad I got to finally try Mykonos with my family after driving past it for so many years. We've been coming to Mykonos for almost 2 decades and this was our first visit back since pre-Covid so you're talking over 5+ years ago. Luckily we made reservations for this Saturday night dinner because this place is packed as usual. They do have free valet, however, if you are lucky enough to find a parking space on the side parking lot, make sure to get it. The best surprise after our last visit for over five years was, they did a complete internal renovation of the space. If you've been coming here, you know that it looked like the very traditional Mykonos environment and now it is a very modern look. The menu is just as fantastic and the food is absolutely consistent and authentic. Love that they still have Greek owners as well. This place is reliable love coming here and will continue to come here, especially with this new renovation. read more

Disappointing experience. Ambiance and the friendliness of the staff I would say is four stars. Food - bleh, gross . Where could I start . Appetizer- of the 4 we chose skordila was actually very good. Everything else was really insulting to even call Greek. My sea bass was fishy and whatever , we ate it. The salad thing eh, the olive oil is bitter and the only thing they put on the table. Pissed me off because I was expecting too much. I thought they would take it more seriously based on Greek pride but I don't know locally how this place scores but it well deserves the 3 star rating. Beautiful clean place. Food was not up to par. Lamb Yiuvesti lacked flavor. Mostly tomato sauce. No cinnamon. Roast lamb slices swimming in what appeared to be "brown water", not sauce or gravy. Food, 3/5 stars, the table bread was ok, the skordalia looked like is was made with yukon gold potatoes, have never seen yellow skordala. It was ok, certainly not spectacular. I had lamb, the green beans were definitely canned beans, I expect fresh green beans for a $34 entree. Greek potatoes were not golden/crispy outside. The outside patio was lovely but loud, very. This was a great backup for food with a relative in a nearby nursing home. We had gone to dinner a number of times here and always had a great experience! The staff is really great ! They make you feel that they are happy to see you and make you feel at home right away. Have had to wait a few minutes sometimes for olive oil for the bread but usually right on top of things! Best dishes we like are the braised lamb, the grilled octopus and the gyro platter. Great selection of wines as well!!! My recent visit to Mykonos was truly fantastic from start to finish! We started with a lineup of appetizers. Fried calamari, saganaki and fries with feta. My second time going to Mykonos Greek Restaurant in a month. I gave it 4 stars because of the Avgolemono Lemon Egg Soup, it had too much rice and lemon for my taste. We started out with the lemon soup followed by splitting a Saganaki, we both ordered the Combination Platter that had enough for a second meal. We both ordered dessert. I had Spumoni Ice Cream and my guest had Rice Pudding which she took home after a few spoonfuls. It was so big. The coffee was very good and fresh. Our waiter Alexander was top-notch and very attentive, always around to see if we needed anything. The bus boys were very good as well, making us a new pot of coffee for our refill. read more

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could, but my experience was generally good so I'll round up. I went to Mykonos with my folks on the weekend. We were seated in the outdoor patio because there was going to be a private party indoors later on. It was crowded and loud - which on one hand is a sign that they're popular, but it also means conversation was difficult and I felt like I didn't have much breathing room. Our server was... okay. When she brought us bread, she just dropped it on the table without even looking at us, on her way to the next table. The bread was good, at least. As I mentioned, it was loud and hard to converse, so deciding on appetizers together was difficult and took longer than it would have otherwise. Unfortunately, the waitress had to come back a couple times before we were ready to order, and even then my mom hadn't had a chance to look at the wine list. She eventually was able to order something, but it took a while for the server to come back at that point. When the food was served, it was good, but not amazing. We had saganaki for the appetizer, and unfortunately they don't light it at the table (which seems to be harder and harder to find anymore). My entree was the combo plate, so I got to try several things. It was all good, but not the best I've ever had. My mom got a side of artichokes with her kebab plate, and while they tasted okay, there was a LOT of liquid, to the point where it almost looked like artichoke soup. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience but could have been a bit better. The tables are very close together and I wish there had been a bit more room. I'm not sure what they could have done to mitigate the noise, but it's a bit difficult to enjoy eating out as much when you can barely hear yourself think, much less hear the people at the table with you. Also the prices are a bit high, but that's true just about everywhere now so I'm not going to single them out over that. read more

There are a lot of Greek food places and this stalwart will always be a good choice to go. They have valet parking, because frankly, when they're busy, there's nowhere to park. It's a small lot in front of the restaurant. They have remodeled since the last time we ate there and it looks really nice inside, but the weather was nice, so we sat outside. Our server was nice, but needs to retire. She just looked tired and moved slow and we had no idea if she heard us or not. We commend her for still working. We had a nice dinner. We started with the saganaki. When did they stop lighting this on fire table side? We got it and the fire had already been put out and seemed to have been sitting for a little bit before it was brought to us. Normally it's a little melty and this was just a sad tile of cheese on a plate. It was even served in a sizzling skillet, just on a plate. It was sad. They did bring us fresh baked bread and we kept asking for more. It's fantastic! If a place has good bread, why muck it up with oil and cheese or butter. It's tasty without and theirs is awesome! All was made better in the world, at least, for me, as I followed it up with Avgolrmono soup. There's is still one of the better ones around. The flavoring is just right, not too tart from the lemons, some rice, but not overly so. Just a nice soup to cleanse the pallet. I ordered the Chicken Breast A La Dimitri. It's sauteed in white wine, lemon, and special spices and served with rice. Hey Dimitri, lay off the sauce! My chicken need life preservers. There was so much sauce that the rice was making a chain to help save the chicken from drowning. The flavor was okay and that was probably do to them serving me soup with chicken on a plate instead of lemon chicken. I'm not one who sends food back, but I left half of it because it had drowned and was not worth recovering. My wife got the Greek salad and said it was good (seriously, if you're a Greek restaurant and you screw up a Greek salad, then I don't know how to help you). She said no olives and it wasn't served with olives. Put that in the "win column". We'll go back, as we do like this place. I just will order something different as I'm not a certified lifeguard. read more

