Cozy bed and breakfast, bar and restaurant under one roof. One of the best places for dinner in Eureka. A great selection of steak, seafood and vegetarian dishes. The filet mignon and bonsai noddles were excellent. The bar area is rightfully named 'Hideaway Lounge', but hardly a hole-in-the-wall. Good spirits and a repectable wine list make this bar a step above most in the area. read more

The food, as usual, was excellent. The oysters in the shooters were enormous, fresh and deliciously briny. The lamb chops were perfectly prepared. The wine list was varied and reasonably priced. The server seemed scattered and distracted, however, and even though there was only one other table of guests, she kept forgetting basic things. We overlooked this detail because the source of her distraction was blaringly obvious. The bartender ranted on throughout our entire time there, grousing loudly about her disappointing tips from the night before, her working conditions, her fellow employees, and, and, and. She complained to any and all staff who came into the bar, as well as to a party seated next to us. It made for an overall toxic atmosphere and a rather disappointing evening. This is a must when visiting Eureka Springs. I've been all over the globe and this was hands down the best dining experience I've had while traveling. I said what I said. My husband and I showed up with our 2-yr old and 9-month old, and quickly realized we were the only patrons with kids in our party. Not to worry. We were seated in the cutest nook that gave us great visibility, but also some privacy in cases our kids acted like, well--kids. The menus light up, which was a big hit with me AND my toddler. Our waiter Andy suggested the Curried stew, but also said the Cioppino was quite good. I ordered the King Crab special and was floored by how flavorful it was. It paired so nicely with the Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Prices were reasonable. Now for the best part (drum roll please) The Music. Oh my word I danced in my seat all night until I finally dragged my husband to go dance with me. To whoever curated the music list *chef's kiss*. Al Green, Anita Baker, Guy, Sade, Patsy Cline, Next, After 5, and so much more. Whenever you're in Eureka Springs, go check them out. I hear the chocolate martinis are divine. read more

Even though before New Year's Eve, I have enjoyed my encounters at Rogue Tavern, I must say I have altered my view. Around 11pm on New Years Eve, myself and 5 other people in my party walked into Rogue because we had called ahead and were told they would be open till Midnight that evening. The open sign was on, so we entered. When we walked into the bar area, there were two couples at the bar as well as the woman bartender and a gentleman with a beard. We were given the impression we were not to be served or that "we can give you a shot, but that's it," and asked, "do we have money?" We then proceeded to leave and told them that if they were closed they should have turned the open sign off. We were treated very poorly by the woman bartender and the man with the beard. Truly disappointed in Rogue for the way they treated us. We were in Eureka to celebrate the new year, and actually had a splendid time and spent our money at Brews. They accommodated all 6 of us quite nicely until well after midnight. That is customer service at its finest. We were happy to spend our money there since we were shoed out of your establishment. I thought others should know so they don't waste their time and money on people who obviously don't see a good thing when it walks through the door. We frequent Eureka quite a bit, but will no longer be coming to Rogue. read more

Horrible service. I had a very Tough steak with all of our sides being cold and the kitchen refused to fix it. Over $170 for garbage. The place is so run down and trashy! The staff is so rude and acts like this happens a lot. Rogues manor is not what it used to be. It's run down dirty sub par and extremely overpriced! read more

My husband and I were in Eureka Springs for the most important day of our lives, our Weddding Day. Although it has snowed terribly several days before we arrived, it was the most beautiful, serene and peaceful place, we were in awe. Our wedding dinner was planned for Rogues Manor. We can honestly say....we will NEVER return!!! At first our waiter was wonderful but, once we were served with the basics.....nothing. We did not see our waiter for at least 15 minutes. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. Not only did we pay over $200 for a party of 4 to eat what we thought, would be a magnificent meal, not once did our waiter ask us how our meal was. The steaks are normal price. But for some reason, the seafood is ridiculously expensive for Arkansas. $14 for a shrimp cocktail with 4 shrimp = $3.50 per shrimp (not jumbo, not extra large, but medium shrimp). Oyster dinner? $40 for an 8 piece oyster meal (3 raw, 3 cooked, and a fritter) so they are $4 per oyster. Wine is normal price, steak was delicious. But this is a 1 and done experience. Waitress was attentive and did a good job. If money is no object, go. But for 2 drinks, 1 iced-tea, one oyster dinner, and one NY strip, around $130.00 w/o tip. To be fair, there were options for chicken at prices under $20.00. read more

