    The sweetest note
    Amy N.

This review is long overdue! I was scrolling through my photos and realized I never left one. We came to Yard House to celebrate my daughter's middle school promotion with our family, and the experience started on the best note. The girls at the front were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They all genuinely congratulated my daughter and even took the time to write her a heartfelt note. It's always the little things that leave the biggest impression, and that simple gesture absolutely melted my heart. We ordered a couple of burgers, the Korean BBQ noodles, and the jambalaya, and everything was delicious. My daughter also got to celebrate with a brookie for dessert, which made her day even more special. The energy at this location is unmatched. I've visited twice now, both a little after 1 p.m., and the service has been consistently amazing. It wasn't very busy either time, though I did notice the outdoor patio fills up quickly. Thankfully, the indoor dining area is spacious, and we were seated almost immediately. The people who work here truly make the experience. It all starts at the front door, and when you're greeted with such genuine kindness and positive energy, it carries throughout the entire meal. That's exactly what we've experienced every time we've visited, and it's why we'll definitely be back.

We had an awesome experience here! ... ask to be seated in joes section- he is a high energy waiter with excellent recommendations! Everything was great from the poke nachos to the super chocolatey dessert! My husband loved the fish and chips... it was one of the best he has had! My salad was tasty with the salmon glaze and pineapples and rice croutons our drinks were fantastic... the patio was a bit sunny til the sun hid behind the building but it was a nice atmosphere not too loud! Inside seems loud with a hopping bar! Our waiter tried his best to move the umbrellas to block the sun! Overall a great evening! E will be back often! Keep up the good work

Great place to stop by for a meal. My kids like the pizza meal and it's enough to split. The service is good and there are a lot of beer options if you are a drinker. I recommend the tacos or a hamburger.

My Husband and I went here for lunch at 11am on Monday with oir newborn. We sat in the outdoor patio area and our server was one of the best waiters I've experienced in a while (I wish I remembered his name. Drinks were never empty checked on us enough to not feel forgotten but not over doing it. Food was great I had the Garlic Lobster noodles and my husband had one of the new summer burgers with fries. We shared the lettuce wraps (no tofu) as our appetizer. Great option for a meal! We will be back.

I did not get a fair chance to truly experience the Yard House in Boca Raton after an amazing Yelp game event in Palm Beach County, Florida Boca Raton specifically 10 years ago. Good things, no great amazing things happen to those people who wait and yesterday was a blessing and an absolute joy to visit the Yard House in Folsom, California . The food was extraordinary . The Ahi Tuna Stack was crazy yummy and really bigger than the photo. It came in this amazing spicy gorgeous sauce that just made the edamame pop even more; the tuna was delicious. My barbecue bacon burger was juicy and just so scrumptious.. It was the perfect size and the accompanying fries were delicious, crisp and served hot.. Love, love, loved our waitress Marissa . What a beautiful soul who took such good care of.us . She just had this infectious smile and laugh and energy. From the first moment she approached the table to every time she came and checked up on us, which was a lot.. I barely put my almost empty first glass of Diet Coke down and she was there with a refill literally in .0039 seconds. She recommended the fried onions as a topping for the burger and boy did it make it crunchy and even better.. extra barbecue sauce no problem. Simply fantastic, so very attentive and exclusive service.. huge props to the hostess Cati for her warmth and spunk. We sat in a booth right by the bar, a very comfortable booth with the TV on top with the Germany Paraguay soccer game playing, and every team member who walked by was happy, smiled and said hello . Loved the vibe.Loved the 80's music as I sang along ok tried to sing along with New Order, Boy George & Duran Duran. I came in on this." Blue Monday." and was " Hungry like the Wolf". Left just thinking of " Sweet Dreams." Parking can be a bit tough. Please do not park in the 15 minute only spaces. The security is all over and very active on their carts. What better way to spend part of a beautiful afternoon than enjoying lunch on the patio at Yard House in Folsom? The outdoor seating creates a great atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I ordered the Mediterranean Salmon with cauliflower rice, and it was cooked to perfection. The salmon was fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the cauliflower rice. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, which is always something I appreciate. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food arrived hot and fresh. If you're looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful patio to enjoy the California weather, Yard House in Folsom is definitely worth a visit. Accessibility note : There are plenty of accessible tables available for wheelchair users, making it easy to enjoy both the patio and the dining experience comfortably. Thanks again, Yard House!

