I found this salon on yelp and love the reviews as well as the reviews on Google. I had to give this place a try. And I love the customer service, transparent prices and they even have ATM machines with no fee so you can get cash. There is a service charge if you use a card; most places are doing that. I get my nails done by Jimmy and he is very very good if you let him know what you want you, guys can Collab and make great nail art togethe. I also get no-chip pedicures and I just love the options I have for each service. Very clean and relaxing. It's conveniently located in River North. Right by the merchandise smart. The other nail tech are equally talented but definitely give Jimmy a try. Keep in mind that you're downtown so I think they're moderately priced. I like a lot of details so my nails will cost more. But you can always call/email your questions about pricing or you can talk with them before you get your service. Give a try and they have other locations; each have their own vibe. I do want to try others whenever I'm in the neighborhood.
I was looking for a nail technician who could do cat eye nails, and this was my first time here. I called to make a reservation (you can also book online). I got nail extensions and a pedicure, and since I was running late, they kindly did both at the same time. They have a big variety of nail options -- even for cat eye nails, there were about 30+ choices! The place is spacious, clean, and has restrooms. My nail technician was amazing and did a great job. I'll definitely be coming back!
I came in with a picture of what I was hoping for, and a couple broken nails wanting a gel builder fill. I came out with the best set of nails in my 25 years of having my nails done. I wanted a black to red glitter ombré and an almond shape. Ivy was so kind, fun, and professional! She worked skillfully and took care to keep my natural nail in good shape, literally and figuratively. Perfectly polished with clean edges. I'm beyond thrilled to have found my shop! Conveniently off the brown line if it gets too cold to walk to.
Lulu is a fabulous person and wonderful nail tech. Had a beautiful pink bubblegum French Dip on my hands. Thank you !! :) Everyone is very friendly and accommodating each time I've been there too!
I've been going to Nail-a-Écart in River North for a while now, and I have to say--Dora is amazing! I was originally seeing Lauren, who was fantastic, but after she left, I started going to Dora and she did not disappoint. Her nail designs are creative, clean, and exactly what I ask for every time. One of the things I really appreciate is that they take appointments and ask you to send your design ideas ahead of time, which helps everything run smoothly. The service is always great, and the staff is consistently polite and professional. Parking--well, it is River North, so plan ahead or grab a ride, but the quality of service makes it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend Dora if you're looking for beautiful, detailed nails and an stress-free experience!
Happily accepted my walk in on a Friday! I was intrigued by their cat-eye add ons but had only come in for a no-chip French manicure. So glad I had someone who took their time and was able to pay attention to detail. The shop is very cute, clean and had a lux-vibe
Sophie did a phenomenal fresh gel x set. She was super sweet, attentive, thorough, and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Not to mention, she did an amazing job with my very last minute closing time color/design (oops)! And I LOVE IT! Totally recommend nailacartes in general and definitely suggest seeing Sophie as she did an excellent job!

Like I could even ask for a second color or French tip and they seem annoyed. I came in so worried I'd bother them. And they were AMAZING. They kept reassuring me they're MY nails and they took great care of me. They were kind and so so so talented. And my nails have never lasted longer. I literally only had to get them off because they grew out so much I wanted another set! They truly went beyond and above. It's the first time I've decided to actually get my nails done on a regular basis.
if you're wanting to get in and out of a nail salon quick, but still get luxury results, this salon is the place to go! I came in on a Tuesday and i saw online that if you come in before 2pm monday-thursday, you get $10 off builder gel, so you bet i was there! i really liked how they had tv's playing in the salon. they had on reality tv shows which i love! Jimmy did my nails and he did an amazing job! he finished in one hour. usually builder gel appointments i've had in the past took 2 hours minimum! i got $10 off and my total came out to $70 before tip. i'll definitely be returning here :)
Absolutely love this place. They are very helpful and do fantastic work. I needed a nail fixed when I was visiting from out of town. They were quick, professional and did amazing work. In fact I'm returning today to get another nail fixed.
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at NAILàCARTE. I've now had two separate issues with redeeming my Gel-X Groupon, and instead of receiving clarity or resolution, I've experienced miscommunication, lack of accountability, and poor customer service. * On May 17, I visited the salon intending to use my 2 Gel-X extension Groupon, but I was told it couldn't be applied. I ended up purchasing a separate 1 Gel-X Groupon just to receive service. * On May 29, I returned and was finally able to use my original 2 Gel-X Groupon, and I was told the second set would be saved to my account. That never happened. * Today, when I tried to redeem the remaining service, I was told they couldn't find it. When I asked for help, Ricky (manager) told me there was nothing they could do. I had an appointment, showed a design in advance, and they said they couldn't do it. Instead of offering an alternative, they simply said they wouldn't be doing my nails. To make things worse, they removed everything from my nails and sent me out with no polish, no base coat, nothing--just bare, damaged nails (photo attached). I asked for at least a polish or a simple finish, and was denied again. After spending money on multiple Groupons and being treated dismissively twice, I'm left with no service and nails that look worse than when I walked in. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

I so much loved coming here and been doing my nails with Nur several times in a row; they always looked and felt perfect. Last time she used new products and i got some air bubbles on the nail polish; this is an indication of product and dryness issue; i came back to fix it and unfortunately she was not available, had it fixed with Liam.
