Would definitely not recommend booking those two back tables-the angles are are weird and would make it difficult to enjoy the magic show. Everyone was served dinner first followed by a magic show by for about 40 minutes. The food was fantastic! The prime rib was cooked perfectly, tender, paired well with the horseradish. Definitely something nice to do for a special occasion, but on the pricey side if full price. THE SETUP Such a crazy fun environment that propels you back in time to some Medieval Castle-style Banquet Room! (Not quite - what was it with horses and Knight? "Knight's Table"? Not quite THAT elaborate, but still so.much.fun!) The guest list was mixed: there were 12 people in Bambi's party crew, and then there were two (2) smaller parties of six (6) each so there was total of 24(?) people (there were additions/subtractions of peeps leaving/coming off & on throughout the evening within each group). There was of course, the Banquet dinner! And then there was an aftershow (during dessert) with a bona fide Las Vegas magician who apparently flies in every Thursday to do this midweek show. THE FOOD! The courses were quite elaborate! Ahead of time, Bambi got our preferences for the main course (pretty much the same for the side dishes for each main course): Filet Mignon, Seasoned Chicken, Fish(?), and a Vegetable Lasagna. Very Unique, Enchanting, Fun & Delicious! I took my daughter there in 7/26 during their 50% off Summer Special; which was a great deal to try it out. It was worth every penny! From the outside it doesn't look like a restaurant- but inside it is Beautifully decorated in an Elegant, dark Victorian theme! Once the chamber doors open, you are lead by the Hostess to your seat at a large dining table with approximately 20 guests. The 5-course dinner is Exquisite and carefully prepared and includes an appetizer, seasonal salad (ours had Summer strawberries), a palet cleanser Sorbet, your entree/veggies, then dessert. There are several entrees to choose from. We had prime rib was 2" thick; cooked to Perfection! Our Hostess was incredible - she was very attentive and made everyone feel special. After our dessert was cleared, a Magician appeared and the Magic show began! The dinner and show takes about 3 hours. We were very impressed. I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea at first, but since it was his birthday, we made his wish come true! Ordering tickets on the website was easy and straightforward. The dining room is intimate, with one large communal table and two high-top tables for couples. We arrived about five minutes before doors opened. I was honestly surprised by how cool the decor was. It's a little cheesy, but it totally works. The lighting, ambiance, and overall vibe pull you in and make it fun. You can't help but enjoy it. Our two hosts were personable and professional. They served all the dishes and explained the rules for the evening. Once everyone finished eating, the magic show began. The food was super delicious and I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. The prime rib is absolutely the way to go. It was soooo good, and the sides were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also offer chicken and pasta. I saw a few people order those, and they didn't look as appealing, but the prime rib definitely delivered. The cheesecake for dessert was amazing and perfect ending to the meal ! It's definitely on the pricier side, but the food and overall experience made it worth it. They also run gift certificate specials so be sure to look for those. Pricing may seem high at first. BUT take into consideration what the evening will entail. This is a first class dinner AND a first rate show for your evening. The seating is very limited and they book up quickly. The interior dining venue is elaborate and 'magical' in design and decor. Perfect for a magic show! Our hostesses were friendly, humorous and specific about how the evening would proceed. All of our fellow guests were super friendly, talkative and all of us had a great time and conversations throughout the night. The 5 course dinner (4 plus a palate cleanser) was excellent and a tremendous amount of food was served. Most people took home food for later. I was rather surprised as how large the portions were. And, it was all well prepared and very good. The entire room of diners were all quite impressed. Now, on to the show.... After our meals were completed, and dishes cleared, our magician host came out and the show began. Experiencing a magician performing up close is something to behold. He was excellent with his talents, and had everyone in stitches with the comedy. This is an audience participation event which is fantastic. Loved the experience I had at mystique! My wife and I went here for a company dinner and had a wonderful time. First, the ambiance and setting were enchanting and mystical. I felt as if I was at the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland and I half expected the dining room to start spinning and gargoyles start moving around. Service was wonderful. Throughout the five-course meal, two servers attended to our party of at least 20 people with speed, care, and hospitality. I felt very taken care of. The best part of the night was absolutely the food. The five courses we were served were delicious and looked amazing. I ordered the prime rib and it was perfect. Tender but not chewy, flavorful, and above all cooked to perfection. The cut was bigger than my face and I ate the whole thing. The executive chef really hit out of the park. Best meal I have had in a while. Last but not least, the magic at the end of the night was fun and mystifying. We learned there are different themes depending on the season (Jan-Aug is normal decor, Sept and Oct is Halloween and Nov and Dec is Christmas). I recommend the Mac and cheese. We had a group of 6 grab tickets for the Manifestations show at Mystique Dining that celebrates the works of Edgar Allen Poe. It was a very intimate setting for about 20 people total and included a 5 course meal as well as a magic show. Expect the experience to last about 2.5 hours. The dinner was excellent and included a bacon-wrapped fig app, a salad, a sorbet palate cleanser, main course, and a dessert. I was