Not sure what took me so long to give a review of this gem of a place but better late than never…read more I've come to 1 of 1 a few times so far and it's safe to say I've tried most things on the menu. Real fresh, quality, homemade ingredients mixed in with passion and love for food with delightful twists on memorable sandwiches. Bread is fantastic and so are the awesome drinks to go with your meal. Some of my favorites are the chicken Caesar sandwich, No Sleep till Gravesend, Kitchen Confidential and Grilled Cheese and in the winter, a delicious tomato soup. They also have breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and you don't want to pass up the yummy Brioche rolls the delicious combos go on. I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista. It is always great to find a new coffee place. I expect to be a loyal local at Velvette Brew. They also host music events and have a collaboration with Cry Baby Ice Cream.
