Needed someone to come out to see if they can replace an under mount kitchen sink. Made the appointment on a Thursday, for a Saturday 11am visit. Saturday rolls around, it's 1120a. Called and he said he had an emergency, can we move the appointment to 130p. I agreed. It's 140pm, I called, doesn't pick up, instead texts, "Can I call you later?" He calls at 159pm, and kinda laughs and says that he forgot he has an appointment. He asked if I could take a pic of the sink and text it to him. Basically, he's not coming out. I take a pic and send it. He calls back at 201pm, and says "Yeah, no we can't do that." What a waste of my time. Be better about booking your appointments and fulfilling them. Hot Water heater took a dump when I got back from vacation. Called C.K. and Tai called back in 5 minutes on a Sunday at noon. Offered to come over and was here in 20 minutes. Kai addressed a leak under sink, and while the scheduling was a bit off at first, he and my tenant were able to coordinate. The main concern was the lack of a clear explanation for the repair. When asked, Kai mentioned a 'leaking kitchen faucet' and an issue with the 'air gap pipe,' but there was no further detail. Based on photos, it seems the dishwasher's air vent pipe may have been the real culprit, causing the water to spill out. However, I'm concerned more how faucet leaking had repaired. I highly recommend Tai Thai for his excellent work replacing my main water valve after I discovered a water leak in my front yard. Tai was very professional, responsive, and arrived promptly as promised. He and his co-worker worked diligently throughout the project and completed everything on time with great attention to detail. In addition to replacing the main valve, Tai also replaced the main water pressure regulator to help maintain the water pressure below 60 PSI instead of the previous 100 PSI. We met Tai when he came out to give me a bid for repiping our house. Shortly after, we had some issues with our kitchen sink and needed some new pipes. I reached out to a bunch of plumbers, Tai included and Tai was super responsive and quick. He was able to come out the next day with all the materials and helped us install new pipes. Tai also pointed out that our sink drain was rusted and it should be replaced. We told him to proceed so he went out, got the parts and came right back to install it for us. We also had a leak due to previous plumber installing a pipe that was too short and he went ahead and swapped that out for us for a longer one so the leak won't happen again. Tai is by far the most knowledgeable, responsive and affordable plumber that I have worked with. I first worked with Tai to help replace a couple of kitchen faucets and saw how efficient, clean and punctual he was. From there, he has assisted with several larger projects including: installing a reverse osmosis water filtration system and also making several upgrades to our water heater including installing a descaler, expanding the input valve and setting up the recirculation pump which allowed us to get hot water in every part of the house within 10 seconds instead of 2 minutes. We have now used Tai twice. Once, for replacement of 2 bathroom faucets and the shower faucet/handle, which turned into a slightly more extensive job due to needing to replace old piping with copper. Him and his nephew did a great job, so we called him back for the next job, replacing our garbage disposal. He was able to come at a very reasonable time/day in relation to when we initially called and both jobs were done in a very timely manner.
