There are several things on the menu but if your looking for a reg home style burger this is your place. The food and smell inside is amazing.

My visit last week has caused me to show some love to Mytiburger and raise my score from 4 years ago by another star. At the counter I ordered a Mytiburger, onion rings and drink combo for $9.69 and added an ice cream dessert with chocolate syrup and almonds for $1.69 more. I was given a playing card, the Ace if Spades, to identify my order. The burger and rings took about 10 minutes to come out and when it did I surrendered my card. I thought the burger was very good taste wise. It was solid in weight and dressed except for the onions I had them hold. The onion rings were plentiful in the bag and hot. I enjoyed them as I did the burger and it was a filling meal. I asked for the dessert after finishing. It was served in a tall styrofoam cup with a lot of soft serve vanilla ice cream (they were out of other flavors). The chocolate syrup and the sliced almonds went well together with the ice cream and made for a nice finish. I would have liked more chocolate syrup with that much ice cream but at $1.69 it was a deal. I like Mytiburger. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. It is a true "local" burger joint that Houston should support. I must get by here more often.

3 stars on their best day..to me, a typical local High School burger joint/hangout. Nothing wrong with that, just not enough an attraction to bring me back anytime soon.

Authentic Houston dive diner that has evolved some unique dishes Open since 1967, the " happy days" era burger joint has evolved its own cuisine: Avocado Burgers, Chili Burritos covered with chili and cheese, fried pickles, steak baskets, etc. When you order you get a playing card, and you pay when the card is called. It is unique. I liked it. From another time.

Stopped by Mytiburger after a round of disc golf to make sure we are doing our part to keep local owned Houston restaurants afloat. We brought friends who aren't from the area as well and ranted and raved but unfortunately, our compliments came to bite us in the butt. All in all, there was nothing spectacular, it was a regular burger undercooked fries and a long wait time even though there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. Our friend who is a new houstonian ordered her food at the same time as us got her food after we had already finished eating. Mytiburger has the recipe and ambiance to be a great burger shop, however they need a better system to ensure quality and timely deliveries for food. Also good to note, they are cash only as listed on the door.

Groupon has presented another winner. I see why people keep mentioning the costumer service. You really don't get better service than this. When you envision service with a smile, that's this place. They literally took my order, in the rain, without hesitation and without complaint. There was a constant flow of customers the entire time I was there. There are a few places you can sit around the building if you like dining in place. Parking is ample enough for at least 20 vehicles at a time. The menu is home style flair. It's a simple menu to decide upon if you want traditional American food. The have fried pies in a variety of flavors, so you know this is a good place to get fat. I already feel wordy, so let me give you an eating synopsis: The banana shake is phenomenal. Smooth texture and consistency the entire slurping. The burgers does not taste like a mass manufactured mouthful. They take their time making and cooking your items. The service was quick and the food was hot. The burger had fresh ingredients. The sides are worth experimenting with due to price and portion size. The fried pickles were not disk of grease and slime. They know what they are doing in the kitchen. The apple pie was disappointing because it lacked filling and lacked a cinnamon taste of any sort. Overall, everything was fresh. I'm definitely visiting this place again. The prices does not bother my frugal meter at all. Next time I'm trying the house cut chili cheese fries. If you are not a fan of fresh taste and ingredients, then skip this place and go to a fast food joint. $20 can go a long way at this place.

I had opted for a beef burger with a side of chili cheese tater tots to share. The burger is quite large and filled generously with whatever add-ins you check off so it was very filling for me. I went with two 2oz patties, but considering the size, I'd opt for a single 2 oz patty if I go back. For my burger I also added scallion aioli which didn't have a strong green onion flavor but was still nice and added creaminess to the burger overall. The tater tots were super crispy, and the chili cheese topping was nice. I had gone shortly after they opened and it wasn't super busy but it started to quickly fill up around 11:30-12. To start off with a positive, I thought the falafel patty had a really great taste and was absolutely the highlight of the burger. But outside of that the burger and the toppings I ordered just didn't work as well as I would've liked. I ordered my burger with mushrooms and sauteed onions, both toppings I know I absolutely love from making burgers at home and from other spots, but neither added much. At first I was worried that the falafel was overpowering them both but upon eating them by themselves they just lacked taste. We also got the scallion aioli on the burger and I never got a hint of it at any point. All in all, the burger was very much mediocre outside of the patty. We also got fries with the burger and while they absolutely had some potential they were extremely over seasoned. Any appreciation for the seasonings in a vacuum was immediately overshadowed by how salty they were. We also ordered the Sambal Mayo as a dipping sauce and while it did help subdue the insane salt level and overall tasted quite good, upon writing this review I found out by looking at their online menu that it contained some amount of shrimp. This information is nowhere to be seen on the ordering slip and wasn't mentioned when I handed it over to the person working at the cash register. And while I definitely accept some level of responsibility for not doing my due diligence and asking or letting them know of my dietary restrictions, it's still an extremely frustrating thing to have happen as both a vegetarian and someone with a mild shellfish allergy. If for whatever reason the online menu is out of date or I missed an obvious indication of it containing shrimp somewhere I am more than happy to edit my review.