impressed with the food and the generous portion of the main dish. I had the prime rib which was enormous and had a flavorful crust. Dave Cox was the magician for the night and there was lots of audience participation. He was fantastic! I definitely will recommend this place to my friends because the aesthetic, the food quality and magician entertainment are all spot on. The venue is beautiful decorated, very mysterious and magical. I love the dragon decor and wish they had a dragon-themed event (show). Prime rib dinner was delicious. Only regret was no choice on any of the courses and dessert was a caramel cheesecake. The cheesecake did not appeal to my cheesecake-loving daughter at all but the other 3 (non-cheesecake-loving) of us actually loved it. Service was excellent. The show was still very good, but we booked before the magician was announced and he turned out to be the same one as last year and it was a very similar show. If we book again, we will make sure it's someone new. Deducting one star because: The seats closest to the magician are VIP seats and cost more; I don't know if all the magicians do it, but this magician always asks the VIP people to trade seats with people in the furthest seats so "everyone can get a chance". I think that's ridiculous. #1) I paid for VIP seats and I don't want to be sitting in the back for any amount of time. #2) Our family wants to sit together, not with strangers (esp. given Covid/flu/whatever). If the magician wants to give the rear seats a better view, walk back and do some tricks back there. read more

My husband and I went on a late Saturday night for my birthday celebration, both excited to see a little magic. The food initially appeared good, and we were happy with our five-course meal--until we got home. Shortly after arriving, right before bed, I became violently ill with food poisoning. I took the worst of it, going through bouts of vomiting everything left from the dinner in my stomach up and suffering from excruciating cramps while exploding at the same time. Unfortunately, a few minutes after I claimed a bathroom for the night, my husband had to rush to the other one, experiencing his own bout of food poisoning. Even into the next day, while my husband seemed to have recovered, I was still suffering from a sore, cramped lower body. Which is an absolute shame and worried for the other strangers that were with us there last night. Whatever Mystique Dining is serving, something is seriously spoiled and putting patrons at risk. To be fair, it should be less than 100 for each person because as I've read from other reviewers, I would have to agree, the show was on the shorter side, The magician seemed tired. He is performing a full day on his own. There was interactive performances, which drew the crowd in and was fun, the waiting room is small and seats a bit uncomfortable. With all the money they are making, a nice remodel would do or even more appealing decor. The restroom was extremely filthy. I didn't want to touch anything. They should spruce up the restroom after every show. The hosts were sweet but both seemed to have colds, raspy voice and were very close and personal. I didn't want to catch anything if she was sick. Inside, where show takes place, is actually decorated a lot more interesting than the waiting room, although they could probably use all that money they make towards some really appealing and less costume like decor. The food was decent but not worth the money they requested per plate, plus you're rushed. The food comes out, eat fast because before you know it, boxes appear and you're preparing your doggy bag. The appetizer was not that great. My favorite was the cheesecake. The show was fun and entertaining, but yes rather quick. The magician doesn't have much room to perform nor a stage, but it works. It's a small space, it would work out if there were more rooms and a bigger waiting area or more entertainment, like the magic castle. When I arrived home, I ended up sick from the food, something I ate, wasn't cooked well or who knows what, but it didn't end well. Would I recommend this place- eh.. for a night out but it's super expensive, but to try over and over, no. They need a lot of remodeling and renovatiing and cleaning of bathrooms and figuring out the time schedule, maybe create one so people can see that on the program. Food was I'm going to be transparent, I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was honey! Food was seasoned to perfection. They serve 5 courses of a perfectly curated menu. Appetizer was apples drizzled with caramel and bacon wrapped dates. I could eat 10 more of those dates! Second course was a robust salad with mixed greens, feta, cranberries and this lovely poppy seed dressing. Now main course I chose was Cornish hen and a side of their gourmet mac and cheese served alongside asparagus. That Cornish was so well seasoned I chomped it to the bone! Not a sliver of meat left unconsumed. Mac and cheese was satisfying and the asparagus was snappy how we like it! My friends got the prime rib and they asked for it cooked medium well (ask early), and the restaurant accommodated them. When I tell you that prime rib was seasoned so well and served with a delectable au jus!! I had to get a couple bites in. And it was HUGE! They said it's not usually that big of a cut which could serve a family of 4. Maybe you're supposed to have a little more class but my friends and I tried each other's food. I got my moneys worth and don't feel bad about it either. Now on to dessert! Cheesecake was served with a peach compote and caramel and it was yummy! Let's talk service! Each course is brought out one by one. The servers are funny and polite. And if the food is too much to eat in one sitting (which it will be), they offer to go boxes! Now on to the main event! Both were well seasoned and came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. This was the best part of the multi course meal. The dessert was cheese cake, no other option. I am not a fan of cheesecake, so that went into a takeout container. Limited beer and wine selection, so we brought our own wine. Corkage currently is a reasonable 20 dollars. We enjoyed the magic show, but it was very short, about 30 minutes long.