First visit! We enjoyed a relaxing few hours on the patio the Friday afternoon before Mother's Day. The weather was perfect and the food was great. It was relatively quiet in terms of people so that was super nice! Because we entered through a gate directly onto the patio, we did not experience the inside vibe at all. The patio looks out ovee a public area with ping pong tables and lots of grass. Families, especially the little ones, were out in full force enjoying it all. I was only hit once by a plastic ping pong ball during our visit. Just kidding.:) Actually it was fun watching all the comings and goings of all the happy peeps. So 100-plus draft beers is one of the features and passions of the Yard House according to the bio... along with an array of delicious sounding craft cocktails from which to choose. A minimal wine list unfortunately. Nothing to write home about. I found a Sonoma County, Chalk Hill Chardonnay which was satisfactory. I would probably go for the cocktail next time. I was most impressed with the customer service. The hostess who seated us was nice and welcoming. So a great big shout out to Cate! She just set the tone for a great time. Our wait person, Emily, also went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered about food and drinks. She honored our request to change the bread type on our order of the Stacked Turkey Club. That was definitely appreciated. (And by the way, the club sandwich was soooo good and fresh!) She and one other server (Alex) were working diligently on the patio tending to everyone's needs and doing a fantastic job. Located in the beautiful Folsom, Pallido Shopping Center... parking can be tricky. The covered parking garage is the way to go. So for me it is a yes! Based on the food quality, customer service, and ambiance, I will definitely come back and check out everything else the Yard House has to offer. And there is definitely a lot. Happy hour menu looks pretty enticing. Cheers!

Had a great meal with great service! We got the Shiitake garlic noodles as an appetizer, but the size was more like entree. The tacos were delicious; the vampire carnitas taco was unexpectedly delightful, and the beer-battered fish taco was wonderfully crunchy balanced well with the slaw and guac. The filet was cooked perfectly; a cut off the edge showed a perfectly reddish pink. The interior has plenty of TV monitors showing a variety of sports. They also have a view of the central plaza which will be lit up and spirited come holiday season, so a seat in their patio section will still be part of the festivities. The service was excellent as the training of staff has been very detailed. I loved that our waitress checked in on us immediately after our food came out allowing the opportunity for corrections or additions. We look forward to new and adventurous beers in the future!

We were seated right away @ a high top table. Bar was right there so we got 2 watch drinks get made: entertainment!!! We ordered iced teas & the tea was freshly brewed!!! We ordered the spinach dip-YUM!!! One of my favorites!!! And this time, we tried the calamari: my 1st bite was piping hot & I dipped it in a warm spicy tomato sauce-OMG!!! Soooo good!!! The calamari had 2 dipping sauces, the other 1 being a jalapeño tartar sauce. Savanah was our waitress & she had a great smile & was friendly!!! Great service, Savanah!!!

I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant; it's right in town, while the other Yard House is all the way in Roseville and is much larger. I love the outdoor area, even though the music was a little loud--it had a fun vibe! I always order the poke nachos; they're consistently good. The service was good and fairly quick for it being a FIFA soccer night. I wish it wasn't as noisy and echoey inside, and that the outdoor music wasn't blasting with rock tunes. This is a great spot for groups of friends with kids because you can play right next to the restaurant and have space to run if parents take turns! For a hot day, the umbrellas and location kept us from the sun. I'd definitely recommend visiting and trying out their new spot! parking is not the easiest in the Palladio so plan to walk, wait for a spot or park over by Nordstrom Rack!

Joan and Sean were both Delightful. This yard house seems a bit Smaller than the rest but it was a packed house on Friday afternoon. The food was hot and fresh, service was awesome and love The online waitlist. They are still new so drinks might come a bit slower as they seem to be going their routine down. Overall We had good experience here.

Food was excellent! Will definitely be back especially with the great Happy prices and portions!! Thanks Cassie also for checking in to make sure all was great!!

Stopped by for happy hour and really enjoyed it. We got the chicken lettuce wraps, pizza, calamari, and couple beer, and everything hit the spot. Service was friendly, the vibe was good, and they have a great happy hour selection for both food and drinks. Definitely a nice place to hang out.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. The food, however, was outstanding and was definitely the highlight of the evening. Every dish we ordered was well-prepared and delicious. Service was a mixed experience. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.
