Just going to say, I think 4 to 4.5 for food....and five for overall experience. I have heard about Yard House since I've lived in Northern California, and my wife and I finally got around to it. The setting is all encompassing with both people there for a good night out, and families out for a fun time. Our servers were friendly and attentive, both for drink refills and food allergies. Overall, excellent customer service. For the price, there was amazing value and quality for the food. We had an acquaintance highly recommend the pork chop, so instead of getting an appetizer,we simply share an entree for an appetizer. The pork chop was flavorful and was cooked great...no dryness whatsoever. What else was amazing...the pork chop dish cost $29. If you read a review from a couple of restaurants ago, there was an average catfish platter for $25, so.... perspective and all that. My filet, again, I'm running out of adjectives, but tasty and cooked well. Again.... reasonably priced, but well cooked and good quality product. The tomato soup was....decent. No point to really order it...it seemed out of place. The desserts sounded amazing, but for what we had ordered, we were already full. This review is long overdue! I was scrolling through my photos and realized I never left one. We came to Yard House to celebrate my daughter's middle school promotion with our family, and the experience started on the best note. The girls at the front were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They all genuinely congratulated my daughter and even took the time to write her a heartfelt note. It's always the little things that leave the biggest impression, and that simple gesture absolutely melted my heart. We ordered a couple of burgers, the Korean BBQ noodles, and the jambalaya, and everything was delicious. My daughter also got to celebrate with a brookie for dessert, which made her day even more special. The energy at this location is unmatched. I've visited twice now, both a little after 1 p.m., and the service has been consistently amazing. It wasn't very busy either time, though I did notice the outdoor patio fills up quickly. Thankfully, the indoor dining area is spacious, and we were seated almost immediately. The people who work here truly make the experience. It all starts at the front door, and when you're greeted with such genuine kindness and positive energy, it carries throughout the entire meal. My Husband and I went here for lunch at 11am on Monday with oir newborn. We sat in the outdoor patio area and our server was one of the best waiters I've experienced in a while (I wish I remembered his name. Drinks were never empty checked on us enough to not feel forgotten but not over doing it. Food was great I had the Garlic Lobster noodles and my husband had one of the new summer burgers with fries. First visit! We enjoyed a relaxing few hours on the patio the Friday afternoon before Mother's Day. The weather was perfect and the food was great. It was relatively quiet in terms of people so that was super nice! Because we entered through a gate directly onto the patio, we did not experience the inside vibe at all. The patio looks out ovee a public area with ping pong tables and lots of grass. Families, especially the little ones, were out in full force enjoying it all. I was only hit once by a plastic ping pong ball during our visit. Just kidding.:) Actually it was fun watching all the comings and goings of all the happy peeps. So 100-plus draft beers is one of the features and passions of the Yard House according to the bio... along with an array of delicious sounding craft cocktails from which to choose. A minimal wine list unfortunately. Nothing to write home about. I found a Sonoma County, Chalk Hill Chardonnay which was satisfactory. I would probably go for the cocktail next time. I was most impressed with the customer service. The hostess who seated us was nice and welcoming. So a great big shout out to Cate! She just set the tone for a great time. Our wait person, Emily, also went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered about food and drinks. She honored our request to change the bread type on our order of the Stacked Turkey Club. That was definitely appreciated. (And by the way, the club sandwich was soooo good and fresh!) She and one other server (Alex) were working diligently on the patio tending to everyone's needs and doing a fantastic job. Had a great meal with great service! We got the Shiitake garlic noodles as an appetizer, but the size was more like entree. The tacos were delicious; the vampire carnitas taco was unexpectedly delightful, and the beer-battered fish taco was wonderfully crunchy balanced well with the slaw and guac. The filet was cooked perfectly; a cut off the edge showed a perfectly reddish pink. The interior has plenty of TV monitors showing a variety of sports. They also have a view of the central plaza which will be lit up and spirited come holiday season, so a seat in their patio section will still be part of the festivities. The service was excellent as the training of staff has been very detailed. I loved that our waitress checked in on us immediately after our food came out allowing the opportunity for corrections or additions. I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant; it's right in town, while the other Yard House is all the way in Roseville and is much larger. I love the outdoor area, even though the music was a little loud--it had a fun vibe! I always order the poke nachos; they're consistently good. The service was good and fairly quick for it being a FIFA soccer night. I wish it wasn't as noisy and echoey inside, and that the outdoor music wasn't blasting with rock tunes. This is a great spot for groups of friends with kids because you can play right next to the restaurant and have space to run if parents take turns! For a hot day, the umbrellas and location kept us from the sun. I'd definitely recommend visiting and trying out their new spot! parking is not the easiest in the Palladio so plan to walk, wait for a spot or park over by Nordstrom Rack! read more

