Previous reviews are correct. The older man who runs the joint is a complete jerk. Overpriced items with poor selection. They do have a crypto atm, which is great. It often breaks, not their fault. Last time the atm went down as I was using it and I stood there for a few minutes getting the support for the atm on the phone. The elderly man working there comes over and aggressively asks me if he can help me, as if I'm loitering there waiting for the perfect moment to steal a piece of jerky. I go in there almost everyday to use that atm. He knows who I am. Total jerk. read more

I'm never quite sure if this place is a curse or a blessing for the restaurant next door. First it was Zabiha and now a Mexican restaurant. Whenever we would eat at the restaurant, there was a constant flow of traffic into Nady's even around 11am. We would hope that people were coming to the restaurant, but I guess the lure of alcohol is stronger than the lure of food. I often go in here to buy my lotto tickets. The man is very soft spoken and polite even though I don't buy any alcoholic beverages. read more

I see all the bad reviews and I get it but, I have been in the neighborhood for 25 years and Nady's has been a constant source of fun for me, Amir and Phil are great guys and I will always love them for how kind they are, the prices are higher then grocery stores but that is for the convenience. The owner is the old man and I have had my differences with him but I still go back because I think he wants to be good in spite of his culture. read more

Updated: I think I will find a new place in South County to buy lottery tickets, since that was the main reason I ever came to this store. The guy working is SO rude. The mega millions machine Saturday Im guessing was overloaded with everyone checking their tickets, as I was trying to do - and the machine went down. I stood there, patiently, doing things on my phone - I wasnt in a hurry, and he got extremely irritated with me. Like my $2 winnings broke the machine, I mean really? I had to leave and come back a few hours later to collect my $11 total off of 175 tickets. Also, the parking spot right directly in front of the entrance is totally jacked up - and I tripped on the way in AND on the way out - HARD. I didnt fall, but it was painful. Apparently this guy is always rude, as I have found out in mentioning it to a few people... I would rather go buy my lottery tickets somewhere else because if I win, I dont want him getting that 1/2% the store gets. ~~~~~ I do agree, the prices are a little higher here than elsewhere... however I have never paid close attention to what they ring up as (Thats not so smart) and I usually only go in here when Im staying nearby and need a lotto ticket. read more

It's true: somehow between the time I pick an item off the shelf or from the cooler and bring it to the cash register, it exits the space-time continuum and reenters it exactly the same, except more expensive. I've lived near this liquor store for a while and the current owners have definitely upgraded in terms of cleanliness and selection. And I really am only giving them 2 stars because they're in the neighborhood and the guys who've helped me out the dozens of times I've visited have been pretty friendly. Also, if you can't maintain the basics of business (ie charging a customer for the amount an item is priced), at least keep up with the smiles and good customer service. Other reviews mention that there are both a Target and Bevmo within a couple miles of this place, but they do close around 9 or 10 - so if I'm ever headed out later than that I don't mind stopping by Nady's. read more

Let me start by saying that giving them one star is too much.......This place and it Shady business is a disgrace to all of Mission Viejo. It has been known for years to all the kids to be the place that sells alcohol and cigarettes to anyone at any age. After I traced my son's car numerous times and finding many times he had cigarettes, I decided to go in and have a talk with the owner. I showed the owners son my sons picture and he admitted he has sold him cigarettes but, this last time he said it was his Dad the owner. I warned him that I will report them if they do not stop selling to minors. Well even though the age limit changed to 21 for cigarettes, it has not stooped them from selling to minors. It should not be as easy as walking through the door for an under age kid to get alcohol and cigarettes in our city. Many kids drive a great distance to buy alcohol and cigarettes from Naddy's. We need to put a stop to them and put them out of business!!!!!!! read more

This store is horrible. They do not wear masks! They have a plastic shield but they don't place it where it would give protection. They have it in front of the cash register and not where you pay. They are very unfriendly and rude. Prices are really high. Avoid if at all possible. I will not be going back even though it is my closest option. read more

I can't believe this place is even in business. They think that people don't know how to count. I go in here frequently because I live on the same street. If you go in make sure you count up the total before paying because they will add another dollar on top of what they ring up. I mentioned to them that it was a little bit more than it should be and the man working there gave me an attitude and re-rang it out and not to my surprise it was less than what it should have been. He tried to say it was because I used my card in the beginning because I then decided to pay in cash....but even with the extra $.40 cents it should have been less originally. These people are stealing from innocent people, and then they look at customers like they are the criminals watching them like a hawk making sure they don't take from them. This store is shady and lottery players need to stay away from this place. The cashiers working here come off very confrontational like you stole something. There is some theft involved but it's them trying to rip you off. I went in one day to cash in my winning scratchers, $50 winnings, and when he was cashing it for me he was trying rip off $10 from me and when I said something he try to play it off like it was a mistake. When it first happened I thought it could of been a simple mistake but it made me more cautious when I go here in the future. Then it happened again! This time I went to cash in my $5 scratcher which I won an ticket, $5 value, and the dude behind the counter said $3! He tried to rip me off $2 this time but I did get my $5 ticket even though he reluctantly gave it to me. Their prices are "flexible", meaning you may or may not get rung up at the item's shelf price. I refuse to haggle with a cashier over price at a liquor store. Plus, the prices are too high even when you are charged the right amount. The only thing this shop has going for it is that it's close to my house, but since there's a BevMo 2 miles away on El Toro, this liquor store is irrelevant.