I went here one evening for a friends birthday. It was a small group and they weren't too busy. It had nice music- live Greek band and the ambiance was dark/blue light vibe. I started with a Strawberry Daiquiri, which they don't seem to have on the menu. It was strong, but fruity and refreshing- Ordered the flaming cheese as an appetizer and pastitsio for my entree. The food was really authentic and flavorful. I would come back here to try additional items. My main issue was our server. He was really slow and often took forever to get us drinks, food, etc. My entree ended up coming out before my appetizer, which didn't make any sense. I also asked him twice about it since it was taking so long. He didn't really care lol When my appetizer came out like 5 min after my entree- he barely lit it on fire and just placed it down. Other servers gave more of a presentation- maybe he was having a bad day? Regardless, the food was so great I would come back! Overall experience 4/5. read more

Absolutely one of the best greek spots in the area! As a greek who grew up in Greece I can say that everything is super authentic. Very nice decor, amazing service and good wine list. We usually get the avgolemono soup, tzatziki and skordalia (for spreads), grilled octopus, and keftedes (meatballs). So far everything we have tried is good so I don't believe you can go wrong with anything on the menu! The service is always great, our server Meli is amazing too. read more

Mykonos is a great place to celebrate family, friendships and mouthwatering food. I've loved this place for decades. They have a beautiful patio/garden is so relaxing with the Greek vibes. I went last week for an evening of stories and laughs while sharing and loving the different flavors. We started with skordalia. It's a garlic spread with a tart finish and is fantastic on their Greek bread. Then came the saganaki flaming cheese. Wow it's a great appetizer to share . We also shared a small Greek village salad, which has no lettuce but packs plenty of flavor and textures. I love the feta cheese and the Greek olives. Your taste buds will be happy . We shared the dolmades dinner. Grape leave stuffed with a beef lamb and rice mixture and topped with an egg lemon sauce. These flavors combine for an incredibly filling and tasty entrée. We also shared a gyros dinner. One bite and you taste the homemade excellence. This one is on another level as far as quality and seasonings. The service is absolutely phenomenal. I have always been treated as if I were greek and family. What a great evening with one of my favorite people and restaurants. Great job folks! read more

How on earth this place currently has 3.5 stars is beyond me. Everything I've had from here so far has been excellent, but I'll review my favorite 2 items to start. The Avgolemono Soup - Near perfection. The right consistency and full of punch with plenty of lemon. I get this every time I order and you should too. 5/5 Dolmades - I have a VERY hard time finding this dish done correctly. I am Greek and my Aunt makes this a couple times a year for family gatherings just as my YaYa used to when I was young. I was really surprised at how amazing they did and it's what prompted me to write this review. If you love this dish as much as I do you will not be disappointed. The portion is very large and comes with a Greek potato. The cream sauce is just right and the meat flavor is very much what I am used to. 5/5 Since we have a young one I am limited to where I can go out and actually sit down so I can only speak for the food but Mykonos gets 5 stars from me, try them out today! read more

Love this restaurant always great food. Saturday night they were slammed with big parties. It was taking a bit longer so I mention it to the lovely hostess..immediately she made sure our food was coming. They comped us wine, brought a salad, and a free dessert. Fantastic way to make things right. 100% concerned and more than made up for the slower than normal service. She even stopped by after to make sure things went better. Don't let the dated exterior fool you. Yes, this place is still open for business, and yes, the food is fresh and served piping hot! Everything we tried was very tasty. The saganaki was salty, hot, and cheesy, and the pork tenderloin appetizer was nicely charred and delivered savory flavor. I tried a special that Saturday night, and it was chicken, spinach, and cheese wrapped in phyllo dough with rice as a side. Huge portion for about $19, and I had enough leftovers for 2 more sittings! I thoroughly enjoyed the lemon martini I ordered. My girls split a pasta dish with chicken tenders on top, which was basic and pricey at about $23, but they enjoyed it, and it was well prepared and kid friendly. Note there isn't a kids' menu at all though. Pre-dinner loaf of bread is served, but ours was refrigerated. The energy here was upbeat. Interior is remodeled, and there's an enclosed, heated patio section too, which is on the loud side. Note the parking lot is extremely congested and a headache to navigate! Our waitress seemed stressed and was a bit curt and gave only the minimal attention needed to our table. She had brought a platter of soup over to us, and when I asked what kind it was (assuming it came with our entrees), she gruffly answered with whatever the flavor of the day was and added "you ordered it...". When I told her we indeed did not, she just took the bowls back and walked away without a word. Overall, recommend if in the area, but Plateia has them beat across the board. read more

Very nice place . Nice decor. They have cloth table clothes. The village salad is very tasty. The Greek bread was perfect . The wait staff were attentive . They kept filling our water classes . We had wine that was a combustion of two wines. The spinach pie tasted better today as I reheated it in the oven for lunch. I will probably go try the lunch special's. Nice delicious resturant.
