I really did not like my nails. I wasn't originally going to post a review because the ladies there are super nice and I decided to just leave it. But now I'm really upset....They just broke over me opening a Ziploc I just got these done about four hours ago. Dip powder with a tip. When she was finished, I really didn't like the shape and the nail was super bumpy & not as shiny as i like. The color I chose was blue and it turned out purple. I know sometimes they can't help it and this happens but I'm just really shocked that my nail just broke over me opening a ZIPLOCK BAG!! Most salons I have gone to these nails last weeks and are really strong. Very upset to have just wasted $60. :( UPDATE: Nancy (different nail tech than who I had before) was very kind & fixed my nails. I think their Gel & Acrylic is better than their dip powder method. Great at mani/pedi's. But they need to step up their waxing game. This is gross. Also, I have to ask them to use a clean wooden stick that hasn't been used. Then she pulled out an eyebrow brush that looked like it had been used on 1,000 people. I could actually see the skin flakes all over the brush. Ugh! Obviously I didn't let her use THAT on me. Why do I keep coming back?? Because my eyebrows always look fantastic when I leave there. Plus it's $10 So if cleanliness is important, don't get waxed here!!!!! The maid of honor made an appt for all the bridemaid's and bride to get our nails done here this past week. We went right when they opened so there was NO ONE there. We literally had the place all to ourselves for the whole 2.5 hours we were there. They sat us down right away in the spa chairs, which they have like 7-8 in a row and 4 more in the back. Nancy was my technician. She was very nice and friendly. Then the owner lady came out and talked to us as she did my nails. She was saying that she sold the salon in the marina and opened up this one and they were redecorating. She was so cute! I decided to do the shellac french tip nails and they turned out AWESOME! I love them because they are more durable than just regular polish but not damaging like acrylics. I can grow my nails out pretty long so they turned out great. This place definitely was a GREAT deal. My spa pedi (which included parrafin wax) and shellac french mani was only $55 BUCKS! SOLD! The sister of the owner did my eyebrow yesterday and she was so rude and careless , in 2 minuets she told me she is done. Of I could rate it a 0 I would. This was the most frustrating and disappointing experience I've ever had and I'm NOT a Picky person by any means! I went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure they told me the wait would be 15min which was fine because I didn't schedule an appointment. The womanThat helped me out had no manners what so ever. She would just grab my hand like it wasn't attached to a person. She often would be applying nail polish, clipping, or filing while turning away and not paying attention to what she was doing. I was getting a French tip shellac manecure and I pointed out to her that some nails didn't get any white polish. So instead of adding polish to the areas she just filed my nails more AFTER shellac was applied. My nails were poorly filed at the end very rough. So sad to have to update my review. I came here for a deluxe pedicure and it went all bad. All I wanted to do was relax because I work two jobs on my feet and it was not possible at all! My pedicure started SUPER FAST to the point where when she was pushing my cutical in she jammed me in the skin and I yelped in pain and told her she needed to slow down. So painful! When my pedicure was done she had me sit for 30 mins then told me I could leave so I did, however my big toes were clearly not dry enough because I watched her glob on the polish so much. I'm not a slave to perfectly painted gel/shellac nails. I just like a good manicure done every now and again when I have a special event or am going out of town. Trying to find a decent manicure locally has been a challenge.....all I want is a good cuticle nipping, and a manicure that lasts longer than a few days that doesn't chip. Nail and Spa fits the bill! Clean facility and competent technicians. I've been a half a dozen times to Nail and Spa and tried various ladies. All deliver a decent manicure. I have my favorite - Lee - but all of the ladies do a nice job. The pedicure chairs are amazing! They have at least a dozen of them, all high end. A comfortable and extremely relaxing experience. I had a "cheese grater" used on my feet to scale down calluses. Odd, I thought at first....but wow......my feet felt smooth and pretty. They are generally always busy, which is a good sign. Book an appointment! Walk ins are welcome, but if you don't want to wait during peak hours, call ahead. Overall, they do a nice job at a decent price. I'll always be on the eternal hunt for a 5 star salon but right now, I'm happy with Nail and Spa. read more