This is a great restaurant in its category. Meaning, Suburban restaurants with 100+ seats. I ordered the lobster garlic noodles - based on some other Yelp reviews- and they came out quick and hot. The portion size was huge with a generous amount of lobster and shrimp. I couldn't eat it all and left some noodles in the bowl. I was hungry and it tasted pretty darn good. The people to my right at the bar were very much enjoying their cocktails and appetizers, and they even engaged me in friendly conversation. Which I can appreciate as a solo diner in a society that can be oblivious. The ambience here was nice with indoor outdoor seating and plenty of TV's to entertain but with no volume on. In fact I detected some southern music playing on a far away speaker which wasn't loud. I could actually hear my self think. :-). All good in the neighborhood as they say. read more

I stopped by the Yard House today specifically because I saw a photo posted by the business owner of the lobster garlic noodles, and it looked incredible, loaded with lobster and very appealing. I sat at the bar, had great service, and the cocktails were excellent. When the lobster garlic noodles arrived, the flavor itself was actually delicious. However, the dish looked nothing like the photo that drew me in. Mine had maybe two pieces of lobster and probably less than 40% of what was shown in the advertised picture. It honestly felt very misleading and disappointing considering the expectation set by the restaurant's own photos. Great atmosphere, drinks, and service, but the presentation and portion of the lobster in the actual dish did not match what was advertised. read more

We ordered the poke nachos, cali roll stack and 2 lavender drops. My friend wasn't a huge fan of the drink and Mohammed offered to get it taken off the check and swapped her drink out, thank you! The poke nachos are my favorite item here and their happy hour menu is a great deal. This location is a bit smaller and minimal compared to DOCO and Roseville but I'm glad we have one out in Folsom now. read more

3/4/2026 - Folsom I had an enjoyable lunch at the Yard House in the Palladio Shopping Center. It was a little tricky to find at first since my GPS said I had "arrived," but I didn't immediately see the restaurant. I parked in the covered garage near the movie theater, checked the directory, and found it from there. Once inside, I was greeted right away and our server, Raeef, was friendly and attentive. I ordered a glass of Chalk Hill Chardonnay, but they were out (a bit surprising since they've only been open about a month), so I chose the Kendall Jackson chardonnay ($10.99) instead. I had the two taco combo for lunch (without rice and beans). I chose the Vampire Carnitas taco (cheese-crusted flour tortilla, carnitas, bacon, garlic, guacamole, salsa roja, sour cream, $7.49) and the Cumin Chili Shrimp taco (flour tortilla, grilled shrimp, jack cheese, green sauce, crunchy tortilla strips, sour cream, guacamole, parmesan, cilantro, $6.99). I came here to try their happy hour menu, which happens Monday-Friday 3-6pm. Selected appetizers are half off, including $2 off draft beer, wine, spirit, and cocktails. I ordered the poke nachos and the chicken tenders. My bill came out to $18 for both items. This is a great deal as the portions are huge. I liked the poke nachos a lot, all the flavor and ingredients do well together. The only thing I would nitpick about it is that it doesn't look exactly like the picture where there is more tuna, but then again, it is happy hour so I can't complain. It is still a great deal. The chicken tenders came with A LOT of tenders, however, it was a little bit dry and bland for my liking. My server was Hudson, and he was very nice and attentive, especially since I was only dining in for one person. I will come back again to try their other items. read more

