I don't wish to be uncharitable but this is ridiculous behavior. I came in the store around…read more12:35pm and went directly to the cashier to cash in a scratch ticket. The lady was behind the cashier kiosk organizing balloons. I patiently waited and watched her fuss molecule for molecule of changing positions until one was where she exactly wanted it. Realizing she had no intention of looking to see she had a customer I said Hello. She looked up at me like I was the biggest inconvenience of her day. I said nothing despite the obvious insult of her having to deal with a customer as cashier. I handed her my ticket and she started announcing that this was a new digital system and that they make no money off of lottery but they do on balloons. So I merely stated the obvious that she had treated me with disrespect since she looked at me. Once I questioned why I was being treated with such disrespect since the moment she clamped eyes on me she stated it was my tone. My tone was not one of annoyance but a simple hello to acknowledge someone was here. It is not rocket science. I just wanted to alert her that I was there and her perception of that immediately went to me demanding her attention. I was not in a rush, thus the wait while she considered the balloons over customers. I mentioned to her that maybe she was having a bad day and her perception was off rather than my tone. It happens to all of us. What I find shocking is that her thinking that a "tone" was an excuse to give me a dirty look and give me substandard service. She cashed my lottery ticket and handed me $12 despite the fact I won $15. I mentioned it and she said she made a mistake. I said no problem, it can happen to anyone. I wished her a better day and she said her day was fine but that she made a simple mistake. I mentioned like how she read my tone, as well. Yes, a smidge snarky at the end but I am tired of people overlaying their warped perceptions onto others and not taking responsibility for their own thinking. I understand that some customers can make the job challenging at times and there is probably a temptation to overlay difficult experiences onto many other customers who are just trying to be pleasant in a transaction. To immediately go to a place with so much severity from the beginning to end of my experience with her was absurd and uncalled for as a customer service person. Between her and a male cashier who refused to hand you money or take money by hand (asks to put it on the counter) I am done with this freak show location and will take my business elsewhere from this point on.

This place had excellent staff when I dropped in looking for those nice big discounts on slow selling beverages but didn't find much.

This is a very small Target store located just outside of the UC Irvine campus…read more During my visit, it was crowded with college students as the campus is across the street, and there are student apartments, making this a very convenient location for many. Though it was much smaller than a regular Target, one can still find most items they want and need. Parking is available in the large, private parking lot.

If you want to buy clothes, keep in mind only one dressing room exists. When I went in to try on a F1 graphic t-shirt, I noticed sand on the dressing room seat. Huh. I wasn't finding what I needed as it was my first time here and I wasn't familiar with the layout. One of the employees told me where the travel sizes were. Another wasn't exactly sure where dishwashing gloves were but told me the few rows in which they would be. After a short, fruitless search, I came across the machine which enables customers to search the store and gives details on the location, pricing, and availability of what they want. I realized later that I could have found the information to all my questions and more by downloading and using the app. Could have, should have, would have? I don't know. The employees I interacted with were courteous. I was greeted and helped in a polite way.

Every time I go to CVS it is understaffed and there are huge lines. today I was there at 7 PM…read more There must've been 20 people in line to check out and one cashier. I asked for the manager and I said "do you see a problem here?" and manager says " no I have no idea about any problem " and I said "how about the long line why don't you hire more people to staff the store to increase your customer satisfaction? " I said it was unacceptable and he just shook his head and smiled at me. I miss the Rite Aid stores. The service was better. CVS is cheap on investing in the proper labor. Before waiting in line for checkout with the cashier, I tried the automated checkout. I was actually trying to give CVS more business, and I had more purchases than would fit on their tiny little automated checkout counter. The cheap paper bags fell on the floor and broke so I said " I don't want all of these things. I just have to buy one medical supply for my daughter" that put me in the 20 line purgatory behind all the people. All the manager could say is why don't you use our automated checkout? I tried to explain to him why the automated checkout did not work mind you I have a computer science degree this is not user error. This is incompetence understaffing, and no understanding of customer satisfaction.
