The pharmacist is a middle aged woman who always seems to be upset or bothered by being disturbed in her work. Which I would be more lenient about if she wasn't so rude. Not only that but save for one tech/clerk everyone there is quite rude and dismissive. I have called on multiple days, multiple times a day and every time without fail I am immediately placed on hold. The longest I have been on hold for is 30 minutes. I have tried transferring my prescriptions and the pharmacy stated to the other pharmacy that I have no refills but i have confirmed I still had 3 refills as over the course of this year my psychiatrist has sent over 3 separate scripts all with 90 day supply. Refilling my prescriptions on time this past month has been a nightmare, to the point that I simply asked my psychiatrist to send my medications to a different pharmacy on my last visit. And now this pharmacy continues to hound me that my prescriptions are due for a refill and that they cannot fill them as they've been "incorrectly" filled elsewhere. This is absolutely ridiculous, this pharmacy has lost me as customer and as a patient. They also continue to contact me for a different patient named Vanessa or something as she has prescriptions ready and I feel this may be a violation of HIPAA. I would not recommend this pharmacy to ANYONE.

A local Vietnamese pharmacy that can communicate with my Ama for her health concerns and needs was a total bonus! However, today will be the last time that I will step foot into this place. There are a million pharmacies in Orange County, so there is no reason for me to return to this place. Because we've been coming here for so many years, you think that she would be an understanding and compassionate pharmacist. We thought that she was, until today's event that has burned all bridges. I am boycotting Tan Binh Pharmacy! What happened?!? I came here to drop off my dad's medication since he just had surgery, but was told that his insurance doesn't cover the brand named drugs. That is fine, but she returned the prescription to me (knowing that I will probably return) and told me to call the doctor. She could have easily called the doctor on my dad's behalf since she will need the vertification from the doctor anyways. Aren't pharmacists supposed to communicate with doctors in a language filled with jargon that the average non-medical person would not know? Anyways, I told my dad, so he called the doctor's office and then called her back. The results were unclear because my dad told me to go back to the pharmacy and have her fax the prescription to the doctor and the generic brands. I called the doctor's office and the receptionist told me that the doctor was not going to be in for a couple of hours and to have the pharmacy just fax names that the doctor prescribed and the generic brands. My last call ever to Tan Binh was to explain the situation, but I couldn't even finish explaining before she told me that her explanation was already given to my dad and she wanted to talk to him instead. WTF? Twice, she repeated that she wanted to speak to my dad instead of me who is the person taking care of the situation and was trying to explain to her what the doctor's receptionist had told me. But she refused to listen to what I had to say. Then she just ended the conversation with "Just tell the doctor to write a new prescription for a generic brand. Just tell him, he should know. I told you that I already explained to your dad and so yeah, ok?" and hung up the phone. How does your previous explanation with my dad, who happens to be in pain and in bed, solve the situation in anyway? I don't think I am asking too much when all I wanted her to do was just fax/email the generic brands to my doctor, but she wouldn't even let me finish what I called to say. THANK GOODNESS for CVS Pharmacy!! It took less than 5 minutes for them to look up the drugs and send it out to the doctor. Now, I just need to find my Ama a new local Vietnamese or Chinese Pharmacy. Any suggestions would be helpful since my family will not be returning to Tan Binh Pharmacy. Ugh. Yuck.

The waiting area is really small but they don't restrict the number of people waiting there. They don't wear gloves and there is not hand sanitizer. I was surprised when I realized they don't use any paper or sheet when we seat for the vaccine, nor they use any sanitizer to clean the bed area. I asked if they clean the spot and the lady told me she just wiped the area but I didn't see any sign of wipe or smell of sanitizer. The person responsible for doing vaccination was the only one wearing gloves but she was walking around and grabbing a lot of stuffs with the same glove, so what is the point of wearing gloves if you touch everywhere else with the same glove? I wont go there for my second dose of Vaccine since they want to save for sheets and sanitizers in exchange of our safety.