had the pleasure of coming in here I was a little worried since mostly every yard house I've been into especially in the doco had been ran down and the food is nasty.. I was in the area so I decided to give it a try very clean as it's very new. Nice ambience. I had the pleasure of having Gigi my server. She was absolutely amazing and helped me decide what I wanted to eat. I will say the spinach dip was a little too milky for my. Liking but I do hope that this place stays clean and doesn't eventually turn into a spot where no one wants to go. My son had a steak and fries which is a new addition to the kids menu. He absolutely loved it..! Gigi did an amazing job although I think that she was the only server for a while and had a lot of tables. Great place that's open late! We're here with my bros last night and we closed the place down. their food is good, not great, but good, and their drinks are also good. Their prices are a bit high tho. Not a good date spot to be honest. This is more of a family or night out with friends place. it doesn't have date night energy or vibes. They do have a fireplace though, so you could make it work for a date if needed. Only problem was our waiter didn't speak English very good and he and we had a hard time understanding each other. I think the ambiance is inviting, great bar & seating. The food! Big menu but we arrived at Happy Hour and had great service! The calamari was hot-crispy and delicious. We came on Valentines night and there was about an hour/ hour half wait time they said so we signed up for the waitlist and walked around the Palladio but honestly we were called in in like 15 minutes. Ella Joy was our server and Im so glad it was her who was with us for our experience, she was the sweetest, friendliest most caring server I have ever had!!! Are you kidding, we told her we were feeling lonely on valentines so every time she walked to our table she would bring us a little goodie as you see in the photos .... This was truly the above and beyond they talk about. If you have her as your server then you know you're in good hands. Food was also delicioussssss we got the Poke Nachos and Cali Roll Stack and my gosh sooo freakin good as you can see in the photos the plates were wiped cleannn. The drinks were also a 10/10 both super dangerous how good tasting they were. Ambiance is great, even tho its a pretty big place the noise volume wasn't bad including the music playing in the background as well. if your partner loves sports and you love a good drink with a smacking app, this place is IT. Ambiance. This place is loud. The music is blaring and everyone is talking very loudly in an attempt to be heard over it, making it very difficult to have a conversation. I asked our server if she could turn down the volume. First she gave me a song and dance about how corporate controls the volume (in each restaurant, really?). But I urged her to go ask the manager, and came back saying he could do so. It was turned down a bit (not enough for my taste, but it helped. If you love the loud party atmosphere and don't care whether you can actually hear others when you're having a "conversation," you'll probably enjoy it. Food. I ordered the shrimp jambalaya. I asked for the small portion, which was very plentiful -- more than I could finish. It's billed as "spicy," but it's actually fairly tame. I wish I had taken a closer look at the photo before ordering. There are very few decent sized shrimp in the dish, most are tiny bay shrimp, which are very fishy. I never buy bay shrimp for this reason and do not order anything anywhere if it's clear that's what kind of shrimp they're using. I didn't send it back because I considered it my fault for not inspecting the photo; however, the menu should read "prawns and bay shrimp" to best inform customers about what they'll be getting and give them an opportunity to forego the fishy tiny shrimp-wannabes. Service. Our server was friendly and attentive, albeit I wasn't pleased with her "corporate" volume control statement. She surprised me with a dessert for my birthday. That was a nice touch. Came here for my husband and I's anniversary dinner! We've always wanted to try Yard House so thought it was the perfect spot for a nice dinner. We went to the Folsom location which opened not too long ago. We went on a Friday night and made sure to make it just in time for happy hour! They had pretty solid deals for their happy hour such as half off apps and beers! I also had a coupon for a free appetizer from signing up on the app! Since it was our first time coming here, we didn't know what to expect except the fact that we knew it would be busy on a Friday night! We've always walked by Yard House since it opened in Folsom and it was always so packed. Luckily we checked in and were told it would be a 25min wait so it wasn't so bad! We were seated at a menu and were given menus but you are able to order the apps and drinks on their table tablets that they have at every table. We ended up ordering our happy hour apps and drinks 10min before happy hour ended at 6pm so just in time! We ordered Queso Dip, Nachos, and Cheese Curds for our apps. Then for drinks, I ordered a Sunset Sangria and Kish & Tell cocktails while my husband ordered a a Pale Ale beer and a flight of beer that came with 6 mini glasses of different beers! Then for our entrees, he got the Ahi Crunchy Salad and I got the Maui Pineapple Chicken. For it being our first time, we didn't expect that it would be a lot of food especially with the portion size of the appetizers! If we knew how big the portions were for the appetizers, we probably wouldn't have ordered 3 appetizers LOL. Regardless, everything was delicious and we were so full afterwards that we had to do a good long walk around the shopping plaza to walk it all off.
