    Chicken Gallina en Mole

A very "hole in the wall" spot with authentic, delicious homemade food. Even the chips are made in house. The owner is a sweet man with lots of recommendations if you need them. I had the chicken in mole. The sauce was just the way I like it; dark and chocolatey.

So amazing! The food was incredible and authentic! The chips and salsa were free and delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming- and the owner was super kind. Will definitely come back!!!

I've been wanting to come to this place for a while ever since I've discovered it on yelp. This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that you wouldn't notice if you were to drive past it because it's well hidden. Since I've been cravings chorizo and eggs for the past few days, I decided to get the chorizo and egg burrito. It was alright, but I have to say... I wish there was less egg and more chorizo because I could hardly taste the chorizo. Lucy was also really nice and respectful. I'm planning on coming here sometime again in the future to try their super nachos so I'm excited for that!

Nachitos platter. 10/10! Sooooo good! Highly recommend

First timers for me and the hubby. We had the Chile relleno w/enchilada, nachitos platter and for the drinks a Jamaica, mango smoothie and a pineapple smoothie. Right off the bat, the cashier was super sweet and attentive. She seated us quickly and immediately brought us complimentary chips and salsa which were delicious! She was extremely helpful with suggesting crowd favorites and refilled our chips as soon as they were done. The food was amazing! We definitely did not expect the amount of food we received for the low price we paid. There was sooooo much food & because it tasted sooooo good we couldn't stop eating despite being full 1/2 way through our plates. We without regret demolished the food and are now in a food coma. The smoothies were fresh and soooo good. You can tell they make them from scratch. I loved how the mango smoothie had bits of mango and the pineapple smoothie was sooooo sweet! I love them both but definitely favor the pineapple more. All in all, amazing service, food & drinks. Definitely coming back again!

Love the hard shell tacos here. Prices are very reasonable. The only thing is that the service is a bit slow but at least you know the food is cooked fresh. Here's better photos of the menu. Also breakfast is served all day

    Not homemade

Today is a disappointing day. I found this place on yelp and thought to give it a try. Pulled up to great customer service, but the food was horrible!!!!!!! I'm not into trashing small businesses but they need to give it up. My nachos tasted like they had maple syrup reminded me of eating pancakes no cap, The shrimp taco was extra greasy and lacked flavor desperately. All I can say is try this at your own risk!!!!!!!! PS. Guacamole was store-bought ewwwww

We decided to mix it up and try this place instead of the place a couple doors down, that we love. Nachos has a massive menu, which is nice. We both decided on wet burritos, for me Machaca, for her Chile Verde. The menus showed that the burritos came with rice and beans, they didn't. I also asked what fresh juices they had, and it was carrot or orange. I got some orange juice, which was very good. The food didn't take too long to come out. The burritos were of a good size. Unfortunately, neither of us really dug our food. I didn't really care for the sauce on my burrito, and the meat and eggs were chopped up so fine I honestly couldn't tell what I was eating. The remainder of the day we were both feeling bloated and gross. Maybe wet burritos aren't the way to go here, not sure we will be back to find out.

Food was delicious! Small place but makes up for the food, and service! Owner was kind and thoughtful. Try the lengua tacos and smoothie, you will not be disappointed!

Beef tacos...under $5 lunch special. Freshly made taco shells too!

One of my favorite things about them is their "Hoppy Hour," offered daily from 3-6 PM and then from 9 PM-close. They have a great selection of bites at pretty budget-friendly prices, starting at just $4! Some of my go-to Hoppy Hour orders are the Half-Order Truffle Cheese Fries, Mac N' Cheese Balls, Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and Nachos with added steak. The Truffle Cheese Fries are always a must for me. The fries are covered in this decadent white truffle cheese sauce that is so savory and flavorful. The Mac N' Cheese Balls are perfectly crunchy on the outside and filled with beer cheese sauce and Fresno chiles with ranch on the side for dipping. The Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts are one of my favorites because they have this orange chile glaze that is super addicting. For something a little more filling, I like getting the Nachos and adding steak. They come with refried beans, chipotle sauce, crema, jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. I always ask for extra onions, tomatoes and cilantro on the side. For the steak, we ordered it medium rare, and they cooked it perfectly! Now, let's talk about the burgers because every burger I've tried here has been solid. I've had the Barbecue Bacon Burger, which comes with shoestring onions, bacon, cheddar, and beer barbecue sauce. You really can't go wrong with this classic. My current top two favorites are the Fresno Fig Burger and the Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger. The Fresno Fig has this delicious sweet-and-savory combination with fig marmalade, melted goat cheese, and bacon. I love how the sweetness of the fig contrasts with the tanginess of the goat cheese and the savory/salty bacon. The Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger is definitely on the decadent side with bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onions, and horseradish mustard aioli. Everything comes together to make a rich and flavorful burger. It's one of the pricier burgers on the menu, but for me, it's worth every dime! For something on the lighter side, I've also tried the Cobb Salad with added grilled chicken and the Caesar Salad with seared salmon. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but it's always nice to get some greens in between all those burgers and fries. I'm always coming back to Eureka! for their "Hoppy Hour" and burgers. Eureka! continues to be such a reliable comfort-food spot.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!

We also tried the "fish tacos" (vegan version, of course) and were really impressed and taco was crunchy, but my only complaint is it was messy eating after the 2nd bite -- the fillings seemed to be falling apart and out of the taco shell. The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.
