This was my 3rd time getting services here. I always get the basic pedicure and the basic manicure and brow waxing. I have always been satisfied with the service and my results. I went to Victoria's today and told them what I wanted and picked out regular nail polish as usual. The nail tech asked if I wanted Gel and I told her no because I do not normally get gel and I did not have time to devote to it. She then asked if I wanted dip powder and once again I told her no. After my pedicure she asked again about using gel or powder for my fingernails and I told her no. She then proceeded to scratch up my fingernail and then she starts dipping them in white powder. I told her I wanted the same polish as on my toes. She said this is clear because tour nails are uneven. I wa thinking weird clear polish. Then she dips them in colored powder. Obviously she figured she was just going to keep doing what SHE wanted. Not only did I not want it or ask for it she then acted like she did not understand what I was telling her. I also told her that now I was going to be late getting my grandson from school. I paid my bill and even topped her but I will NEVER go back there again. I caution others to do the same. I went because a girl was handing out blowouts outside a supermarket that had a discount. The place is nice but I feel like it was very expensive because they charged me twice for the colored gel with a price of 40 apart from the pedicure. Apart from that, the girl who did my nails did a French manicure and put glitter on my nails that I didn't ask for and that's what they charged me. It was 10 for the French manicure and 5 for the other color. In total I paid 160 $. It's a lot of money. For what reason do they say they will give a discount so they won't be able to have any clients, nothing more than complaints? read more

I was treated to a pedicure for my birthday so I had never heard of this place. I live in Kenner so that probably why & I was surprised to find out that this business has been here 40 years. I visit Metairie quite frequently, but never knew about this place. This area of Metairie Road is building up. I also found out that they just recently updated their salon. It's very nice inside & quite large. The customer service was impeccable. I loved the Signature pedicure. They used hot stones & gave us a massage on our calves & feet. Got a Signature Pedicure done and it was great! It included hot towels, hot stones, sugar scrub and a massage. The lady was more on the gentle side of massages but it was still good! The chairs are comfy and they have massagers on it. The environment is very clean and the lady didn't talk much (which I like because I had work to do). The polish job was good too! Overall, it was great and I'll be coming back if I'm near by needing a pedicure! read more

It was my first time at this nail salon and I do not recommend it. This is the worst my nails have ever been done. Firstly, I had the oldest lady in the salon doing my nails and I had to tell her multiple times that my nails were uneven and that she was hurting me. My acrylic nails are way too thick. She cut my nails way too short. I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and the length I wanted before she did them and she did the complete opposite of the picture. Keep in mind I had to pay over $70 for these nails which was a complete waste of my money. I will not be returning here and do not recommend going here. read more

They weren't very sanitary in how they were handling my nails (the technician nicked me and used no antiseptic or anything...and she kept using tools (that weren't just being used on me) even while I was bleeding. What was meant to be a relaxing experience turned out to be a pedicure from hell. Very friendly staff but it took almost a hour and a half for a simple dip manicure. They weren't busy, I was the only one in the store. Technician was very slow. The dip looked okay, I wasn't completely satisfied due to bubbles and unevenness. Then two of my nails chipped less than a week after. Complete manicure ruined less than 2 weeks after due to all the nails that chipped. Will not be returning. read more

Been coming here for a LONG time, although not as frequently. Yes, Victoria can sometimes be rough but she has other employees so just ask for someone easier. Good prices and she is accommodating and also a convenient location in old Metairie. Good place if you like having ongoing positive relationships with people that you do business with.
