I always capitalize on their deal where you can buy two special rolls and get one free. I'm particularly obsessed with the Devil Roll, which features pepper tuna and black tobiko on top with kani salad and avocado inside. It's all topped with a slightly sweet sauce that is listed as jalapeño sauce but doesn't taste like that at all. The pepper tuna and kani salad make for a delicious combo. Some of the special rolls are hit or miss, but the Devil Roll never disappoints. The BBQ ika appetizer is also pretty good, as are the sashimi pizzas (adding a few other ingredients to these would make them even better though) and the service is fine. "The driver left long time ago. Let me see what happen. I'm sorry, thank you for waiting", said the same lady on the phone. Driver called at 250pm to say he was arriving. I didn't get my order until 252pm. You know how when you pick up a piece of sushi roll it keeps it's round shape. Well, as I picked up a piece it fell apart immediately. The seaweed was soggy, no longer keeping the sushi rolls round shape. My order was obviously left somewhere, either indoors or outdoors, neglected by this evidence. Like a hungry fool I am, I ate it. When i got my order i checked the price of chicken teriaky and it was 14.95. None of the prices listed for the lunch special. I called to ask why was i charged the price and the reception told me i was given dinner plate. I asked why, when it is lunch time. He said unless i request they give you the higher price. They do not give lunch special after 4, why do they think they have a right to charge dinner prices during lunch?! They also did not give the soup that came with the rolls. I had to call to get it. Instead of just saying okay she proceeds to go back and forth. Once I told her for the third time that's not what I wanted. She now then has an attitude because she has to re-open the back and add it. While opening the bag very aggressively she then hands me my card and receipt to sign with attitude. I should have just left food there and walked out but this would be my last time because the attitude was uncalled for. I order from there all the time and they will see that on their register when you call. However, this is not the first time I encountered a attitude with hosts either. I'm a person of habit and usually order the same thing from restaurants. If it's good, why change it? This place is consistently fresh and has always provided good quality sushi. We order very simple rolls so I can't speak for their tempura or hand rolls, or teriyaki, but as for the California, sweet potato and futomaki rolls, they always come out fresh and perfect temperature. The only thing I don't like is that they charge you for extra ginger and their prices have become a little outrageous. We asked for tobiko (fish eggs) on our rolls as an add on. It used to be 50¢ a roll. Then they went up to $1 per roll and now even up to $2 PER ROLL!! A little outrageous so we just stopped adding it on as it would bump the price of our order up by almost $10 on a $27-$30 order. We've learned our lesson in this case but continue to enjoy to-go orders once in a while. read more

I rotate between the same sushi rolls, and today I was really craving the volcano roll, which I got along with a spicy tuna hand roll and a Boston roll, and a sunomono app. The sunomono used to have octopus and other fish in it, but the last few weeks they just fill it with tuna, white tuna, some salmon, and some yellowtail. The volcano roll tasted nothing like it was supposed to, and the spicy tuna hand roll tasted weird too. Boston roll was good but I guess it's hard to fuck that up. Even the spicy Mayo was a weird color today and very liquid.
