This place is a hidden gem that is worth more than 5 stars when it comes to food. Try their rice and daal or tandoori fish. Now the reason why I removed one star was because: 1: They don't have public washroom. 2: Tables are usually never clean. 3: Service can be very slow. 4: Parking in that area is nearly impossible. Also, they are open from 2PM to 7AM. Very good spot to get some good Indian food late at night. Not a reccomended spot for first few dates but great for couples who are seeking good food for 2 under $20. That if you tip them $6. Menu changes every 4-6 hours and depends on chef's mood. I cannot comment on the food served at this place because it was NEVER BROUGHT to me. A couple nights ago, I tried ordering some food from them using an online service. When the food hadn't arrived at the stated time (updated from the restaurant), I decided to follow-up and called the restaurant directly. Mind you, the delivery was now nearly an hour late. The person I spoke with claimed that the food had been already delivered... I might also add that whoever it was I spoke with was not pleasant about it at all and was practically blaming me for the matter. All they said was "we are busy," and quickly tried to get me off the phone. So, I called the online food service to try and deal with the situation. After investigation by the representative I spoke to, it turns out that not only had the food NOT been delivered, the order had never even been started. The online service asked me if I would still like the order to be processed, and I said yes. Half an hour later, thinking I would still be getting dinner, albeit late, I received a call from the online food delivery service that the restaurant had cancelled my order. This is simply unacceptable. The food is probably decent here but their pathetic attempt at customer service hindered me from experiencing their food. Recently I checked this spot out with a friend. "Harold and Kumar" We hit it in the early morning hours, I think it was about 5:30 or 6 am when we sat at a table. Restaurants of this caliber can sometimes be found working all around the clock or up till 7 am, or just starting for the day from early morning hours. These "hotels" as they are called in India which are what we Americans would call diners. Or as I like to call "Cabbie hotels" because you can often find Cabbie's dining here, also because of the hours you might run into a few H1b visa college students (International students). A few quick details: Service stunk. Food was okay. Biriyani was too damn expensive & had more bones than meat. Still only a few pieces. Service stunk. Others that arrived after us received their items before us. It was obvious that speaking the language gets you quicker service. Or perhaps I have it wrong and those guys, I mean all of those guys were regulars. But really how long does it take to microwave some food? Their version of Butter Chicken was probably one of the best dishes we had of what we ordered. I don't think it was Butter Chicken though, it was an off shoot but the guy wasn't too descriptive of anything, so whatever it was, it was decent. We hit this place after a night of painting the town red as they say. I mention this because after a long night (weeknight) of being out, we want to eat something that will fill the stomach and hopefully put us down nicely for the few hours of sleep we can salvage before going to work the following afternoon. Above I mentioned a few times that service stunk. It did. Not only that but it was as if they made us wait till they served everyone else. At 6 am, sitting at a diner dive, food should not take fifty minutes. All the items except the bread were reheated, for sure! I was still in an intoxicated manner, so, like any irritated person might, I started singing Lil' John's - Get Low. Specifically the line " Sweat drops off my balls". I had a horrible experience. I went with my daughters for a cultural experience and we were treated horribly. There were no woman eating there all men. They did not serve us water and eveyone else that came in after us received a jug of water and were served before us. Do not go here if you are female or not their ethnicity. What a great find I was on my way home from work and was trying to figure out what to eat at 1am, then I see Naan's sign is all lit up what the hell lets try something new tonight I so I go in and look at the special board and I go for the Chicken Kadai and some Butter Naan to go , he tells me it will be about 15 minutes I am like ok finally he says it is ready I go up to pay and get my food and it is only $6 now that is a cheap dinner, I should of gotten a second piece of Naan though it was so good it went to fast I will be back again for sure read more

We thought that it would be chinese style but it was totally opposite. It had lots and lots of green chili. Being an indian still we were not able to eat it because it was damn spicy. Good news is they have started the same restaurant in a different building which is couple of blocks near the old one. the new one is exactly opposite to usmania. Now the ambiance is perfect. You never have to worry about taking someone with you to that place. Chicken tikka is the one which I love the most. Most importantly the staff was very attentive and accommodating. Ok, if you want to experience real Pakistani cuisine, come to Naan on Devon. I know a lot of people say the service is pretty bad (and it is), but good food + poor service beats bad food + great service any day of the week. Anyways, I went with a few of my friends and ordered the palak gosht (basically mutton cooked in spinach) + 2 oversized butter naan's to soak up the gravy/curry. Needless to say, it did not disappoint . The spinach gravy was spiced perfectly and the goat meat was super tender and wonderfully prepared (If it weren't for the high oil/fat content, I could probably eat this dish for every meal for the rest of my life...I'm only half kidding). Unfortunately, my friends (who are not Indian) did not have a great experience. One of them had ordered mutton korma, which was tasteless (and was about an hour late) and the other had ordered frontier beef which was also not really up to snuff. I'm not sure if the cooks in the back are racist or my friends just ordered the wrong dishes, but their meals were very mediocre to say the least. If you're from the subcontinent and are really craving food from Karachi/Lahore/etc. come here, you will not be disappointed. I have been regular monthly meal customer and also order extra meal once a while mall for that price no doubt it's a steal only if they serve properly portioned meal meaning bones are alright but wouldn't be bad if not 2 but 1 chunk of meat comes with it. There's no consistency in portions at all. Some times they don't even hesitate to give old Roti. Make sure all the to go orders that you received whatever you paid for since they have tendency to forget. Usually if I skip to pick up a meal once a week, so the next day I'd pick two instead as long as you are not exceeding the number of meals in a month but recently change of policy without any notification that's just plain stupidity.