Shocked to see the good reviews for this place. I had a tragic experience and will never return again. Came here with my friends to have a good spa day but came out in tears because the lady yelled at me when I said I wasn't happy with her rushed service. The "nail techs " did my and my friends pedicure in a record breaking 10 mins. She made my heel bleed because she rushed it so much even when I told her politely to slow down. She hurt my heel and my hands. Save your money and go elsewhere. I never have been humiliated in my whole entire life. She told me it's a LAW that I can't leave her salon unhappy. If the owner of this salon is reading this.. please don't spread fake news like our president. People like you make this a terrible place. Please go educate yourself on how to run a business. Their spa pedicure includes a sugar scrub and paraffin, which most salons charge $5-15 more for (on top of their $25 spa pedicure prices). I got my usual favorite shellac color here, and they lasted 3 weeks. The pedicure was significantly more thorough than the ones I have been getting at my other salon. This family owned and staffed salon is my favorite place to get a mani-pedi in Kirkland. I've tried them all and this is the only nail shop that gets my business. The staff is made up of two brothers, their wives and occasionally their mom and are super friendly. The shop clean, well lit and welcoming - and who can resist a good massage chair? Little to no waiting time and a great, well organized and kept collection of colors. The location is centrally located - although tucked into a shopping center that can be a little tricky to get to if you're headed east on 85th. Rates are very reasonable very good for the area. Most importantly: The staff takes plenty of time to get the job done right and I never feel rushed out the door once my M/P is complete. They are true professionals and know what's up when it comes to making your hands and feet look and feel fabulous. For example, I got one of those fancy shellac manicures from another salon and within a week the polish had started to peel. I was convinced it was the new fangled rip off, but my Nail and Spa tech showed me exactly why the shellac had failed (which was due to poor manicure technique) and explained how it should have been done properly - even though I wasn't getting another shellac/gel manicure. They care about the quality of the work they do, not just how many jobs they can do in a day. read more

I am disappointed to say that I revoke my previous reviews and recommendations and have to give this place one star. About 6 months ago, the management changed. Initially this change was good, because they didn't over promise customers, and we're about to get you in and out much faster. But, six months in, all of the technicians have left and been replaced with new people. I even sat next to someone getting her nails done by someone on a job interview. Literally had not done nails before and was asked to do shellac as part of her interview. Yikes. During a recent pedicure, another new employee went to town on my nails- and not in a good way. She literally cut my nail in half vertically and pulled it off. I only had half of my toe nail left! Despite my screams of pain, pulling away, and my poor bleeding toe, she would not stop. Needless to say, I will not be returning. The shellac that used to last for a month, now barely lasts two weeks. The prices increase every time I go back, and are now about double what they used to be. And worst of all, the punch card is no longer good for a free entree at the Pho House. Love this nail spa. I have been coming here for about 2 years on and off. I came by the other day after getting off of work and in desperate need of some R&R and pampering. What better way to do that they to get a essential mani and pedi? I've been to several other salons in the area--some smaller establishments and some that were way over priced because of the area. Nail and Spa is located in the Petco shopping center, tucked away off 85th. The name of it doesn't sound amazing or exciting but the lame moniker is where the medocrity ends. This place is great. The employees are VERY nice. Each time I return,they remember me by name-even though I've never made an appointment or sometimes lapse a few weeks before my next visit. They take a lot of time to do the work and allow you to relax and enjoy it without the sometimes unwanted chitter chatter. Great selections of colors, clean organized establishment and they offer you beverages. The price is absolutely fair considering some spas I've visited have charged upwards of $65 for a mani and pedi. Here it's a clean $30. They have other services as well, the typical ones found at all spas. I think out of sheer convenience, I have gone to other salons. No more. This is my go to from now on! read more

