    Burrito Bowl & Waffle Fries.
    Kimberly F.

Have been twice now, and I was overly impressed both times. Big servings, DELICIOUS food, and excellent service. I will definitely make the time to stop here each time I'm in the area! Cute little shop in the downtown area.

Food: I ordered the Notorious B.I.G and a side of waffle fries. The burrito itself was 10/10. The waffle fries tasted like they sat under a heat lamp all day 4/10. The chips were pretty good but some did have too much seasoning 8/10. The cheese was decent, nothing to rave about but definitely was nice to have 7/10. I would definitely come back. Recommendation to business, I would like to have had more chips for all the cheese, even if that meant a slightly smaller burrito. Inside is decent size with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This place was the perfect stop for lunch as it was walking distance from my hotel and even close to the cannery row! Think of quick and easy Mexican food, but a fusion of halal / Mediterranean style foods. We absolutely loved the portion sizes as only a few orders fed my family of 5! The service is too top, very friendly and accommodating staff. The owners are super nice too! Ambiance is fast casual, with high table tops and street artwork in the background! Def coming back when I'm in the area again! Need their nachos!

I've been salivating about coming here for YEARS!!!! I almost made it yesterday but the democratic process did not allow me to make it. I finally got there today and happy that I did. I got a regular nacho order which was lots of food. I loved that there was plenty of cheese on the bottom. Hate when you get nachos and the cheese is only up top. The nachos were good. The bottom tasted better than the top. We got there before any type of lunch rush so we were the only ones so that helped us get our order quickly. I liked the decorations in the restaurant. Good visit.

We spotted this place while walking in Monterey and although we weren't super hungry , it seemed very unique and we wanted to give it a try. The business was really clean inside; borderline too clean because it had kind of a chemical smell. We got the Bizness Nachos "Hella" size to share grabbed a patio type table that was just outside the glass doors. The nachos were definitely big. We were barely able to finish them between the two of us. The meat on its own was fine but it just didn't work in the nachos the way that I wanted it to. I am a nacho lover though and they definitely did a great job on the chips and cheese, which are the foundation of good nachos. I would come back here and try one of the other meat options or maybe even ask them to do a plain chip and cheese nacho for me. I'm glad we gave them a try and you should too.

I was instantly drawn to this spot when I saw the name. It was a very busy Saturday night in the town and long waitlists for most restaurants; I was starving so I decided to try the nachos here since it was going to be quicker. I ordered the house special loaded nacho burger and the Bizness nachos with jalapeno cheddar and carne asada. Boy were these nachos loaded with cheesy goodness and generous amounts of jalapeno. Each bite was nice and spicy! The burger however was a bit dry and okay. The waffle fries on the side were really good, hot and crispy. It's a quick and casual spot, and I'd recommend the loaded nachos! It was surprisingly filling and hit the cheesy spot.

Once I saw Nacho Bizness I definitely wanted to try it as I love nachos. I visited on a weekday right after lunch time and the place wasn't busy at all. The staff was really nice and friendly and explained to me my options. I placed an order for The Bizness - Hella Sized with Gyro meat. They had an outside patio which was great as I was able to sit with my dog. The Bizness was loaded with toppings and it was delicious. It tasted fresh and cheesy and saucy. It was amazing. The gyro was cooked perfectly and the pico was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Loaded Nacho, vegetarian variety, suitable for plant-based consumers as well as level five and level six vegans.

drove down from Santa Cruz in Port to go see what it's like at nacho bizness. first off: the name. This is second only to "nacho daddy" in vegas for restaurant names in the tortilla chips, slang in game. if you pay cash, you get a 4% discount and you also get to feel good for not subsidizing those men old credit card companies Ambience: they had numerous giant TVs and not really sure what they play typically but when I was there, it looks to be an interview with Larry David or something. they did not have the closed captioning on so who knows!! there is one table out in front of the place and I wouldn't call this a courtyard exactly as somebody did, but it is a comfy little spot under a tree and you could probably have your dog out there too I guess if I want us to change one thing I would want a larger variety of hot sauces than just Sriracha All in all the guacamole and chips made for a satisfying lunch and it was enormous too. I recommend bringing your own Tupperware because I think the likelihood you'll finish everything on your plate is next to zero. Hooray for nacho business making vegan comfort food so easily accessible. I might even say this establishment is suitable for level five AND level six vegans!! Oh, and I almost forgot, but when I came in and realized they had a discount for Cash, I ran back out to my car to get that chedda and by the time I came back in which was probably only 90 seconds later the nachos were already delivered to my table and that's kind of fast service! Well done nacho bizness!

Went recently, with new owners they have turned things around for the better. Food was really good.

