The staff truly went above and beyond for my care and were always so accommodating and friendly. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. There was a clear line of communication when it came to payment so you know exactly what you are paying for and the payment plans were pretty flexible. I had significantly crooked and crowded bottom teeth and in a year I had beautiful straight teeth. Dr. Ashouri and her staff gave me a comprehensive consultation and used innovative technology to map my Invisalign progress during my first visit. Everyone in the office is warm and welcoming. They are happy to have you there and aim to give you the best possible experience with the Invisalign treatment. All of the staff members are excellent communicators- they offer support to ensure that every Invisalign appointment is comfortable. They respond to emails in a timely manner. And they make time for all patients to come in if any attachments fall off during the treatment. I always leave feeling confident to stay the course and trust the process because I have supportive providers on my team. I have some anxiety about dental work, but Dr. Ashouri and her staff reassure me that everything will be okay. Some Ortho providers use scare tactics (unnecessary teeth extraction, using shame to ineffectively motivate patients) but Dr. Ashouri's office doesn't do this. They are informative and give practical tips to make changing from one set of aligners to another as smooth as possible. There was a learning curve with using rubber bands- the staff trained me to put them on correctly and allowed me to practice in person so that they could help me with it. Fantastic service all around! Invisalign is useful for people who are disciplined and honest about their dental hygiene. I came to Dr. Ashouri because I had some issues with my lower teeth not being straight. I had braces as a kid but I hadn't been the best with my retainer so I wanted to get a little touch up. Dr. Ashouri is truly a professional's professional in her field. When I came into my consultation, Dr. Ashouri had a dental assistant do a 3D scan of my teeth - very quick and pain free. Afterwards, she showed me all of the problem areas with my bite, crowding, and even gave me some insight on my previous extractions. I should also mention that before the my consultation appointment, the staff emailed my an intake form and also checked my insurance coverage beforehand for me. Super helpful since the insurance information can be really confusing. Long story short, I decided to accept treatment through Dr. Ashouri using Invisalign. Side-note, the x-rays are not done in office but they have an imaging office right next door, which also help with insurance. Fast forward a year and a half, I have never received such a high level of care from any Doctor's office. The staff are always smiling and friendly, asking if you need help, and making sure that COVID safety guidelines are being met. Although, I only came in to fix some small crowding, Dr. Ashouri's treatment plan simultaneously improved my crowding, my bite, my midline, and made my teeth even more aesthetically nicer than when I had braces originally. This time I will be sure to wear my retainers! Dr. Ashouri even suggested the Viveras to me because it comes in a set of 4 retainers and makes them individually cheaper than single purchase retainers. For anyone who might have sensitivity to pain (definitely me), I would also recommend having Dr. Ashouri check your smile because she specializes in Invisalign where you change aligners every week rather than every 2 weeks like most other providers I went to. This meant that although you changed more frequently, the "movements" were more gradual and more manageable. One of the dental assistants also gave me a helpful trick, which was to switch my aligners in at night, sleep away any initial discomfort, and have my teeth adjust before I woke up. Worked every time. All in all, 5 out 5, I have recommended Dr. Ashouri to my friends and family and will continue to do so. read more

Absolute garbage of a doctor. No ability to fix the teeth yet claims it's the patients fault. Out of 18 MONTHS of wearing my Invisalign 22 hours a day and wearing my rubber bands religiously, I didn't use my rubber bands maybe one or two DAYS and since then she's constantly told me my treatment isn't working because I admitted to not wearing my rubber bands. She couldn't just admit that she was incapable of fixing my teeth with Invisalign. I ended up going to another ortho and they explained how they can see what she was trying to do and also why it wouldn't work. She lacks experience to know these things. Took $8k out of me and refused to give me any money back. Also her techs suck. I always left with a bloody mouth as she would make newbies do her job instead of herself. I am paying HER to do my teeth, not these inexperienced techs that nervously apologize when they've just cut my gums and made my whole mouth bleed. Would never recommend her and I am surprised she has any good reviews. read more

After faithfully wearing my retainers for four years... I left them in an Airbnb bathroom in Seoul while traveling with the family over Thanksgiving. (Full disclosure: I'd left them in a hotel in Napa before as well, but luckily was able to call the hotel to retrieve them before housekeeping turned the room over... Not so lucky this time, unfortunately, as I'd already left the country before I realized my error.) I emailed Dr. Ashouri in a panic from Hong Kong... I did NOT want my teeth and bite going back the way they were before! She emailed me back right away and arranged an appointment on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Going back to the office was great - same efficient clinic team, a few new friendly faces at the front desk, and awesome decorations as usual (seriously, you have to see it to believe it)... I expected the same goopy impression stuff to make the replacement retainers, but her assistant Adriana advised me to consider Vivera retainers instead. They scan your teeth to get a 3d model (just like for the Invisalign aligners) and then order FOUR upper and lower pairs of retainers at a discounted price. No gross gaggy impression, better price per retainer, AND I get multiple backups? Yup, that's what I chose. Dr. Ashouri checked my teeth first to make sure none of my teeth had shifted in the few days I had been without my retainers, and luckily things looked good. Adriana took the scan in a few minutes, and I made an appointment to go pick up the retainers in a couple of weeks! Dr. Ashouri warned me that my teeth may shift a little by then, so the retainers may feel a little tight... We'll see! Will report back soon... read more