Always our favorite place to eat in Eureka Springs since dining there on our wedding night. The elegant romantic atmosphere makes it ideal for couples, and we enjoy the engaging wait staff, who consistently give us attentive service. My husband uses their lamb shank as his standard when he tries this dish other places around the country. I order the fried oysters (yes, in the middle of the Ozarks!), which are scrumptious and about as good as you'll find anywhere inland. Good wine selection, too, and don't forget the bread pudding. Definitely a restaurant for special meals or just a delicious dinner when you're craving something out of the ordinary. read more

The food was great (although the selection of vegetarian dishes consisted of 3 items, all pasta, pretty paltry) but the service was obnoxious. The server started off fine, personable, but tapered into awful pretty quickly. Items arrived slowly, she forgot two drinks, failed to ring up my husband's $35 entree, which we called to her attention. We then asked if she would split the check as we were dining with another couple, at which point she turned around and shouted, "next time, do the world a favor and tell your server first." The world? Seriously? Do the WORLD a favor? Forget poverty, genocide, the economy, all of that- apparently the world's well-being rests in making work easier for this sloppy server. I worked in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender for twelve and a half years. I certainly understand that the public can be awful and everybody has bad days. But this was inexcusable. My meal was great, but there was nothing about it that would draw me back to this establishment after an outburst like that to an absolutely normal request. Other staff members were milling about, no response. It was the most ridiculous treatment I've received in a restaurant. In fact, I have literally never seen anyone in any sort of establishment speak that way to a customer, ever. read more

This was by far the worst experience here in Eureka. First walking in was not a warm welcome which was rare to find here. The waitress almost upon our first sit down spilled an entire iced tea all over my suit jacket. I do understand accidents may happen so I brushed it off. Caroline was very prompt to take care of the issue and was very pleasant. Our group put in their order and when everything came out two of us had ordered the fettuccine chicken alfredo. The first bite we took from both plates tasted soured. Several others tasted and agreed something was not quite right. We explained to the waitress that we both weren't happy and asked if we could please order something new. Caroline was very apologetic and had us order something else on the menu instead. Our original fettuccine meals were brought back to us when Suzie a secondary waitress explained they used "fresh" parmesan. She spoke to our entire group as if we had never tasted something fresh before. I have had fresh parmesan, but the taste was spoiled. She had the worst attitude and when I explained to her that I didn't appreciate her tone of voice she sarcastically said, "well i'll just go get the big boss." and stormed off. About 15 min later the OWNER came and asked what the problem was and I began telling him the situation. In the middle of telling him the story he said, "cut to the chase what else do you want to eat." He kept telling me to sit down and enjoy. I really just wanted to explain our experience so that their team can take this as constructive criticism. If we went to any other restaurant including places that don't charge what they do we would have been brought another meal and have it comped in some way with no questions. I felt as though I had to argue with the owner and Suzie just to get my voice heard. I do not suggest this place EVER. It was a waste of money and time. I feel sorry for the employees and don't recommend this to anyone. There is a reason they were able to seat such a large party when no other major restaurant in town could. Their customer service and quality of food do not justify their prices. read more

I have travelled to Eureka Springs several times a year for over ten years for both business and pleasure. Usually, one of my dining experiences includes Rogues Manor because of the funky ambiance and certain favorite dishes including curried seafood chowder and fried oysters. Sometimes I have brought large parties there, sometimes a date, and sometimes just myself. Usually, I'm able to overlook the obnoxious service by a certain waitress. But, on recent occasions her treatment of me was down right rude and insulting. What a shock to subjected to such abuse when having chosen to patronize this restaurant expecting to enjoy the experience. This treatment of myself and others is done with other employees and diners present. After suffering this abuse on my most recent visit, I asked to speak to the owner who I've met on many occasions. The waitress said he wasn't there, yet I knew he was as I had called and spoke with him prior to arriving. Although I called and registered my complaint with the owner while dining at another restaurant, I won't consider dining at Rogues Manor again - at least not until this horrible woman is no longer employed there. read more