Reviews are reminders to myself Carne asada fries - waffle fries were nice and crispy when they came out, carne asada was grilled small cubes of meat and not really marinated like Mexican food, their homemade nacho cheese is more watery but tasty (personally don't eat that much cheese so the amount was a bit overwhelming for me and made the bottom fries soggy), pico and jalapeno added refreshing element to cut through the heaviness if the cheese Overall pretty good fries

We weren't even hungry and we demolished our nachos. Quick service and SO BOMB!!! We got the asada fries and they were so fresh, hot, and delicious!!

Great for vegan options in Monterey! The staff were very knowledgeable and kind. Definitely a casual spot but good for a lowkey meal.

    Alejandra D.

We got the large size and it was more than enough for 2 people. Probably good for 3-4 people to share. The one we got came with 2 meats, but we weren't asked which meats and given asada and chicken. The chicken was dry, tough, and flavorless. The asada was on the tough side, flavor was okay. The nacho cheese itself was good. chips, standard. We just wanted a snack before dinner, and would've been better off just asking for basic chips + nacho cheese. Inside smelled of heavy cleaning chemicals which I guess means they clean, but there was no ventilation it seemed to circulate the air. We sat outside, much better. A bit chilly though but better than being inside.

Ask the Community - Nacho Bizness

    Do you have halal meat?

Yes all of our meats are halal

Can you walk inside with your dog to order and then walk outside as soon as you're done ordering?

    Yes. I did this today

    What are your vegan options?

We have a house made vegan cheese.

Has this place closed down? I went to go eat here about 6 or 7 months ago, and it didn't exist??? Has it relocated?

It's still there. They only have limited hours of 6:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

This place has to be closed for good?

They just reopened on Alverado St in Monterey

Really not open at all on Sundays?

Sorry. Not yet. But after the remodel in a few months we will be.

Is the cheese sauce gluten free?

It consist of cheese, milk and peppers or adobo sauce. As long as those things are good to go, so are you.

Do you charge $2 more for guacamole? First day I got nachos with guac for $8 and next day some lady charged $2 extra for guac. The sign says $2 for guac extra and not extra guac. Anyways would like to know what the right price is?

Hi, thank you for asking. The price for the nachos is $8 with as many regular toppings as you would like. The only topping that is an extra charge is the guacamole at $2. An order without guacamole should come to $8.69 and an order with guacamole…

Arrived here at 12:30 on Saturday - place was closed. There were boxes of chips, no one inside. No sign indicating why they are closed today during business hours. Still in business?

Yelp has the hours wrong. It's 7:30PM-2:30am on Saturday. They have it listed as 7:30 am.

It took our party (8 people) a while to decide as we were spoiled with choices. But we had time as it was pretty busy for a Friday around 1. The picture included might not show the best scale but I had 2 others helping me to eat this plate and otherwise I would not have been able to finish it (even as a larger man). The crunchy jalapeños with the chips, beans and guacamole were the perfect balance. As a meat eater, the texture of the faux meat was a touch odd, but the flavor more than made up for it. The staff was helpful and attentive even as they were balancing supporting customers, answer phone orders, and taking regular orders. My wife and will definitely be stopping by here more often!!

The food was fine, the atmosphere was fine, the service was fine -- nothing memorable, nothing bad. The real issue is price. Adding shrimp to a salad cost about $15, and our total with tip came out to around $140 for two people. For that price point in Monterey, I expected more from the food and overall experience. Would I come back? Probably not at full price. But if you have the Amex Platinum and quarterly Resy dining credits to use, it softens the blow enough to make it worth trying once.

They were incredibly nice and let us bring in our lovely puppy who behaved greatly. The ambiance was wonderful, lighting was nice, not too loud, and good vibes in general. The singular best thing we got was the Queso Fundido. Literally the best one I have ever had. I'm from Texas and have had a embarassing amount of Latin/Mexican food. We were so incredibly hopeful that everything was going to be at the same level. We also got the Salsa Trio to start which was great. We got some house margs, and a Pinada which were all great flavor, the margs seemed a little light on the alcohol, but overall good. For entree's the adults got Short Rib and Molcajete. The short rib itself was cooked great, but the sauce was very sweet and the chutney like topper was also sweet. I think it would have done a lot better with some more acid or heat or something. The Molcajete was very average and a bit overcooked. The kids got the tenders, which I wouldn't judge any restaurant on, that's just nice for kids to have. The other kiddo got the bean burrito. The flour tortilla was great but it was mostly cheese and just a few beans. We decided to send it on desert for some redemption and got Tres Leches, Flan, and Churros. The Churros tasted freezer burnt, the Flan was extremely over done and hard (not a Flan texture at all), and the Tres Leches was dense and pretty dry which was a bummer. All that being said, I would give it a shot. My sister was with me and said they had been before and really liked the enchilladas. I would go back and try some other things to give them a shot. The Queso Fundido was so incredible I would go back just for that to be honest. Anyways, we will be trying something else around the area tonight and hoping for the best!
