Never use Nack! This guy was a JERK. His attitude was as though he was so knowledgeable and he was arrogant . Also after Mr. D..k left and their was still a problem with our toilet flushing I called the company back and the women from this plumbing company told me that I would need to recall Fidelity Home warranty company to have Nack redispatched back to our home BUT I would have to wait about 7 days before they could return because of their busy schedule. Really? you guys came out "TOOK" my money but you can not actually come out any sooner? Everyone this company is a poor company with no good customer quality pride. I'm quite surprised by the Yelp reviews here as I've had the complete opposite experience with Nack! We've had Nack on our speed dial for almost three years now and he's definitely our go-to person for all things plumbing. Prior to Nack, we used another plumber who is good but lived farther away, so we always had trouble scheduling appointments. When another friend recommended Nack enthusiastically, we took the leap... and never looked back. It started with a what-we-were-hoping-to-be-a-small-project for our master bathroom. Our original plumber recommended to tear down entire two walls due to the type of plumbing needed and lack of specific parts. We procrastinated and good thing we did - because when Nack came by, he was able to inspect, recommend, and solve the issue without the entire tear down! We were thrilled. After that project, we started replacing hardware for the rest of our house (two full bathrooms and kitchen). Throughout the process, he provided insightful opinions about which brand would work with what we have, what models of hardware he recommends, and even sent us to a very solid hardware vendor that he's worked with for years. We have nothing less than fantastic to say about Nack and his recommendations. He's very clear with what he thinks is best for our situation and gave constructive feedback on why certain brands or looks would not work and where we should splurge and where we should not. We definitely appreciated his honesty and his vast knowledge of all things plumbing. We even joked between ourselves that he's the plumbing "whisperer." That said, we moved a year ago and also called him in to inspect certain plumbing-related items. Not only did he help with my original issue, he also offered to do a walkthrough of the entire house inside and out - to check on showers, indoor bathrooms, and external water heaters...etc. to make sure things are working ok. I couldn't have asked for a more "above and beyond" service. He's truly one of the best "friends" you can have on your phone list for all things plumbing-related. I would NOT recommend Nack's Plumbing! This was the plumber that was assigned to fix my leaking toilet through my home warranty. It took over a week for them to come out the first time. They were at my house for about 5 minutes and as the plumber was walking out the door, he told me "I have to order a part". I had to stop him to ask basic details, such as, how long do you think it will be before the part comes in or what part is causing the problem? This to me wasn't a huge deal, I just figured he is focused on his plumbing work, and wasn't much of a customer service type of person. It took a week before Nack's called me back to schedule another appointment. Nack then came out and worked on the toilet. When he finished he just asked how I want to pay (didn't specify that the work was done or what he had fixed, nothing). I inquired about what he had done and got very little but said it doesn't leak. 10 minutes after Nack's left, my toilet water started running again. He had stopped 1 leak, but created a new leak at the same time. I immediately called him to have him come back to fix the leak he had created and was told that he wouldn't be coming back today because he was busy. I could call his secretary tomorrow to schedule a new appointment. I asked again for him to come back today as I have already been waiting over 2 weeks and he didn't complete my job. He said he can't because other people already have appointments today. So now after more than 2 weeks (16 days to be exact) since I initially called for service, I am still waiting for them to come back to do a complete job and fix the new issue that they caused. I got assigned their services through fidelity home warranty. The issue was fairly minor leakage of toilet and could be fixed by myself (with a little research). Still I wanted to get this done by a pro. They have a very poor attitude toward serving the customer. With very inflexible schedule, you have to just select from when they want to do the work. Response time is slow also because the policy is that the customer just leave a voice mail and they would respond (in my case it always took more than 24 hours). After exchanging quite a few voice mails I finally got a time of their choice. On the first scheduled day the person did not inform about arrival and just left the card. Going through the same routine of back and forth voice mails I got another appointment where the plumber took a long time before showing up. Once here, the service personnel had 80s attitude without having much information on the request. Also no explanation of what work was being done. I had to keep asking for what was being done. Work was done but not enjoyable. Overall I would say Nack's plumbing is least interested in putting customer first. read more

I agree with all of the other fellow 1 star ratings have said. This guy does not introduce himself when he approached the front door, no customer service, and is not friendly at all. He spent less than a minute at my house and seemed like he rushed out the door to his truck. I will contact Fidelity to please NOT use them again for any of my plumbing needs. I pay good money for my home warranty and this is the second company that was referred to me that I feel has had extremely poor customer service and they always rush out of your house! I'm not asking for a full-length conversation from any of these guys, but a smile would be nice, and some eye-contact?? I invite you in my home, at least be courteous and professional if you know what those two words even mean. I didn't even sign any paperwork?! WTF. Nack's appointment window is another truly dreadful thing. It took forever to get someone out here based on three extremely limited appt time windows. Seriously, I had to request a whole afternoon off (from 1-5PM) for THIS?? Other companies would give a smaller appointment window so that I don't have to lose out on 4 hours from work! In about 3 weeks I called him back only to find out that he had completely forgotten about this job. Promised to get back again and got lost... Last week I got my water heater replaced by a couple of fellows from Nack's Plumbing. They removed the old water heater, cleaned up the area & prepared support harnesses, installed and connected the new water heater, etc. In and out, before I came home from work during lunch to check on them they were cleaning up. I am not sure if we are talking about the same guy./company. Nack was referred to me through our real estate agent. He did respond on all calls, he was knowledgeable about everything related to plumbing that we had at the house we were living in. And he did clean all the mess other plumbers left behind them in a number occasions. His knowledge about the faucets (European style) was not matched by any other plumbing companies. He knew how they work, what was wrong and where