I think the only problem I had was with the app. I had previously utilized public storage at another unit a year ago and the system would not allow me to use the previous account information and I had to create a new account completely. I give five stars to the attendants at the location. And two stars for the IT people that created an app that cannot be adjusted to fit someone with previous history.

The service was fine, but it wasn't even as friendly or approachable as staff at less expensive Marriott's in other parts of the state. The gym was solid, but several machines were down, which led to me having to run outside. I'd also suggest maybe a water bubbler instead of small water bottles to reduce plastic waste? I'm not Big Green, but it's a bit wasteful. The pool and hot tub area were fine, but for. April open later at night, the lighting is very bad. I was by myself on the rooftop a little later, and when it got darker I just didn't feel safe. I didn't see cameras, it wasn't lit well, slip and falls could be easy, and with that isolation, what if someone got hurt out there later at night? The elevators on certain floors were hard to work - the buttons weren't triggering requests, and I am not a fan of pressing a button that creates an electric current too hard out of shock risk. At the end, one of co-workers who has never and cannot smoke or vape got a $500 charge for smoking. She uses iodine for health purposes, and that with the steam could easily trigger the smoke alert. I also get that it could be actual smoke, but then why is nobody calling the room or coming to the room to investigate or advise the person the alarm went off? Just the surprise charge at checkout that you hope people don't catch? And then they made it impossible to speak to anyone about the issue to get the charge reversed. She got passed around to 5 different people and had to wait for 2 people to get back to 1 of the 5 people over a course of days. Well she said that she would refund and look into it. Days later, I check my bank and sure enough, no refund. What horrible service and an even worse way to treat a customer. I called back as soon as I saw no refund had been processed and got a refund BUT with a balance of $0.06. What? Why do I owe for something I didn't purchase? I went to my room, and noticed a full keurig set up, plenty of towels, and a clean shower. Perfect, time to eat and pass out. Upon waking up, i went to breakfast and there was quite the spread of food, a 3d printer thing for pancakes, breakfast burritos, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, fruit, cereal, you name it. I had a decent amount of food and got back on the road. It was a great stay, great breakfast, and great woman working the desk. I called at 2:00PM and they were here at 3:00 PM for the move. The man was so accommodating and very careful with all of the furniture, they wrapped everything and took it off after relocating it. They were efficient, professional, had all needed equipment for the move and listened to directions on the placement of the pieces. I have moved over 17 times in my life and this was the best experience of all. The men are respectful and friendly.

To anyone considering Square Cow Movers: do yourself a favor and look elsewhere…read more I did my homework. I spoke with multiple moving companies. In the end, it was Square Cow's overly confident answering service that convinced me to go with them. Big mistake. I hired them to move a large bedroom set from a second-floor bedroom to the garage--something I clearly communicated was not a simple task. I had over four phone calls, sent multiple photos, and explicitly discussed the risks and challenges involved. Each time, I was told everything was "in the notes" and the movers would be properly equipped with straps and the right tools. I even spoke directly with the operations manager the day before the move. He reassured me--again--that his crew would be fully prepared. He even advised me not to purchase additional insurance, claiming it was an easy job and not worth the extra cost. Then moving day arrived. The crew showed up completely unprepared. No straps. No proper equipment. Within minutes, they dropped the first piece of furniture, severely damaging it. The rest of the move was borderline reckless. The crew themselves admitted that Square Cow doesn't provide them with tools or care about their safety--or the customers' belongings. According to them, "Square Cow only cares about making money." After my experience, I believe it. I filed a damage claim, and now I'm stuck in their slow, unresponsive process that may take up to 90 days to maybe--maybe--get a fraction of what the damage is worth. Bottom line: they talk a good game on the phone, but they have zero follow-through. The left hand has no clue what the right is doing, and they clearly don't equip their crews to do the job safely or professionally. Their so-called claims department is a joke. Don't fall for the sales pitch. There are better, more honest companies out there. Square Cow Movers is not one of them.
