It's disappointing to be writing this review as this was my go-to plumbing company for several years. This story begins with a pressure valve that needs replacing. Add to that a water heater burner that is malfunctioning and 2 shutoff valves that need replacing due to the pressure valve. What do I do? I place a call to Marti's, leave a voicemail but I get no reply. Now I'm going to try contacting them through Yelp. I wait for a couple more days and I get a text and I'm told that the next day, Saturday, I will have my appointment. My appointment time comes & goes as no one shows up or calls to cancel. I call first thing on Monday morning. I'm told that the plumber that was supposed to come will call me back. A second appointment is set. This time I get a call from the plumbing tech telling me that he has Covid and he will not be able to make it. Okay, understandable. So, I wait a couple of more days and I call twice more to see if they can send someone else since their tech is ill. I leave voicemails explaining the situation and I do not get a call or a text back. My guess is that business is so good that they don't need repeat customers. End result, I found another firm that wanted the work, provided good customer service & did quality work at a fair price. read more

We woke up to some leaking in the laundry room and quickly realized that it's coming from the wall. I've left a message on Yelp to a couple plumbing companies and also called some. Many didn't answer at all or had no availability for today. Marti's was the only one that replied to my Yelp message almost immediately (within 10min)! He was able to send someone same day and was even willing to recommend someone else if I couldn't wait until the 1-3pm window and needed something sooner. But we decided to stick with them. The person arrived on time (wearing mask and shoes protectors) and very quickly found the problem and fixed it, explaining what he was doing along the way and addressing all my questions. He even noticed a potential future problem and recommended ways to prevent it. We were lucky that there was no need to open the wall. Only the hot water Nipple was damaged and rusted, so it got replaced with a new brass one. Price wise, we paid 350$. Feels a bit high, but it's the first time happening to us, so not sure what the price range should look like. Note that the only options were cache or check. read more

My husband called Marti's to repair a broken water line. It had been broken and repaired poorly. They came out and repaired the line quite quickly but they had to turn off the water into our house. They said it needed 2 hours for the glue to dry/set up and they would be back to turn our water back on. This was around 2:00 in the afternoon. They went off to work on another job. - 4:00 pm came and went without a sign of them. - 5:00 pm came and went and then my husband called them. They were still at another job but they would try to send one of their workers over to turn the water back on. - 6:00 arrived with no sign of them and at that point, our neighbor came over and offered to turn the water on with his key. We turned the water back on ourselves. -Finally around 7:00 pm these guys show up with no apologies and give us a bill for $750, for approximately 30 minutes of work and a whole boatload of inconvenience. I do NOT recommend these guys. read more

I had high expectations after reading the great reviews here. I called for a free estimate, and had an appointment booked right away. The team was friendly, followed safe Covid protocol, and seemed experienced. However, they asked me to pay $160 once they examined the issue when I had been offered a free estimate. They said it's because they had to open up something to take a look, but I was not told that - only that they'd be providing a free estimate. Ultimately, they did not make me pay the amount but I was not happy about that "miscommunication." When I received the estimate I was shocked to find it was more than 2x the industry standard for that job. I asked for clarification by replying to the email, and never got a response. I called the office directly to ask again, and the person said they'd have the manager call me back and they never did. I called another company, which gave me an estimate of around $1000 on a job Marti's was proposing for $4,000. Glad I looked elsewhere. read more

Awesome service and very prompt specially under emergency situations! We had a toilet leak emergency. Maggie at reception was very helpful in dispatching one of the available plumbers the same afternoon. Taylor came in later that day to reset the toilet after putting in a new wax ring. He was wearing mask and shoe cover and did a very good job. He let the wet area dry and came back the next day to finish the caulking job. The charges were reasonable. My shower was leaking and I asked Marti's Plumbing to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. Taylor came here on time and was very professional. He managed to remove a ring that was extremely rusted and stuck. That saved me a lot of money because that meant he could just replace the cartridge instead of redoing the pipes. The shower wasn't leaking anymore with the new cartridge but the water temperature was not getting as hot as I wanted. I called them about the problem and Taylor quickly was able to come back and fix this other problem for no extra charge. Now my shower is working perfectly again. Thanks for the good work! read more

Great service ! Had a sewer leak under my house , came right away and was significantly cheaper then another quote I got. Very honest , first quote told me I needed all new piping and would only give me 1 year warranty on just fixing the broken pipe. Marti's gave me 10 year warranty, said the rest of my pipes looked great ,cleaned up dead rats under my house and another small leak for free! Will be using them and recommending them to anyone who asks! read more

We used Marti's for a plumbing problem underground. The 1st guy came out, gave an estimate, started the work immediately, finished it, but unfortunately did it wrong. The next day they sent someone else out to make sure that job was finished correctly. All I know is they did what they said they would do for the agreed price, although it took a bit longer. read more

I used their services twice one at my house and the other time at one of my rentals. I was satisfied with their service. What tuns me off is the kind of nasty responses the owner gives to customers when replying to negative comments. As a business owner myself I understand that complaints are not pleasant but if we channel our customers legit dissatisfactions the right way it gives us the opportunity to learn and do better next time. I had a new washing machine delivered from Home Depot but they couldn't hook it up because there was something was wrong with my waterline. I needed a plumber right away and I came across Marti's Plumbing on Yelp. They answered the phone and sent someone out to my home right away. The two guys who came to my home were extremely nice and professional. They identified the problem and gave me a quote. The quote they gave me was much more reasonable than other companies I had called. In fact, one company quoted me $200 more than's Marti's quote! They got the job done right away so I could get my laundry machine installed. Marti's plumbing is an honest company. They have fair pricing and they do good work. They are a family run business. I was so impressed with the service that I really wanted people to know about them. A good plumber is hard to find and I highly recommend this company. read more