to find spare parts. He did above expectations with the kitchen faucet. On his own initiative he talked with the supplier of the faucets and got me brand new setting free of charge (paid only for the installation) although the faucet was already 10 years old. Amazing! I had him coming every 6 months doing preventive maintenance and that proved to be a very good way of doing all plumbing I can only recommend him as the plumber of the choice. We were referred to Nack's Plumbing through our home warranty. Although Nack was able to solve our water heater problem we were really surprised at his attitude. It was like pulling teeth trying to find out what he was assessing and what he thought the problem was. He wordlessly arrived and went to his truck and came back and tinkered around. I don't expect a full or "charming" conversation but some minimal communication about what he thinks the problem is and how best to fix it is essential! We had no idea if his solution to the problem was really solving anything. He definitely came across as arrogant. When I asked him if he thought the problem was solved, he was extremely condescending and rude and told me that if i could listen i would be able to hear that the water heater was working. Nack was professional and did a GREAT job! On time. Technically savvy. Fast..... Not sure what you all are looking for - You cannot expect top notch contractors from Fidelity. You kind of get what you pay for. We had an electrician come out - who was 'charming" but couldn't find the problem and tried to sell us a new electrical panel..... duh - call Fidelity for second opinion. 1) Fidelity doesn't usually use Diamond Certified repair people that have huge office of staff to accommodate your every phone call - so no matter who they send out there is usually phone tag ( No phone tag with Nack- receptionist was nice); or 2) Fidelity has their long processes, where every little thing has to be approved first before it can be fixed - so there will be delays if the part isn't on hand (Nack needed approval to replace garbage disposal - that he didnt have on hand- so he left , next day we recd phone call to schedule his return), Sounds like he is his own company, so he cant be in two places at once... there will be delays ; 3) your repair guy isn't there to be your best friend and talk about sports or the weather, they are there to repair. They don't have to be Mr. personality - But in this case, Nack was super! yes, he was quiet, but he discussed only what the problem and the solution was. No B-S-ing.... Nack know his stuff!! He is quiet and some might find that frustrating but I don't. I like the get-it-done and don't talk my ear off type. Nack has replace 5 different faucets in my home. The first time he came out was over a year ago and the faucet has worked great ever since! That's why we keep having him back to do work. My experience with Nack's Plumbing: 2 yrs ago we moved into our home that had an existing outdoor tankless water heater. From day one it did not work. The home warranty folks sent someone out to replace the main board. That person installed it and everything worked fine. About 8 months later it failed again so the home warranty company sent a different plumber out. They diagnosed the problem got it to work temporarily while we waited on the part. Part arrived about a week or so later, they installed it and it worked sorta. Not enough hot water pressure was the "claimed" issue. The plumber blamed that with the house pipes and said to call for a different plumber. Our problem was that we never had this issue till we had the tankless controller replaced this last round. The tankless repair man/plumber was adamant it was the pipes. So we were forced to call another plumber. So via the home warranty Nack shows up and we explain the issue. Sure enough it was NOT the house pipes/pressure. He spent about 20 mins checking everything and finally would not take the deductible since he said he did nothing. That day I called the tankless repair man/plumber and told them that is was not the plumbing and that they needed to come back out. A few days later they came out, and this time it was 2 folks. One of them called the manufacturer of the tankless heater and they walked them through a series of steps. 20 mins later the hot water was coming out at full blast. We wasted many days w/out hot water and countless, pointless calls. Had the tankless water heater repair person/plumber taken the time to perform a bunch of troubleshooting with customer support before blaming everything else, wee could have avoided all this headache....Regardless I will not use those guys ever again. Fast forward to about a yr later (few months ago) and our tankless stopped working. Instead I called Nack since it was a memorable, professional meeting. He suggested I buy one from Costco (Cheaper and same models as the local dealers) and he would install it. In the past you could buy it from Costco and have someone else install it. Now they won't sell you one unless you have them install it. Their installation prices were beyond ridiculous. So I called Nack back and he said he would check with his dealer. He also wanted to come by and see if he could look at our old one. Made an appt that same day, tried to troubleshoot but it would not work. He was kind enough to lend us a spare he had so he came by the next day installed all the piping (Fixed a few things the previous installer screwed up) He basically prepared all the work so that when the new one arrived all he had to do was replace the units. He came by a few weeks later (That is how we both arranged our appt) and installed the new one. I can't say enough good things about Nack. He genuinely cared about my family having hot water. He is a calm, quiet person and it could be perceived as bad CS by some reviewers??? but for me that is not the case at all. He was very professional, pointed out a few issues and fixed them. Some reviewers said he was arrogant, again to me that was not the case, he simply is very knowledgeable, super confident and takes great pride in his work. As stated before. He not only installed the unit, but he also fixed the previous issues and made sure everything was set up so we could easily perform the yearly maintenance on the unit. I think had the previous owner done that, the old tankless would have last much longer. I can see how scheduling can be an issue but ppl need to realize like other plumbers in his specialty he is always working the home warranty calls as they come in. My guess is if you are in a pinch and it is urgent he could come by to help. Bottom line is I would not hesitate to call him and will continue to do so if/when we need work again. His pricing is fair, honest, upfront and is very skilled (professional) at what he does. read more

Nack saved the day over Memorial weekend when I was getting a new washer in. The delivery team won't hook up the washer since there was some water still draining when they were unhooking the old one. I had used Nack before so called him on a Saturday afternoon. He was over in 12 minutes to figure out why the water was still running. He got the water turned off then asked if we could install the new washer. I got a dolly then we drained the old washer and took it outside. He got the new one from the garage and installed it! He was great to work with and explained the process. I had my washer installed so I was so happy vs waiting to call back the delivery team weeks later. I would highly recommend him! read more
