    Girls dinner.

Went for my first time & we did the girls dinner. Loved it all. What a great concept. I will be back. The decor inside is so cute and comfy. The food presentation is adorable. Our server was attentive, I can't remember his name.

5 star service all the way around. Lexi at the bar area, was super sweet. They serve my favorite wine, seghesio. The desserts were amazing, especially the lemon cake & the s'more cheesecake. A very fun & comfortable vibe.

Came here to experience the Miracle Bar (Holiday decorations) post Christmas. No wait to get in on a Sunday evening. Plenty of space. Decor was nice but why was there a 3% credit card surcharge added? Only had one drink here and it was the Koala Lalala. Refreshing tequila cocktail. Not strong at all. Not sure I'll be back. If you decide to go just be aware of that added charge.

We'll be back for the Coconut Hot Chocolate! Popped in on a Saturday morning after ice skating nearby. What a great place to hang out when you're ready for a cozy drink in a lodge afterward! The decorations were so fun! Sometimes Christmas decor can be a bit overdone but this was the perfect touch of class and nostalgia. Employees were kind, helpful, and genuinely looked like they enjoyed being there. Who wouldn't!? If you haven't been yet this year, you have 3 more days!

This place was really cool. The vibe was great and the mix was early 2000s. It is like a modern lodge vibe. I got two different drinks. The Folsom 75 and then another lemony drink with egg white and both were delicious. I would come back here. The bathrooms could use a little attention but other than that it was a nice spot.

We only had drinks but they were all awesome! Not cheap but well made cocktails, friendly bartenders, nice decor and good music! Can't wait to come back

We loved this place! Ambience, service and food was fantastic. We come in and were greeted by the friendly staff who are really so warm. The place is so well decorated for Christmas. The overall decor and the rich blue color is so wonderful! Staff is very mindful that we have a little one with us and brings a kiddy cup without even asking for it. Our server, Megan, was so friendly. We order drinks & the bone marrow to start. I get the steak and frites, my wife gets the lamb and my kid gets the cheeseburger. The food is delicious, so are the drinks. Staff is really attentive and we loved this place a lot and will definitely be visiting back again.

I seen this place advertised on instagram thought I'd try it out for a date night. You walk in through the back of the building but instantly taken back to a mountain lodge. The decor was on point! Parking is not the best. Finding a spot can be difficult. Started off with some fabulous cocktails I got a dirty martini and my husband got a stabin cabin which wow the presentation! The filet mignon cooked to perfection and the shrimp and grits had a chipotle tomato sauce- yum! Food service was a touch slow but they had only been open a week. Our server was attentive and sweet. We were also greeted by this lovely couple dressed in period clothing. Great time!

Located at the heart of historic Folsom. There was plenty of space. Came here to try out the Miracle Christmas bar. The decor was nicely decorated for Christmas. Drinks were decent but nothing special. Brussel sprouts were good. The chef also made a wonderful custom vegan dish.

Due to great Yelp reviews we decided to visit for our NY Eve dinner. We made reservations and upon checking in we were guided to our booth in the back dining room. I had no idea there was a dining room of good size back there. I remember this place from previous Escape bar and I guess this space was used for their escape games? Ok back to food, our starters were the seasonal Veges and Truffle fries with caviar. Omg, both were so delish n flavorful! The bar had a specialty Holiday drink menu with tiki mugs for purchase. Our entrees are pictured below. I enjoyed the shrimp n grits in that savory gravy, omg! Ribeye was done perfectly, tender, and seasoned well! Skirt steak was tasty but not as tender as ribeye. I would probably not get that next time. Overall we were very pleased with our selections and would definitely visit again.

Food took a while before it came out due to a large party. But the food was worth the wait. The presentation was pretty and good quality. . Trio seafood platter which was great. Love the fresh taste of ceviche with shrimp. They had great oysters with a mignotte sauce. As well the blackened seared ahi tuna was fresh. Loved how it was served in a toolbox box. . Lamb leg on a plate with mash potato which was creamy and yummy. Loved how the plate look like a Christmas dinner. Loved the fresh broccolini and pomegranate sauce too. . Great seafood pasta with pesto. The pasta is home made. The sauce is creamy. Loved the generous portion. For the seafood. . Also loved the great environment which looks like a ski lodge like your up in the mountains having dinner at a friend's place. Love the fancy cocktails here, one had a bubble with a smoke when it pops. As well the smoked bourbon cocktail which was strong and presentation was amazing. Overall I will be back to enjoy a nice dinner with friends in soon. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

I was so excited to try this place tonight! The location is perfect! The downstairs dining area definitely needs some heating and cooling regulation- we walked into a sauna. BUT... the staff were amazing, even the one in training. Food was really good, we would definitely give it another visit!!! The steak/pasta 'special' was to die for!!! Photos show filet and mashed potatoes, beet salad with shrimp, the 'steak pasta Special', and fried Brussel sprouts appetizer! Flavors are on point!!!!

We had a reservation on a Friday night and arrived 10 minutes early, but were told to come back closer to our reservation time and that we weren't allowed to wait at the bar or grab a drink since it was reservation-only. After being seated 15 min after our reservation, service was very slow. Getting drinks was difficult, appetizers were just okay, and the wait for our entrées and additional drinks was long enough that we decided to ask for the check early. Unfortunately, the pacing and service really detracted from what should have been an enjoyable night out to see the Miracle Christmas pop up.

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

Tucked behind an unassuming alley in Old Roseville sits a green door marked only with the number…read more323. No signs. No bell. No sliding peek window. No sound leaking through the walls. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

We each chose flights of wine to accompany our entrees. Despite including three wines per flight, the pours were fairly generous. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and came out more quickly than we expected, considering that the place was almost full. Our server checked back just enough and took care of any special requests promptly, even offering to exchange one of the wines (out of six!) that we didn't like for something better suited to our taste. The pace was leisurely which was fine given the good food and wine accompanied by the relaxed vibe of the live music. And the prices were quite reasonable given the quality of both the food and service. A dark-ish old school atmosphere added to its charm for us Baby Boomers, but even younger diners seemed to be enjoying themselves. As for us, we highly recommend it!

If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers
