Sake Kama: A- I'm not sure if I've ever had sake kama before (you always see Hamachi Kama, which is yellowtail). But this was quite delicious. All the standard rolls are good here. The miso soup is also solid. The crispy duck roll on the kitchen appetizer menu is sooo rewarding after a workout (probably not rewarding in your gym gains tho oops). Okay, snapping back to reality...this sushi is solid for what it is. It's affordable. Like so much so that a spicy salmon roll came to under $3. Are you kidding? Toto, I'm not on Long Island anymore. $4 for 6 shumai, which were really good. I ordered a special roll that had shrimp tempura inside, with mango and special sauce outside. When it arrived, there was this strange colored mayo-based sauce on it. It looks like someone brushed their teeth with the old school Krest, and then drooled over my roll. Honestly, the color is totally unappetizing. And to make matters worse, it was flavorless. I felt like gagging at first, but everything else in the roll was still good, so I trucked through it. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals! I mean, it's not amazing sushi. If you're looking for top notch, keep on walking, because this isn't it. Nagoya is definitely my go-to neighborhood sushi restaurant. The basic hand rolls range from $2.50 to $3.50 and their sushi and sashimi a la carte are all around $1. Definitely try their Nagoya pizza (slices of tuna, salmon and fish roe on a crispy pancake). You have to eat in though because I tried this for takeout once and it was all soggy and just not good! Skip the Dynamite roll. It wasn't bad tasting or anything but it just comes topped with this wasabi mayo that straight up looks like they squeezed it out of a Colgate tube. Did not look appetizing at ALL. I ordered for delivery for the first time the other day (a Saturday around 6:30) and it only took them a half an hour. No complaints here! read more

Something you may not be able to find at most other sushi places are the fried oysters; they are without a doubt my favorite option on the menu that I've had. You can't mess with sushi fish - it has to be very fresh, or you're endangering people! The fish was not fresh, and all our stomachs ached after. We ordered for a $100 and basically got nothing. The portions are much smaller than before. The seaweed salad was and iceberg of 90% Romain lettuce and 10% actual seaweed. Sushi rolls had little to no fish and bones in it. Very disappointed. Called the place and they offered 10% discount for the next time... but we're not going to order again. My gf and i were craving Japanese food yesterday so we decided to order for pick up from Nagoya. She had the Beef Pad Thai, i had the Beef teriyaki bento box and we shared the gyozas. The gyozas were ok, not bad. My bento box had great deep fried Tempura (its not easy to screw up anything thats deep fried), fried dumplings which were good and beef teriyaki. Their Mayo chipotle sauce was good and it went well with every appetizer. The Beef Pad Thai looked good but it smelled like dog food (i know because I've had dogs before). It wasn't what we expected but what was REALLY TERRIBLE was the Beef teriyaki. Beyond the worst I've ever had. I think they used fish broth for this dish and it completely overwhelmed the flavor of beef, I couldn't even find the taste of it! Honestly i was DISGUSTED. When you order a beef dish you don't expect to have even the slightest flavor of seafood in it, what would make you think this combination would work out???! Overall the appetizers were ok, i think if we knew what we were getting into we would have just ordered gyozas and things with tempura but we came for main dishes and we're extremely disappointed and i was just disgusted by the beef teriyaki. read more

Low lighting, good music, nice waitresses. We wee able to order appetizers right away, I took a little while to get my mind made up on an entree because the menu is extensive. Once we did order, we probably waited 30 mins for it. My GFs order was cut in half but it was handled right away. The miso soup is insane. The seaweed & tofu are like butter. My Queen & Red Lobster roll were insane, I prefer the savory aspect of the Queen roll more even though the cream cheese in the e Lobster roll had a field day in my mouth!
