Nadia is a brow genius. NOT KIDDING! I went for my first appointment 8 weeks ago and she took time and went over my eyebrows with me. We talked about the shape they should be & how long I should grow them out. Im so antsy when it comes to my brows so I was a little apprehensive when she told me to come back in 4 weeks but she proved me wrong. The shape was perfect and she made a real believer out of me. I also love that she shows you how to apply makeup to them so they look even better. Im sure some people think that $30 is probably a bit much for a brow wax but with Nadia it is well worth it. Both Nadia and Lina are incredible. I was weary to try Lina after Nadia was booked up because I am a woman of habit, but Lina is just as amazing! Both women get the waxing done fast and efficiently, virtually painless for women that are used to how waxing feels, and are super friendly. They really build up your self confidence! They keep brows looking clean and natural, but with a perfect arch to frame your face. I haven't once broken out or had any reaction to the products they use in the aftercare. The only thing you should count on when coming, is usually the appointments are slightly backed up. It's not a big deal if you know ahead of time. Just expect to be out about 15-20 mins later than your appointment slot. It's worth it though! Nadia and Lina are great! read more

I went to get my eyebrows done by Nadia a few weeks ago because of all of the great reviews. Booking was easy - even same day. I don't think she is the best if you are Asian. She doesn't get the nuances of Asian bone structure. She ended up taking too much off the top to try to create an artificial arch instead of refining the naturally existing arch. She's a very nice person, but I'll keep looking for a brow person while my brows grow back out. read more