Easiest review I will ever write! Dr. Ashouri and her staff are truly amazing, professional, and accommodating. They are one big family and definitely make sure that their patients feel at home too (I sure did!). They know how to cater to different people's needs. I've had the absolute best experience there as an adult but I've also seen how well they work with children of all ages too. Dr. Ashouri also does an excellent job explaining the treatment plan thoroughly and why she recommends certain approaches. She no doubt is extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients (responded to any emails/calls/concerns that I had quickly and efficiently). Also lastly, the office is awesome! They change the decorations every few months or so (with the new season). My personal favorite is fall because they have pumpkins and warm colored leaves everywhere. There is always hot fresh coffee with clean mugs, a mini fridge stocked with cold water everyday and massage chairs too while waiting. I was not sure I wanted braces or Invisalign in my mid-twenties until I met Dr. Ashouri. Not only did I have crooked teeth but I also had a crossbite/underbite. For fear of calling in, I scheduled a painless consultation with Dr. Ashouri over their website, which they respond to very quickly! I came into the meeting prepared with my full list of questions and walked away with all my fears washed away. She assured me that I qualified for Invisalign and answered my litany of questions. Within a day of the consultation, I flipped from being extremely wary to immediately paying the full price of the service. I haven't regretted that decision. Unlike other orthodontists who have their Invisalign patients wear retainers for 2 weeks, she likes to make the changes to your teeth more incrementally, so she asks Invisalign to produce twice the amount of aligners just so her patients can change them out every week instead of every second week. The one-week aligners are phenomenal because: 1.) They don't stain or yellow as fast 2.) They don't get food stuck in the attachment (if you need them) craters of the aligners; I notice this happens on day 6 or 7, but by then you're about to swap for a new set of aligners 3.) They don't hurt as much because the movements are smaller and incremental On top of that, Dr. Ashouri introduced me to Acceledent, which is a new orthodontic treatment to accelerate the movements of your teeth. It's basically a mouthguard you wear every day for 20 minutes that help move your teeth faster. Assuming that you are good about wearing your aligners everyday for the recommended 22/hours a day or make up for lost time by biting on chewable tubes to help push your teeth into the aligners AND you use Acceledent religiously daily, you can swap your aligners out every 4-6 days instead of 7 days! Acceledent was an additional $900 on top of the treatment but so far has been well worth the price for me. With only 5 months out of my estimated 2.5 years of Invisalign wear, my teeth ALREADY look straight. Can't wait to see how they'll look at the end. I highly recommend Dr. Ashouri. She not only knows what she's doing, but she remembers you, answers your emails quickly, is professional yet friendly, prompt, kind, and caring. I recently visited Dr. Ashouri for my post treatment retainer check. I wanted my treatment to be done before writing this review to give you a full insight. Before starting my treatment with Dr. Ashouri I did shop around to other orthodontist to find the office that would best suit my orthodontic needs. To my surprise many other offices are not specialized in orthodontics, it's actually the general dentist performing orthodontic procedures. Kinda a red flag for me. Dr. Ashouri is specialized and does have that extra training/education/knowledge to give her patients that best outcome. She answered all my question and was always very reassuring when I expressed my concerns. I am in my mid 20's so the decision to get braces wasn't a walk in the park for me. After completing my initial records. Which all offices asked me for. I started an interest free payment plan. I was also offered an option to split up payments through your work's F.S.A/H.S.A accounts. They really work around to what option is ideal for you and they give you the time to figure it out. My braces treatment ended up being faster then the estimated 2 yrs because I was really good at wearing my rubberbands. This helps improve your bite as it does change while your teeth are aligning into a position they've never been in before. Dr. Ashouri took her time to evaluate me at every visit, which is every 6-8 wks. The process overall was very smooth. Her staff is awesome they were always very gentle and took their time to explain to me what they would do at each visit. They are compassianate for all age groups as I did see from youngest to older patients there. If you want an orthodontist and staff who love what they do and will take care of your orthodontic needs. You need to schedule a consultation with Dr. Ashouri. You will be so happy you did. Shopped around a few different places for invisalign, Dr Ashouri spent about 2 minutes looking at my teeth before recommending Invisalign. I was in and out of the office within 20 minutes. It is my suspicion that Dr. Ashouri is more of an Invisalign marketing factory - you can see it on the facebook page and the posters she has posted up on the front door. Whether or not her treatment is good, I cannot say but I'd be skeptical. Other orthodontics took pictures, x-rays, in-mouth evaluation before recommending the best treatment option, which was not necessarily invisalign. Some spent as much as 1.5 hours for the whole process, answering and addressing my questions, leading me to believe that they would take their time doing a more thorough job. read more