Luck was not on my side when I came here. It was a sad day for my hands. And feet. What went wrong: - The (kind) man giving me a pedicure was tasked with helping not one, not two, but THREE customers at the same time. He was alternating between me and two others. If I were time-constrained, this would have been even more frustrating. - One of the employees decided to come "clean up" all of the nail polish bottles at each pedicure station... and swiped mine while my guy was up to help another customer. So when he returned, he had to track it down. - My full set is without a doubt the worst full set I've ever had done. I ask for pink powder instead of white, to give it color. ALL other nail salons know to give white tips regardless if pink powder is used for the lower-two thirds. I realized she was putting polish on without doing the white tip... it was too late to change it, AND she wanted to charge more. Right after I just tipped her too... dumb me. - The woman doing my full set stopped mid-way to complain to her customers about the customer before me. I get that the customer before me was a complete b*tch, but please don't delay my services so you can vent. Save that for later. What was good: The cost for the pedicure and full set came to $50. That's pretty inexpensive in comparison to other salons. But, I'd rather pay more for better quality. read more

I booked this place after reading discouraging reviews on the original place my bride booked. As a bridesmaid, I wanted to make sure that my bride didn't regret any services done just because it was close to her place and decently priced. Though the reviews for this spa were few, it seemed the most promising out of other nail places in the area. I am very glad it worked out. Their prices are also cheaper than the place my bride originally wanted to go to. :) I called in on a Tuesday or Wednesday to see if they would be able to take 5 of us at 5:00pm that Friday (that was what the original booking at the other place was, so that was the time slot we were going for). The guy that answered the phone was very friendly, and thankfully, they were able to take us. He told me he would call me at 4:00pm on Friday to confirm the appointment. Sure enough, I got a call right at 4:00pm that day to confirm. We ended up being a little late because one car got a little lost, but they were gracious with us and got started on our bride first while another bridesmaid and I waited for the other two to confirm colors. We had the whole family working on us, and I felt they were all very nice, although one bm said that the lady working on her glared at her a couple of times for flinching and being ticklish. It's a narrow space, and all the work stations are lined along the left wall, but the right wall has large mirrors mounted on it. While sitting in the lovely massage chairs, we were able to see everyone in the mirrors to talk without feeling like we had to lean and twist. I had a poorly self-repaired broken nail that just about tore completely off as I was trying to reach into my pocket for something. The guy working on me had absolutely no problem fixing it up for me, which he did with such precision and detail you wouldn't know it was a fake nail unless you looked really close. Another thing I loved was that he didn't try to push square tips on me, like many other salons have done for French tips, and let me keep my rounded nails. Most importantly, my bride really enjoyed her services. I had to remove the nail polish from my hands shortly after for work, and the false nail is still very natural-looking and perfect. The nail polish on my toes is still perfect after a week, forgiving the bit of nail growth, which is quite a feat considering I'm a bit clumsy and bang my toes into everything. Not saying they're absolutely chip-proof... just saying I'm very surprised they've lasted so long. I actually rarely go to nail salons, mostly due to fear of bad experiences, but I would happily return to this place for my mani/pedi needs. read more

I got dip-powder ombré on my acrylics and they were BEAUTIFUL-- I've done acrylics at a bunch of other places and these ones never started popping up at the back like most of them do. When it comes to acrylics both Nancy and Linh are skilled and fast! Every time I get a new set I always get compliments and people ask where I get them done. For the first time, I tried this place this morning (Wednesday). I was literally passing by this area and decided to give it a try. Price was very reasonable and the ladies were really nice. I was in and out with mani and pedi all dried up within an hour and they are beautiful. I loved every service. Spa chair was not as comfortable as it should be for an hour sitting, in my opinion, but it was not to the point that it's impossible to stay seated. They don't use the new files- I was getting wondered if they actually sanitize those. I will definitely give it another try to this place. I went in for an acrylic full set, and asked for something....a little different. Not only was my unusual request completed beautifully, but before we got started she told me to tell her if I didn't like them any step along the way because she would fix it.