I have been going to Nadia since way back when she worked at Benefit brow bar. She was amazing then and was a little eyebrow star even back then. Right from the beginning, I looked Nadia up on yelp and she had the most stars and awesome reviews out of ANY Chicago eyebrow artist, period. I have thick brows that are not easy to maintain. I am so anal about my eyebrows it's ridiculous. I've been going to the same lady for the year I've lived in Chicago and I absolutely love her. She recently went on vacation causing me to find a new person to do my eyebrows while she was gone. I did some research and ended up booking an appointment with Nadia and am SO glad I did! She is the nicest person ever and her studio is super cute and clean. She spent a lot of time explaining to me what my eyebrow should look like and showed me my eyebrow each time after she did a wax strip. My eyebrows look awesome now and I plan to only visit her. So I'm pretty anal about my eyebrows and truly believe that eyebrows can make or break your face. I am indian and have had my eyebrows threaded since I was 13 years old. I have been EVERYWHERE in Atlanta, DC, NY, MD, VA and have always been able to find a place that knows how to do good threading. However, when I moved to Chicago it was impossible. I tried Devon, and a bunch of threading places in Chicago for the past SIX years and have never been satisfied by their threading job. I have usually been the complete opposite of satisfied, and even more annoyed when they tell me it's "just the way my eyebrows are." In any case, after reading the reviews online about Nadia, I decided to give waxing a try. She is everything they say and more. Truly. Not only does she listen to you (she even agreed to look at a photo of my old eyebrows and didn't make me feel crazy), but she explains what she is doing and is HONEST regarding what can and can't be fixed about your eyebrows in one session. She has an eye for the perfect arch and will even fill in your eyebrows before you leave if you would like her to. I don't know if I am sold on waxing yet, but I am definitely sold on Nadia. It's such a relief to know that I have finally found my eyebrow place. After my first appointment with her, my girlfriends actually NOTICED my eyebrows and insisted that they wanted to see her as well since she was able to work wonders with my botched eyebrows. Appointments are easy to make online which is really nice. Parking is next to impossible which is the only downside, but she's totally worth the hassle. Also, if you are used to threading prices, her prices are a bit higher ($20 for eyebrows), but again, totally worth it. Her suite is super cute and she has always been on time every time I have seen her. She's also very sweet and easy to talk to :) I highly recommend Nadia. I never thought I'd get my brows waxed but with my wedding one year away I started going to Nadia as part of my effort to get my skin/hair care regimen in order before the wedding. Now I can never go back to doing my own brows. After the wedding, this is the only part of my pre-wedding prep that I'm actually going to keep doing. I didn't even know how asymmetric my brows were until she got her hands on me. The first 3 times were odd because she had to let certain parts grow in while waxing other parts, but after my 4th visit I was hooked. I had an appt with Nadia. I was driving around looking for parking. When i walked in she was doing someone else. She barely turned around and said i can do you in 30 minutes. I had taken the hour off from work so i had to get back. I said I'd reschedule. Not 3 minutes after i walked out i get an email. Your appointment is a NO SHOW. .. like really . Right after i told her I'd reschedule. If she needed the cancellation fee that badly i would've given her the cash. I can't with these girls. Not the only brow place in town. Nadia is hands down the best brow person in Chicago. As a CA transplant I have gone all over the city and felt like I had been to every salon (Exhale, Anastasia at Nordstrom, Red Door... you name it) until I finally thought I would put some trust in my CA roots and hit up the Benefit Bar at Bloomingdales. My first meeting with Nadia was the same as the other places I had gone (which subsequently completely botched my brows and "gave" me the "trendy" Chicago skinny brow (not a good look on me)) by me coming in with guns blazing and several pictures to show her what I wanted. She was very patient with me (I know I can be a difficult client) and showed me what was wrong and what I needed to do in order to get my brow back to my full arch. Needless to say, I will not go to anyone else and I have even ditched my go to when I fly back to CA. I am so happy she is no longer at Benefit/Bloomingdales anymore and she can run her own schedule. She lives to make sure that every single one of her clients has the best brow for their face, and now she has the flexibility to fit me in around my crazy schedule! Remember everyone that she does not stop at brows- she did AMAZING individual eye lashes on me that lasted for days! I totally trust her and will be very sad when my life takes me away from Chicago, and ultimately Nadia. She is truly a gem and unbelievably talented. Nadia is an eyebrow genius! I had been getting my eyebrows waxed at nail shops since I was a teenager, and finally, realized it was time to get the "perfect" brows I had been envying on others. I've been dragging on writing a review for Nadia, but her work deserves to be known! I am super picky about my eyebrows - I'm a Middle-Eastern mix, which means my eyebrows indeed FRAME my face like no other!! In fact, my last eyebrow girl was an Instagram-famous brow lady down the hall from Nadia, but after much disappointment and uneven eyebrows, Nadia managed to bring them back to life after just two sessions. She just recently raised her prices to $30.00, but if you maintain your eyebrows in between sessions, spending $30.00 every month on eyebrows on someone with the skill set and someone who actually listens to you, like Nadia, it is WORTH it!! I wish Nadia could've done my eyebrows. Went here 3 times and had Lina do mine. Although she's very sweet I didn't like how they came out. The first 2 times she mapped out my eyebrows and where my arch should be and they came out okay. The 3rd time it seemed like she was in a rush and she completely thinned out my brows leaving a straight line of only a few hairs. Ive been growing them out for months now. The place is really clean and she's very nice, but for $50+ I'll go somewhere else. I also told her my skin is sensitive that's why I prefer threading and tweezing, but she still used wax on me all 3 times. read more

I was a bit worried since I showed up a few minutes before my appointment time and the store was not open. I called them and Nadia picked up the phone and ensured me that Lina would be there on time. Sure enough, she showed up on time! She took the time to shape my eyebrows and asked me how I wanted them done. I told her what I wanted, and she delivered! When my brows are not done correctly, it literally takes months for me to really grow out my eyebrows to get them fixed. Don't get me wrong, $20 is a bit high, but it's worth every penny when you have someone who knows what they're doing. For $28, I was able to get my eye brows and upper lip waxed. I was a little disappointed with the upper lip wax. There were still some hairs in a few areas that were not removed and I had to tweeze them myself. I can't wait to be back in a few weeks to have my eye brows transformed. Lina does a great job. You won't be disappointed with your brows. read more
