I first came to SugarCoat after avoiding gel manicures since 2010 (or whenever it was first invited). I think I've only done gel manicures 2x in my life and Lord the damage to my nails was so terrible that it was enough for me to just stay away. However, regular manicures take forever and don't last, so after much research and prayer, I ventured to Sugarcoat. During my first appointment I was very candid with Nat about my distrust of gel manicures and how much I cared about the health of my nails. Not only was Nat understanding, but she explained to me why her process was different and what I should expect during the gel-removal. In short, I've been a customer for about 9 months and I will never turn back! Ladies (and/or gents), if you care about the health of your nails and want a quality manicure and pedicure TRUST Nat to deliver every time! It consisted of a body scrub with some salts, some sauna time, rest in between, and a finish with a nice massage. What a beautiful way to spend my birthday being pampered. I'm not able to do spa days frequently, but I can tell you that when I do have the opportunity, I love this place. The owner is very nice, they've been around for years now. I've been with my best friend to get a couples massage and with my husband to get a couples massage and they never disappoint. Very relaxing. You even get a treat with Moroccan tea.
